Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home, Vanstory Chapel, Greensboro. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park.
He was of the Baptist faith, a regulator service technician for Piedmont Natural Gas and the owner and operator of Campbell's Quail Farm.
Surviving are wife, Sylvia M. Campbell; mother, Addie Williams Campbell of Staley; son, Lonnie Dale Campbell of Liberty; daughter, Annette Burton of Greensboro; son, Edgar Duke "Eddie" Vaughn III of Greensboro; brothers, James A. Campbell of Julian, John Dee Campbell of Liberty, Lloyd Campbell of Siler City; sisters, Dorothy C. Kivett, Addie Lea Taylor, Pat Campbell, all of Staley; five grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

Furnie Robison
HIGH POINT - Furnie Robison, 82, of 509 Flint Ave., died Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at his home.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church cemetery in Black Ankle.
He was a native of Horry County, S.C., the widower of Myrtle Smith Robison, a retired employee of Burlington Industries and a member of Wayside Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, where he served on the board of deacons.
Surviving are sons, Edward Robison of Washington, D.C., Bruce Robison and Danny Robison, both of Conway, S.C., George Robison of Sanford; daughters, Evelyn Page of Asheboro, Rose Robison of Thomasville, Bobbie Sykes of Denton; brothers, Willie B. Robison of Wilmington, Ernest Robison and Purlie Robison, both of Conway, S.C.; sisters, Nettie Ruth Johnson of Georgetown, S.C., May Buzzard of Hagerstown, Md.; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
The family will be at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday.

MT. GILEAD - Walter "Jack Baldwin" Williams, 79, formerly of Mt. Gilead, died Monday, March 10, 2003, in Chapel Hill.
Funeral service will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Harris Funeral Home, Mt. Gilead, with the Rev. Dewey Rudisell officiating. Burial will be in Ingram Chapel Church cemetery.
He was a native of Montgomery County.
Surviving is wife, Ella Wee Williams of Henderson.
Clara D. Henderson
TROY - Clara Dennis Henderson, 87, of Westwood Apt. 12B, died Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at Autumn Care of Biscoe.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Uwharrie United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Glenn Hancock officiating.
She was a native of Montgomery County, a member of Uwharrie United Methodist Church and a former employee of Troy Drapery Corp.
Surviving are son, Darrell Henderson of High Point; brother, Loy Dennis of Troy; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren.
The family will be at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, Troy, 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

ROBBINS - Johnny Lee Brewer, 51, of 1948 Spies Road, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at 1459 Chriscoe Road, Seagrove.

He was a native of Montgomery County and a pipe fitter with Local Union 421.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at John Hall Presbyterian Church, Carthage, with the Rev. Joseph Thompson and the Rev. Jimmie Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Moore County, a former deacon and missionary worker in John Hall Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are daughter, Azalia M. Hosey of Detroit, Mich.; son, Dr. James Blue of Durham; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the church 1-2 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service.

She was a native of Davidson County, the widow of Joseph Robert Tysinger and Colus William Williams and a homemaker.
Surviving are son, Douglas Tysinger of Fallston; stepsons, Floyd Williams of Casar, Sonny Williams of Lexington; daughter, Betty Cranford of Winston-Salem; brothers, Ed Daniel, Bill Daniel, Bert Daniel, all of Denton; sisters, Dean Yates of Savannah, Ga., Dallas Snider and Nona Carrick, both of Denton; 10 grandchildren.

She was a Richmond County native and was employed with Pinehurst Textile for over 30 years. She was the widow of Herman Harvey Brown.

HIGH POINT - Clyde Madison Ward, 89, of Evergreen Nursing Home, formerly of 9420 Archdale Road, Trinity, died Thursday, March 13, 2003, at High Point Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with the Rev. Hallie Scott and the Rev. John Osteen officiating. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
He was a native of Randolph County, the widower of Grace Osteen Ward and a retired superintendent of R.K. Stewart & Son after 30 years. He was a member of the First Church of God, former member of the Board of Trustees and served on various committees at the church.
Surviving are son, Darrell Ward of Trinity; daughters, Gayle W. Bryson of Trinity, Sharron W. Lawrence of Archdale; brother, Howard Elwood Ward of Sophia; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

He was a Moore County native and a retired sawmiller.
Surviving are daughters, Dorothy Maness of Robbins and Gertrude Phillips of Aberdeen; sons, Gilbert L. Horner Sr. of Southern Pines and Carl Jr. "Pete" Horner of Robbins; sister, Bonnie Horner Williams of Robbins; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
