She was a native of Chatham County, a former employee of Collins and Alkman's Siler City plant and a painter and sculptress.

She was a native of Chatham County, the widow of Huey Brower and Jacob Brian Camp and a retired employee of General Electric Company, Asheboro, and Gold Kist Company, Siler City.

She was a native of Carroll County, Va., the widow of Thomas W. Arrington and Floyd Cooper, a retired employee of United Telephone Company with over 28 years and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are daughter, Dana Arrington of Bonlee; son, Thomas Arnold Arrington of Ramseur; one grandson; two great-grandchildren.

TROY - J. Smith Capel Jr., 39, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003, while on a business trip in India on behalf of his company, Capel, Incorporated.

He was a native of Montgomery County and director of imports and overseas business for Capel, Inc. He was a member of the Young Presidents Organization and served on the board of The Land Trust of Central North Carolina. He was an alumnus of Virginia Episcopal School of Lynchburg, Va., and N.C. State University where he was also a member of the Order of the Cross and Chalice, a business honor society.
Surviving are wife, Elizabeth Warren Capel; daughters, Anna Elizabeth Capel, Olivia Caroline Capel and Frances Amelia Capel; son, Jesse Smith Capel III; sisters, Mary Clara Capel, Julianne Capel Hoell and Sarah Kea Capel Meacham.

MT. GILEAD - Lois Antoinette "Toni" Chambers Henderson, of Texas City, Texas, formerly of Mt. Gilead, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003, in Texas.
Funeral service was held on July 22 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, LaMarque, Texas, where she was a member. Burial was in Galveston, Texas.
She was a member of the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Court #163, the St. Monicas Society and the Queen of Peace Choir. She was a graduate of St. Agnes School of Nursing in North Carolina and retired from the John Sealy Hospital in Galveston after 34 years where she was head nurse. She was a volunteer at Our Daily Bread Shelter in Galveston.
Surviving are husband, Littleton J. Henderson III of Texas City, Texas; mother, Matilda Bruton Chambers; sons, Littleton J. "Scotty" Henderson IV, the Rev. William A.
