Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at George Brothers Funeral Service, Greensboro. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. at Northview Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Danbury.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Couples For Christ Sunday School class, the retired owner/operator of Randleman House Florist in Randleman and a former employee with Western Auto in Greensboro.
Surviving are husband, Harland C. Phillips of the home; sons, Gerald Vaughn Wood of Goldsboro, David Morton Wood of Danbury; daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Wood of Mesa, Ariz.; stepdaughter, Joni Phillips Carter of Greensboro; stepson, Jerry Phillips of Greensboro; brother, Lloyd Morton of Florida; sister, Annie Black of Garner; four grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Thursday.

CANDOR - Sharon Lynn Livingston, 31, of 106 Livingston Lane, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2003, at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital, Troy.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Long Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Larry Beaver officiating.
She was a native of Montgomery County and attended Long Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are parents, Billy Ray Livingston and Janie Lamonds Livingston of the home; sisters, Susan Gordon of Roanoke Rapids, Sandra Beaver of Mt. Gilead, Karen Livingston and Kimberly Livingston, both of Candor; grandmother, Doris Lamonds of Biscoe.

She was a native of Randolph County, the widow of Vannie C. Hancock and a homemaker. She attended Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.

She was a Montgomery County native and the widow of George Henry Knight Sr.

She was a native of Crown Point, N.M., and the widow of Carl J. Nissen. She attended high school in Montezuma, N.M. She attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, N.M., and was a 1934 graduate of Iowa State University (Ames). She was a member of Highland Baptist Church, the Highland Senior Activity Center and Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity. She was a charter and past member of New Mexico Genealogical Society, Inc., San Marcial #34 order of Eastern Star, Albuquerque White Shrine No. 1 and Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem,

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oakhurst Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Dr. Richard Crider officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
He was a Yancey County native and a graduate of Appalachian State University and N.C. A&T State University where he received his master's in Education. He was assistant principal at South Asheboro Middle School and later at Asheboro High School. After retirement, he taught driver's education from Moore's Driving School.
Surviving are wife, Beverly Bolton Whitson, of the home; sons, Channing Alan Whitson of Jamestown and Chad Blaine Whitson of Asheboro; sisters, Yvonne Marett of Black Mountain and Sybil Gragg of Swannanoa; three grandchildren.
