Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman, with the Rev. Gayle Ford officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
She was a native of Guilford County, the widow of Mallon J. Fields, a retired employee of Laughlin Hosiery Mill in Randleman, former manager of Randleman Community Service and a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Marie Jeffers of Asheboro, Brenda Highfill of Randleman; brother, Huey Baysinger of Greensboro; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

THOMASVILLE - Glenna Cook Cranford, 91, of 612 Irene St., died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at Thomasville Medical Center.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home, Thomasville, with the Rev. Jack G. Stratas officiating. Burial will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was a native of Davidson County, the widow of Robert "Bob" Cranford, a former employee of Ragan Hosiery Mill and a member of First United Methodist Church and Circle #2.
Surviving are sons, James Frank Cranford of Thomasville, Gary P. Cranford of Asheboro; half sister, Iris Allen of Asheboro; half brother, Kent Cook of South Carolina; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, other times at the home.

MT. GILEAD - Ruth Arneice Stanback Wilson, 76, of Sullivan Street, Greensboro, formerly of Wadeville, died Friday, March 14, 2003, in High Point Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Clark's Grove Baptist Church, Wadeville, where she was a member, with the Rev. Harvey Gatewood officiating. Burial will be in Bruton Cemetery.
She was a native of Montgomery County, a graduate of Peabody High School, Troy, a graduate of L. Richardson School of Nursing, Greensboro, and a Registered Nurse.
Surviving are son, Burnell Phillips Jr. of Albemarle; daughter, Reba Phillips Covington of Baltimore, Md.; sisters, Florence Carter of High Point, Joyce Wright of Brooklyn, N.Y., Thelma Bowser of New York, N.Y., Abedna Scales of Greensboro, Judith Bennett of Rochester, N.Y.; five grandchildren.
The family will be at the church 1:30-2 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service, other times at the home of the son, 230 Summitt Ave., Albemarle.

DURHAM - Thomas Edward Masingale, 93, of 1117 Clarendon St., died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at Carver Living Center.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Clements Funeral Home, Durham, with the Rev. Don Chasteen officiating. Entombment will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens mausoleum.
He was the widower of Helen Frances Daughtry Masingale and a former employee of Liggett and Myers Tobacco Co.
Surviving are sons, Jerry Masingale of Randleman, Mickey Masingale and Kenneth Masingale, both of Durham; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

ASHEBORO - Elgie Lunsford, 81, of 1344 Southmont Drive, Asheboro, died Monday, March 17, 2003, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, with Pastor Ricky Spence officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park with military honors.
He was a native of Laurens, S.C., of the Baptist faith and retired from Union Carbide. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a Master Mason with Balfour Lodge #188 AF & AM.
Surviving are wife, Edna L. Lunsford; sons, Joel Lunsford of Palm Bay, Fla.; daughter, Margaret Waynick of Asheboro; sister, Clarkie Balderson of Ramseur; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one stepgranddaughter; three stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was a Montgomery County native and was retired from Montgomery Hosiery.
