Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Stanley Webster officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Richmond County, a retired employee of Gilead Manufacturing and the widow of Clarence William Pemberton.
Surviving are granddaughter, Tracy Bennett-Barnes, whom she raised; four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the church noon-1 p.m., prior to the service.

ASHEBORO - Lewis Clifford Moody, 84, of 1020 Pinehill Road, Fayetteville, formerly of English Street, Asheboro, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at his home.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Randolph Memorial Park, with the Rev. Derrick Moody officiating.
He was a Randolph County native, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Balfour Baptist Church. He was retired from Acme-McCrary Corp. after 50 years of service and the widower of Margaret Pearce Moody.
Surviving are daughter, Janet Moody Greiner of Fayetteville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Randolph County, retired from Columbia Mfg. and a member of Sandy Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons, Bill Woodell and Roger Woodell, both of Asheboro; brothers, Gurney Nance and James Nance, both of Asheboro, Wid Nance of Franklinville; sister, Bernice Smith of Asheboro; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren.

LIBERTY - Mary Ferguson Pattishall, 83, formerly of Liberty, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Liberty, where she was a member. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
She was a Randolph County native, retired from Kellwood Hosiery, and after retirement helped at the Reitzel Senior Center in Liberty. She was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Women and the widow of Sankie J. Pattishall.
Surviving are daughters, Patti Hunt of Randleman and Jane Nance of Liberty; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

She was a native of Wilkes County, a homemaker and a Sunday School class member at her church.

He was a native of North Carolina, a member of Trussville Methodist Church and a truck driver with C.B.I.

He was a native of Biscoe and a U.S. Navy veteran who served on the USS Bennington. He was a home builder for 45 years.

She was a Montgomery County native and a homemaker. She was a member of the County Extension Homemakers and the widow of William Cohen Wright. She was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army where she served in the Women's Army Corps and Women's Army Air Corps.
Surviving are son, William Claude Wright of Carthage; sisters, Tommie M. Russell of Lexington, Laurine M. Holt of Eldorado and Bobbie M. Miles of Troy; brother, Bill Mullinix Jr. of Albemarle; one stepgrandson; one stepgreat-grandson.
