She was a native of Davidson County, the widow of Gene Shaw and a retired employee of Burlington House Furniture Colony Craft Plant. She was a member of the Golden Circle Sunday School Class, a former member of the WMU at her church and the first director of the church day care.
Surviving are son, Russell Shaw of Boone; daughter, Sandi Wright of Denton; sisters, Thelma Russell of Denton, Vivian Penry of High Point; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Moore County, the widow of Sheriff Robert Lee Kelly and Charles Currie Horne and a former sales clerk for Ginsburg's and Flinchum's department stores.
Surviving are son, Robert Lee Kelly Jr. of Carthage; sister, Virginia Bruce of Robbins; brothers, Roy Brown of Millersville, Md., Harold Brown of Asheboro; three grandchildren; two stepgranddaughters; two great-grandchildren.

WIRTZ, Va. - Raymond Elton "Baldie" Chitwood, 84, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, Va., with Elder Lane Carter and the Rev. Yo Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Jefferson Family Cemetery.
He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a member of Woodman of the World and American Legion Post 6, a support member of Burnt Chimney Volunteer Fire Department and a retired employee of Norfolk-Western Railway.
Surviving are wife, Madeline Jefferson "Pat" Chitwood; daughter, Judy Chitwood of Wirtz, Va.; son, Ricky Chitwood of Wirtz, Va.; sister, Temple Law of Asheboro; two grandchildren.

She was a native of Alamance County, a retired employee of Quality Molding and a member of the Geneviene Lindley Sunday School class at her church.

He was a Randolph County native and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was retired from McLean Trucking in Winston-Salem and Moore Brothers Bus Co. He was the widower of Callie Powers Hill and Helen Reel Hill.

She was a Montgomery County native, a retired hosiery mill worker and a homemaker. She was a choir member and had taught Sunday School for many years at her church. She was the widow of Clyde Daniel Robinson Sr.
