Graveside service will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Patterson Grove Christian Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.
She was a native of Randolph County, a retired employee of Klopman Mills and a member of First Baptist Church of Franklinville.
Surviving are sons, Clayton Hutchins Jr. and Jerry Hutchins, both of Asheboro; daughter, Louise Green of Nashville, Tenn.; brother, Larry Griffin of Milton, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur, 7-9 p.m. Saturday.
Kathleen J. Johnson
ASHEBORO - Kathleen Jarrell Johnson, 88, formerly of Randleman, died Friday, March 7, 2003, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman, with the Rev. Frank Barrett, the Rev. Bill Barnes and Wayne Jarrell officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
She was a native of Randleman, the widow of Robert "Stoney" Johnson and a homemaker.
Surviving are sons, Jim Johnson of Bennett, Bill Johnson of Sophia; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Saturday.
Arnold C. Moore
ASHEBORO - Arnold Curtis Moore, 79, of 1204 Cliff Road, Asheboro, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at his home.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Back Creek Friends Meeting, where he was a member, with the Rev. Ray Lambe and the Rev. George McDowell officiating. Burial will be in the meeting cemetery.
He was a native of Randolph County, the widower of Mary Frances Moore, a retired employee of Hickory Printing of High Point and a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
Surviving are daughter, Arnette M. Fowler of Thomasville; stepdaughters, Patti Hughes of Asheboro, Julia Wright of Richmond, Va.; brothers, Tom Moore of Liberty, Joe Moore of Ramseur; sisters, Mabel Bray and Ann Hinshaw, both of Greensboro; two grandsons; one great-grandson.
The family will be at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, 6-8 p.m. Saturday, other times at the home.

SOPHIA - Mary Ethel Hill Tysinger, 87, of 3754 Roy Farlow Road, died Thursday, March 6, 2003, at her home.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Shepherd United Methodist Church, with Pastor Jonathan Shook officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Stokes County, the widow of Oscar Lee Tysinger, a homemaker and a Baptist.
Surviving are daughters, Mary Jane T. Brown of Sophia, Linda T. Bradford of High Point, Shirley T. Rozier of Gaston; sons, John Wayne Tysinger of Charlotte, Randy L. Tysinger of Sophia; sisters, Hallie Hauser of Winston-Salem, Allie Wishon of High Point; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.

ARCHDALE - Cecil Odell Sharp, 74, of 4809 Roby Drive, died Thursday, March 6, 2003, at Asheboro Health & Rehabilitation.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
He was a native of South Carolina, the widower of Vonzelle Sharp, of the Baptist faith and a former fork lift operator with Masonite, Inc.
Surviving are stepdaughters, Ronda Hughes and Shirley Ann Jarrell, both of Asheboro; stepson, Dennis Summey of Asheboro; five stepgrandchildren; 13 stepgreat-grandchildren.

SILER CITY - Blanche Marley Oldham, 96, of 914 Chapel Hill Road, formerly of Slier City, died Thursday, March 6, 2003, at Hospice Home Palliative Care Center, Burlington.
Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Oakwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Jim Wall officiating.
She was a native of Chatham County, the widow of James M. "Jim" Oldham, a member of First Baptist Church and the Philathea Sunday School class, and a retired sales clerk.
Surviving are sons, Benjamin Byron Oldham of Siler City, Phillip Larry Oldham of Gibsonville, James Russell Oldham of Cochese, Ariz.; sister, Evelyn Marley Campbell of Greensboro; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, Siler City, 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday, other times at the home of Byron Oldham, 1016 Driftwood Drive, Siler City.

GASTONIA - Anna Ruth Loftis, 72, of Clover, S.C., formerly of Asheboro, died Friday, March 7, 2003, at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia.
Funeral service will be 6 p.m. Monday at South Gastonia Church of God, Gastonia, with the Rev. Bobby Gilley and the Rev. Ted Smith officiating. A private burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
She was a native of Union County, Ga., and a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of God, a Sunday School teacher, president of the local and district Ladies' Ministries, nursery coordinator and editor of the church bulletin.
Surviving are husband, the Rev. Ray E. Loftis; sons, Tony Loftis of Memphis, Tenn., Donnie Loftis of Gastonia; sisters, Bobbie Pugh of Winston-Salem, Gwenda Davis of Cherryville; brother, Charles Garrett of Indiantown, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the church immediately following the service.

SEAGROVE - Noel Lee Hayes, 65, of 4806 Woodfern Road, died Friday, March 7, 2003, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Jeff Moran, the Rev. Andy Scott and the Rev. Howard Moffitt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was a native of Randolph County, a retired poultry farmer, a Sunday School superintendent and teacher, a member of the board and a member of the United Methodist Men at his church. He was a member and director of the Randolph County Farm Bureau and a member of the Randolph County Livestock Association.
Surviving are wife, Barbara Beck Hayes of the home; sons, Mark Hayes of Seagrove, Dean Hayes of Columbia, S.C., Jamie Hayes of Randleman; mother, Edna Jordan Hayes of Seagrove; brother, David Hayes of Seagrove; sisters, Gladys Johnson of Asheboro, Ruth McNeill, Elizabeth Cox, Rachel Hayes, all of Seagrove, Carol Edwards of Brunswick, Ga.; nine grandchildren.

He was a native of Montgomery County and an employee of Freeman Electric Co.

Lynthacum Jr. and Jamie Lynthacum, both of Troy; daughter, Marsha Sue Lynthacum of Star; stepdaughters, Pam Rouse, Rebecca Cranford, Valerie Huddleston, Virginia Huddleston, all of Troy; sisters, Betty L. Haywood, Sylvia Lynthacum, Kathy Mabe, all of Biscoe, Lois Bumpus of Star; brother, Donnie R. Lynthacum of Troy; seven grandchildren.
