She was a native of Moore County and a retired employee of Robbins Mill.
Surviving are husband, Charlie Garner; son, Norris Garner of Robbins; brothers, Everette Marley, Norman Marley and Graham Marley, all of Robbins; sisters, Naomi Brown of Bennett, Virginia Moore, Julia Marley, Emily Owens and Barbara Reynolds, all of Robbins; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

ASHEBORO - Colene McDaniel Burns, 93, of Asheboro, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro.
Graveside service is 11 a.m. Monday at Gray's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Doug Miller officiating.
She was a Randolph County native and was retired from Acme McCrary Hosiery. She was the widow of E. Gilbert Burns.

He was a native of Steeds, the widower of Eva Lee King Williamson, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a retired employee of Klopman Mills of Asheboro and a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church.
Surviving are brother, Roy Williamson of Seagrove; sister, Grace Bean of Randleman.

He was a native of Randolph County, the widower of Gertha Cox Allen and a retired farmer. He was a member of the Randolph Livestock Association, a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Adult Sunday School class at his church.
Surviving are wife, Elva Smith Allen; sons, Stevie Allen and Eric Allen, both of Ramseur; daughter, Cherri Cox of Ramseur; stepsons, Carlton Joyce of Fayetteville, Richard Joyce and Robert Joyce, both of Liberty; sisters, Ola Kenan of Greensboro, Josephine Moore of Ramseur; brothers, Elmer Allen of Ramseur, Clifton Allen of Asheboro; four grandchildren; two stepgrandsons; two adopted grandsons.
