Surviving are husband, James Bruton Allen; daughter, Dr. Madeline May Allen; son; James Bruton Allen Jr.; sister, Dorthey M. Cleveland of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
