She was a native of Chatham County, a homemaker and was retired from Ramseur Interlock.

LIBERTY - Eunice Coley Bowman, 79, of 10526 N.C. 49 South, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Cool Springs Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. John Harmon officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Randolph County and a retired employee of Boling Chair Company, Liberty.
Surviving are sons, W.E. Bowman Jr. of Liberty, James Boyd Bowman of Asheboro; brother, Silas Coley of Franklinville; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

BEAR CREEK - Myrna Oldham Elkins, 85, of 6983 Pittsboro-Goldston Road, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, at Oakhaven Retirement Home, Sanford.

She was a homemaker.
