Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Bonlee Baptist Church, Bonlee, where he was a member, with the Rev. Darrell Williams officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Bonlee.
He was a native of Chatham County, a member of the Frank Andrews Adult Sunday School class and a retired employee of C.C. Routh Mills, Bonlee.
Surviving is brother, Howard J. "Buck" Gaines of Bonlee.

DENTON - Chesteen Cross Woodle, 69, of Old U.S. 64 East, Lexington, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at Thomasville Medical Center.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Silver Valley Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Gene Little officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Davidson County and a retired employee of Four Seasons Apparel, Thomasville.
Surviving are husband, Don Woodle of the home; daughter, Patricia Woodle of Lexington; brother, Rondal Cross of Lexington; sister, Jearleen Adams of Denton.

TROY - William "Speck" Leon Shaw, 81, of 528 Hickory St., died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital, Troy.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Troy, where he was a member, with Dr. James B. Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery.
He was a native of Randolph County, a former Sunday School secretary at his church, a member of Troy Masonic Lodge #718 and the Order of the Eastern Star and a retired supervisor of the 8th District of the N.C. Department of Transportation after 38 years.
Surviving are wife, Jessie Lassiter Shaw of the home; son, Stan Warren Shaw of Mt. Gilead; daughter, Beverly S. Ledbetter of Troy; brother, Gordon Shaw of Edenton; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Moore County and the widow of Lee Thomas Sr.

She was a Randolph County native and retired from General Electric. She was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church, Seagrove.

He was a Randolph County native, employed with Klaussner Furniture Mfg., and was a U.S. Army veteran.

STALEY - Pearl Frazier Pike, 96, formerly of Staley, died Thursday morning, Nov. 6, 2003, at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at Rocky River Friends Meeting, with the Rev. David Hobson and the Rev. Jimmy Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Staley Cemetery.
Mrs. Pike was a native of Randolph County, a homemaker and a member of Rocky River Friends Meeting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Roby Pike, and her parents, Charlie Lee and Flora Alice Frazier.
Surviving is son, Hampton Pike and wife Mabel of Staley; sister, Ava Lee Moffitt of Staley; granddaughter, Janet Hill and husband Jimmy of Staley, and grandson, Donald Pike and wife Nan of Staley; great-grandchildren, Ann Pike and Jessica Hill, both of Staley, and Brad Pike and his wife of Ramseur.

He was a native of Winston-Salem and a retired marine engine technician.

She was a native of Randolph County, the widow of Hampton Rochelle Poole, a retired real estate agent and a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.

Charles F. Fagg Jr.
TROY - Charles Franklin Fagg Jr., age 70, of 414 Bruton St., died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at Stanly Memorial Hospital, Albemarle.
Mr. Fagg was a native of Guilford County but lived in Randolph County, graduated from Asheboro High School in 1951 and moved to Troy 37 years ago and has worked with Montgomery Motors, Inc. since. He was in the National Guard for 18 years and retired as a Captain. He attended First Wesleyan Church and was a member of Asheboro Friends Meeting.
He is survived by his wife, Stella Kemp Fagg of the home; one daughter, Robin Kincaid and husband Kent of Winston-Salem; one son, Michael Fagg and wife Terry of Troy; grandson, John Kincaid, and granddaughters, Jennifer Kincaid and Amber Fagg; two brothers, Jack Fagg of Franklinville and Phillip Fagg of Asheboro.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy. The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at First Wesleyan Church, 1368 NC 134 North, Troy, with the Rev. Douglas W. Beadle officiating. Burial will be in First Wesleyan Church Cemetery.

She was a native of High Point, a member of White's Memorial Baptist Church and a former employee with Cohan Mills and Creative Sportswear.

DURHAM - Winfred James, 87, of Brockwell Road, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003.

He was a native of Oxford and the widower of Pauline Bland James.

Tommy R. Sizemore Sr.
PLEASANT GARDEN - Tommy Ray Sizemore Sr., 53, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, 2003, in the chapel of Forbis & Dick Funeral Home in Pleasant Garden. Interment will follow at Gilmore Memorial Park. Rev. Tommy Ray Sizemore Jr. and Rev. Wayne Taylor will officiate.
Mr. Sizemore was born in Guilford County on March 10, 1950. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was the owner of Sizemore's Heating & Air and a member of the Greensboro Builders Assoc. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Jamestown. Mr. Sizemore was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving Mr. Sizemore are his wife, Linda White Sizemore; sons, Tommy Ray Sizemore Jr. and wife Tammy, of Greensboro, W.C. "Chris" Sizemore and wife Jennifer, of Thomasville, Keith W. White of Greensboro; sister, Doris Holt of Randleman; brothers, Douglas A. Chaney of Gibsonville, John Holt of Randleman; beloved granddaughter, Taylor Sizemore.

ASHEBORO - Joseph William Robbins Jr., 87, of 400 Vision Drive, Asheboro, formerly of 482 N.C. 49 South, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, with Elder Ralph Gaines officiating. Burial will be in Tom's Creek Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
He was a Wilson County native and retired from Bossong Hosiery after 40 years of service. He was a member of Rock Hill Primitive Baptist Church where he was a deacon and treasurer for many years. He was the widower of Crissie Robbins.
Surviving are two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
