ROBBINS - Vida Hussey Garner, 90, of 4020 N.C. 705 died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at Pinelake Health and Rehab Center, Carthage.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Smyrna United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Joseph Forbes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Moore County, the widow of Houston Garner, a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class at her church and was retired from Robbins Mills.
Surviving are son, Swanson Garner of Robbins; sisters, Artie Mae Brown of Asheboro, Gladys H. Upchurch of Highfalls, Rosa H. Williams and Beatrice H. Grimes, both of Robbins; brother, Jasper Junior Hussey of Spring Lake; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
The family will be at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, other times at the Swanson Garner home, 276 Browns Mill Road.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, with the Rev. W. Michael Holder officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro.
She was a native of Roper, the widow of Jack McEachern, a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

Graveside service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Arlington National Cemetery with the Rev. David Schwartz officiating.
He was a native of Lawrence, Mass, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served in World War II and also in the U.S. Army where he retired as master sergeant.
Surviving are sons, Alfred Sciuto of Marina, Calif.; stepson, David Schwartz of Asheboro; brothers, Tony Sciuto of Cambridge, Mass., Santo Sciuto of Lawrence, Mass; sisters, Lee Vitigliano of Cambridge, Mass, and Carmela Manzi of Lawrence, Mass.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Jackson County, the widow of Thomas A. "T.A." Jackson and a homemaker.

She had lived in the Liberty and Ramseur areas prior to going to the nursing home in King.

LIBERTY - Raymond Clifton Reitzel, 82, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at his home.

He was a native of Guilford County and had lived in Juneau, Alaska, where he worked on the Alaskan Highway and for the International Airport. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are brother, Edward H. Reitzel of Liberty.
