She was a native of Randolph County and a homemaker.

RANDLEMAN - David Earl "Buddy" Ivey Sr., 58, of 678 Railroad Ave., died Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at his home.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Sophia Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bill Barnes and the Rev. Stanley Roark officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
He was a native of Robeson County, owner/operator of Ivey's Trucking and Paving of Randleman and a U.S. Army veteran. He attended Sophia Baptist Church.
Surviving are wife, Jeanie Adams Ivey of Randleman; sons, David E. Ivey Jr. and Jamie S. Ivey, both of Randleman; sisters, Peggy Hunt and Gloria Cox, both of Randleman; brother, Richard Ivey of Randleman; two grandchildren.

She was a native of Richmond, Va., and a retired employee of Laughlin Hosiery Mill. She attended Bailey's Grove Baptist Church.

ARCHDALE - Ausbie Washington Tuggle, 89, of 4406 Burgemere St., died Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at Wake Forest Baptist University Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with the Rev. Robert L. Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
He was a Stokes County native, was of the Baptist faith and had worked for Drexel Heritage. He was a farmer and the widower of Minnie Biby Tuggle.
Surviving are daughter, Betty Jean Cross of Florida; sons, Charles Tuggle of Asheboro, Don Tuggle of Trinity and Ron Tuggle of Archdale; brother, Clayton Tuggle of High Point; sister, Sudie Raymor of High Point; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

He was a native of Surry County, an employee of Randolph Salvage and a member of Biscoe Masonic Lodge #437.

Marguerite R. Miner
REDLANDS, Calif. - Marguerite R. "Rita" Miner, 96, died Friday, July 18, 2003, in Redlands, Calif.
A private internment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro.
She was native of Gallion, Ohio, the widow of Norman E. Miner Sr. and a volunteer for the Randolph County De- partment of Social Services. She was a volunteer with the Randolph County Senior Adults Association's Salt Box and with the center's health screening center. She was named the county's 1980 "Volunteer of the Year." She was the executive director of the county's Red Cross Program, pioneered the local chapter of the American Association of Retired People, served as a Democratic Party registrar and poll-tender and was one of the original members of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church.
Surviving are daughter, Mary Ann Abbott of Sterling, Va.; son, Norman E. Miner Jr. of Redlands, Calif.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

RANDLEMAN - Joybelle Clark Lindley, 93, of 1195 Pineview Road, died Thursday, July 24, 2003, at North Pointe Assisted Living, Asheboro.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Asheboro, where she was a member, with the Rev. Russ Ward and the Rev. Happy Foster Kinnear officiating. Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at New Garden Friends Meeting Cemetery, Greensboro.
She was a native of Chatham County and the widow of Alfred C. Lindley.
Surviving are sisters, Elizabeth Giles and Mary Frances Kimpton, both of Atlanta, Ga.

WILSON - Donald Buchanan Dunbar, 64, died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at Wilson Medical Center.

He was a native of Richmond, Va., he attended Presbyterian Junior College in Maxton and Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg, Va., and graduated with a B.S. in business administration from the University of Richmond. He was an auditor and computer systems analyst with the Commonwealth of Virginia, an accounting manager and controller at Wilson Memorial Hospital, a chief financial officer at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro and Montgomery Memorial Hospital, Troy. He was a former president of the North Carolina chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and a board member of the National HFMA Board of Directors. He was an HFMA 1982 North Carolina Member of the Year and a recipient of the Medal of Honor for Lifetime Achievement. He was a Gold Life Master in the American Contract Bridge League.
Surviving are wife, Janice Raper Mitchell Dunbar; son, Carlton E. Dunbar of Alexandria, Va.; brother, William F. Dunbar III of Richmond, Va.; stepsons, Kenneth H. Mitchell Jr. of Clayton, Kevin Todd Mitchell of Raleigh; stepdaughter, Kimberly M. McCullers of Smithfield.

HIGH POINT - Eugene H. "Gene" Yow Sr. died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at High Point Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, High Point, with the Rev. Ward Burch officiating. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
He was a Moore County native and of the Baptist faith. He worked as a mechanic for North State Chevrolet before opening his own garage and was the widower of Mary B. Yow.
Surviving are daughters, Daphne Oldham of Asheboro, Sandra Tyner of West End, Patsy Hawkes of Greensboro; sister, Alma Hamlin of High Point; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
