Helen Marie Jordan, 57, Morehead City, died Saturday at Carteret General Hospital.
She was a member of Glad Tidings Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Her funeral was to be at 2 p.m. today at Munden Chapel with the Rev. Rob Pate and the Rev. Charles Smith officiating.
Burial was to follow in the Whitley Family Cemetery, Beaufort.
She is survived by five daughters, Venita Jean Parker, Carol "Sue" Hunt, Mary "Ann" Evans and Linda Gail Hunt, all of Morehead City, and Susan Jordan of Raleigh; a son, Donnie Forbes of Atlanta, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Marge Ramsey, 82; service to be later
Marge Ramsey, 82, of Morehead City, died Monday at Britthaven of Havelock.
Her funeral will be held at a later date.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia R. Ramsey of Morehead City; a son, Craig D. Ramsey of Sausalito, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Ramsey.

Charles Edward "Ed" Mumford, Sr., 75, of Kinston, died Monday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital, Kinston.
He was a retired sales representative with B and H Candy Company and a veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Gordon Street Christian Church.
A graveside service was to be at 11 a.m. today at Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Henry Van Kluyve officiating.
He is survived by a daughter, Janet Mumford Overby of Snow Hill; two sons, Charles Edwards Mumford, Jr. of Rocky Mounty and Jack Hardy Mumford of Beaufort; a sister, Doris Pipkin of Goldsboro; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Robert H. Ford, Sr., 80; service to be Thursday
Robert H. Ford, Sr., 80, of Graham, died Monday at his home.
Born in Jackson, Ga., he was a retired supervisor at Western Electric.
He was a member of the First Reformed United Church of Christ, Burlington, where he was an elder and deacon.
He was a member of the Oasis Shrine Temple and a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Ford was the father of Phyllis Ford, executive director of the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Reformed United Church of Christ with the Rev. Phillip Myers officiating.
Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Daphne V. Ford; two daughters, Betty Ford of Graham and M. Phyllis Ford of Pine Knoll Shores; a son, Robert Henry Ford, Jr. of Concord, Calif.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, C.J. "Red" Ford.

Owen Marcellis Thomas, 78; service was held Feb. 7
Owen "Butts" Marcellis Thomas, 78, of Shenandoah, Va., died Feb. 4, at Page Memorial Hospital.
A native of Shenandoah, Mr. Thomas was a member of Shenandoah Baptist Church and the Avis O. Comer VFW 8613.
Before retiring in 1983, he worked for Morton Frozen Foods.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.
His funeral was Sunday, Feb. 7, at Kyger Funeral Home, Shenandoah, with the Rev. Bob Stanley and the Rev. Hudson Nuckols officiating.
Burial followed in the Rest Haven Cemetery.
He is survived by a daughter, Anda M. Cook or Luray, Va.; a son, Amos G. Thomas of Hampton, Va.; four brothers, Harold Thomas of Waynesboro, Va., Bill Thomas of Front Royal, Va., Robert Thomas of Broadway, Va., and Joseph Thomas of Springfield, Va.; four sisters, Mary Lee Baysdon of Morehead City; Betty Parks and Sylvia May, both of Shenandoah, Va., and Rebecca Lawson of Indiana; and three grandchildren.

William Keith Smith, 44; service to be Thursday
William Keith Smith, 44, of Wilmington, died Tuesday at his home after a battle with cancer.
The son of Jan and Janet Smith of Newport, Mr. Smith was born at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point on Sept. 27, 1954.
He graduated from West Carteret High School in 1972 and was an honors graduate of Cape Fear Community College.
He was the general manager of the Wilmington branch of Mutual Distributing Company.
Mr. Smith was an active member of Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church, Wilmington, and had a deep faith in Jesus Christ.
His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Glasgow and the Rev. Bryan Slater officiating.
Burial will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Washam; two sons, Jason Lee Smith of Wilmington and Tracy Allen Smith of Wilson; his parents, Jan and Janet Smith of Newport; a brother, Donald Houston Smith of King; a sister, Vonne Smith Lankfod of Chesapeake, Va.; and a grandson, Tristin Allen Smith of Wilson.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Belinda Lee Smith and Edna Lynn Smith.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Rachel E. Gaskill, 37, of Cedar Island, died Monday at Carteret General Hospital.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sea Level Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Larry Martin and Rusty Willis officiating.
Ms. Gaskill was a graduate of East Carteret High School and was previously employed with Taylor Hospital and Extended Care Facility.
She is survived by her mother, Dianna Gaskill of Newport; her father, Russell W. Gaskill, Sr. of Cedar Island; a son, Benjamin Michael Gaskill of Cedar Island; a sister, Libby Goodwin and her husband, Phillip, of Sea Level; a brother, Rusty Gaskill; three nephews, Philip Goodwin, Andrew Goodwin and Duke Gaskill; and a niece, Audra Goodwin.
