Funeral service will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Johnson City, Tenn., where she was a member, with the Rev. James W. Nipper officiating.
She was a native of Detroit, Mich., a member of the Women of ELCA, the ELCA Morning Circle, the Cover Girls Quilt Makers and on the newsletter staff. She was in the Altar Guild, a Vacation Bible School teacher, building committee secretary, Nursing Home visitor and Door Greeter, all at her church, and was a Salvation Army volunteer.
Surviving are husband, Raymond Collins of the home; daughter, Susan Barnhardt of Moorehead City; sons, Mike Collins of Raleigh, David Collins of Asheboro, Brian Collins, Keith Collins, both of Johnson City, Tenn.; sisters, Mary Swaney of Mt. Clemens, Mich., Jeannette Miailovich of Sonoma, Calif.; brothers, Delbert Anklam of Mt. Clemens, Mich., Wilbur Anklam of St. Clair Shores, Mich.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

He was a native of Rocky Mount, a graduate of East Carolina University, attended Wake Forest University, was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and an engineer with the U.S. Maritime Service for 29 years.
