ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. - Helen Jean Burrow Richardson, 70, of 101 Burrow Lane, formerly of Asheboro, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, with the Rev. Joe Brown and the Rev. Danny Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
She was a native of Elizabethton, a homemaker and the widow of Alvie Richardson.
Surviving are daughters, Ruby Williams, Billie Coltrane and Bonnie Coltrane, all of Asheboro, Sherry Frye of Carolina Beach; sons, Paul Burrow, Randy Burrow and Tommy Burrow, all of Elizabethton, Charlie Burrow of Carolina Beach; stepson, Willie Richardson of Asheboro; brother, Bobby Hyder of Johnson City, Tenn.; 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Wednesday; other times at the home of daughter, Ruby Williams, 2935 Staley Farm Road, Asheboro.

ASHEBORO - Theodore "Ted" Priddy, 83, formerly of Cedar Road, Asheboro, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation of Asheboro.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Community Baptist Church, Greensboro, where he was a member, with the Pastor J.R. Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He was a Stokes County native, a long-time resident of Greensboro and a retired worker from Southern Railway.
Surviving are wife, Dorothy "Dot" Burrow Priddy; son, Glenn Robert Priddy Sr. of Moneta, Va.; daughter, Rachel P. Martin of Greensboro; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
The family will be at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday.

SILER CITY - Harriett Applegate Byerly, 82, of 220 S. Third Ave., died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003, at Chatham Hospital, Inc.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Chatham Memorial Park, Siler City, with the Rev. Jim Wall officiating.
She was a native of Monmouth, N.J., an active member of First Baptist Church, an RN graduate of Monmouth Nursing School and a homemaker.
Surviving are husband, Dr. Claude H. Byerly of Siler City; daughter, Claudia B. Bessmer of Wilmington; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the home.

MT. GILEAD - Bertie Ayers Harris, 63, of 502 N. Main St., died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003, at Britthaven of Piedmont, Albemarle.

A Carroll County, Va., native, she was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.

MT. GILEAD - Rosa Ann Morton, 104, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at First-Health Montgomery Memorial Hospital, Troy.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wadeville Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Lonnie Gibson officiating.
She was a Montgomery County native and a homemaker.
Surviving are five grand-children; four great-grandchildren.

ASHEBORO - Juanita Cox Hedrick, 76, of Concord and formerly of Asheboro, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, at Northeast Medical Center, Concord.

She was a Randolph County native, a graduate of Asheboro High School and Women's College (now UNC-G). She was a retired elementary school teacher, a volunteer with the American Red Cross and the New Hanover Hospital in Wilmington. She was the widow of Earl Ross Hedrick Jr.
Surviving are son, David Hedrick of Concord; daughter, Lynne Roff-Sanders of Homer, Alaska; sister, Claudine Bunch of Asheboro; eight grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 1-2 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Brower's Chapel UMC, where she was a lifelong member, with the Rev. Jeff Sypole officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was a Randolph County native and a homemaker. After retiring from Acme-McCrary she ran a catering business from her home. She was a charter member of the Women's Society at her church and was the widow of F. Earl Vestal.
Surviving are daughter, Earlene V. Ward of Asheboro; sisters, Cleta Mae Kearns and Faedene Maness, both of Asheboro; brothers, Delbert G. Ragsdale of Asheboro and Bernice T. Ragsdale of Charlotte; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Huntington, W. Va., and was retired from Florida Public Schools after 30 years of service. She was the widow of Jack P. Beasley.

She was a Randolph County native, of the Methodist faith and retired from Brian Nursing Center. She was the widow of Baxter Hunt.
