He was a native of Randolph County, a farmer and a lifetime member of Old Union United Methodist Church.
Surviving are wife, Alma S. Turner of Randleman; daughters, Lovier T. Stephens, Delores T. Robbins, both of Randleman, Brenda T. Lewis of Greenville, Artence T. Freeman of Wilmington; sister, Elizabeth T. Moore of Sophia; brother, Walter E. Turner of Petersburg, Va.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

She was a native of High Point, a homemaker and a graduate of High Point High School.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodlawn Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Pat Ray and the Rev. Todd T. Brock officiating. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
She was a native of Guilford County, a homemaker, widow of Rev. A. B. Asbill and a member of the Ladies Bible Class of the Sunday School at her church.
Surviving are son, James Madison Asbill of Longs, S.C.; daughters, Lois Cruthis of Archdale, Mary Ruth Ball of the home; sister, Helen Wood of Randleman; brother, James Shelton of Liberty; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Davidson County, the widow of Manley Clayton Daniel, attended Summerville Baptist Church and was a bookkeeper with Daniel Trucking, Raleigh.

She was a native of Hattiesburg, Miss., a graduate of Southern Mississippi University with a B.A. in music and a 1948 graduate of Michigan State University with a master's in Music Performance. She taught music in Mississippi, Michigan and North Carolina, was president of the Raleigh Piano Teachers' Association and played with the Boone Big Band, Boone.
Surviving are son, William H. Moeller of Castalia; daughters, Marilyn Jo Moeller of Denver, Colo., Carol E. Moeller of West End; two granddaughters.

DALLAS, TEXAS - Allie Lou Lassiter Geilich Gordon, 64, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1998.
Funeral service was noon Friday at Restland Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas.
She was a native of Randleman, attended Randleman schools, was a graduate of Randleman High School, attended Women's College (UNC-G) and was a graduate of the Duke University School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse, was previously employed with Duke University Medical Center as a psychiatric nurse as well as in Texas and North Carolina, and was employed with Doctor's Hospital, Dallas, Texas.
Surviving are husband, Ken Gordon; sons, Paul Geilich, Reid Geilich, Charles Gordon; daughter Michele; stepson, Scott Gordon; five grandchildren; one stepgrandson.

He was a native of Hoke County, the widower of Faye Cagle Baker, retired from the N.C. Department of Correction, a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church and he attended Covenant Christian Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of American Legion Post #45.

Dr. LeRoy Keenan Taul, 74, of 682 Inwood Road, Asheboro, died Monday, Sept. 7, 1998, at his home.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Dr. John S. Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
He was a graduate of the University of Georgia Veterinary School, where he taught for several years. He also taught at Auburn University Veterinary School, was a partner at Randolph Animal Hospital until he retired in 1988, was a deacon at his church and a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
Surviving are wife, Sara F. Taul; son, Dennis R. Taul of Apex; daughter, Lizabeth Miller of Asheboro; brother, Dallas M. Taul of Hardinsburg, Ky.; sister, Dorothy T. Shrewsbury of Hardinsburg, Ky.; four grandchildren.
