LIBERTY - Dorothy Curtis Fowler, 93, formerly of Liberty, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998, at Moses Cone Extended Care.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Bryan Fox officiating.
She was a native of Randolph County, a member of First United Methodist Church and a former music teacher.
Surviving are stepdaughter, Adele Linens of Graham; stepmother, Runa Greenleaf of Liberty; half sister, Mrs. Clay Fogleman of Liberty; half brother, John W. Curtis of Liberty.

ROBBINS - Thomas Theodore Ritter, 80, of 399 Smyrna Church Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998, at his home.

He was a native of Moore County and retired from Milliken Co. in Robbins.

ROBBINS - Arthur Mitchell Underwood, 71, of 268 Jim Road, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1998, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Ernest L. Johnson Jr. and the Rev. Bennie Maness officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
He was a native of Moore County, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, a former Sunday School superintendent and deacon, and was a retired Rural Letter Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service.
Surviving are wife, Elgie Williams Underwood; daughter, Sharon U. Mims of Julian; sons, Dallas M. Underwood of Randleman, Joel A. Underwood of Robbins; brother, Jacob A. Underwood of Sanford; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren.

She was a native of Rowland and a homemaker.

He was a native of Guilford County, an Environmental Technician for Randolph County Health Department, a member and Captain of the Civil Air Patrol and active in the Cadet program, was a CPR instructor at Randolph Community College, a part-time medical ranger at the N.C. Zoo. and set up and maintained the medical stations at the GGCC golf tournament.
Surviving are mother and stepfather, Agatha and Bob Klekotka of Kernersville; father and stepmother, Carlton Joseph Sr. and Janet Whitesell of Greensboro; sister, Tracy Lyn Whitesell of Reidsville; grandparents, Dean and Edith Goins of Greensboro.
