Herbert Aeschbacher, 70; funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday
Herbert Aeschbacher, 70, of Swansboro, died Thursday at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern.
His funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Jones Funeral Home Chapel, Swansboro, with the Rev. Michael Ledbetter officiating.
Burial, with military honors, will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.
The family will receive friends today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Aeschbacher was a retired electrician, a member of IBEW Local 435 of Syracuse, N.Y., a member of VFW Post 9960; a member of the Marine Corps League, DAV N.C. No. 16, American Legion Post 0099 of Beaufort, Moose Lodge 1425 of Swansboro, and 40-8 Past Chief DeGar.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Aeschbacher of the home; five sons, Dale Aeschbacher of Cuyler, N.Y., David Aeschbacher of Manlius, N.Y., Michael Hegmann of Syracuse, N.Y., Ronald Hegmann of Charlotte, and Richard Hegmann of Gainesville, Fla.; two daughters, Darlene Petrie of Baldwinsville, N.Y., and Linda Aeschbacher of Cuyler, N.Y.; a brother, Dale Aeschbacher of Winner, S.D.; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

Cleo Kathleen Lloyd, 74; funeral will be in W.Va.
Cleo Kathleen Lloyd, 74, of Morehead City, died Thursday at Carteret General Hospital.
Services will be held in West Virginia.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Delp and Kathy Lloyd, both of Sutton, W.Va.; three sons, Doug Lloyd of Morehead City, and Chuck Lloyd of Heaters, W.Va., and Greg Lloyd of Flatwoods, W.Va.; a brother, Junior Cogar of Parkersburg, W.Va.; three sisters, Iris Higgins and Ann Cogar, both of Columbus, Ohio, and Mary Joe Nuzume of Belpre, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Home and Crematory of Morehead City.

Bonnie Tudor Baker, 76, of Emerald Isle, died Monday at home.
Services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her husband, Warren Leslie Baker; a brother, John Tudor of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and a sister, Patricia Stonechipher of Columbia, Ill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to UNC Hospitals, Division of GYN Oncology, c/o Susan Blalock/W.C. Fowler, 603 East Wing, 101 Manning Drive, Chapel Hill, N.C. 27514.

Olivia Mason Allen, 48; service was Tuesday
Olivia Mason Allen, 48, of Beaufort, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 6.
Her funeral was Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Beaufort, with the Rev. Jack Lee officiating.
Burial followed in Ocean View Cemetery.
Olivia was the eldest daughter of Ronald Earl and Joyce Lewis Mason of Beaufort, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Luther Lewis of Davis.
She was the beloved wife of Earnest Clayton Allen, Jr. and the mother of sons Earnest C. "Tres" Allen, III and wife, Jodi, and Ensign Ronald Earl Mason Allen.
She was the sister of Cynthia M. Thomas and Angelia E. Mason, both of Beaufort.
Arrangements were by Brooks Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. of Morehead City.

Annie Jeannette Hill, 76; service was today
Annie Jeannette Hill, 76, of New Bern, died Saturday at Britthaven of New Bern.
She was the sister of Mary Edell Masters of Newport.
Her funeral was to be at 2 p.m. today at New Bern Church of God, with the Rev. David Salmons officiating.
Burial was to follow in Greenleaf Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hill was an active member of the church.
She is survived by two daughters, Ernestine Clark of Grand Junction, Colo., and Regina Price of New Bern; two sons, Durwood Hill and Harvey Hill, both of New Bern; another sister, Dorothy Spence of Raleigh; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Cotten Funeral Home of New Bern.

Johnnie Willis, Sr., 71; service was Tuesday
Johnnie Willis, Sr., 71, of Salter Path, died Saturday at Craven Regional Medical Center, New Bern.
His funeral was Tuesday at Broad Creek Church of God, with the Rev. Allen Stocks and the Rev. Gordon Morris officiating.
Burial followed in the Gales Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Willis is survived by his wife, Josephine S. Willis; four daughters, Patsy Smith of Broad Creek, Christine Yates of Swansboro, Sue Dingess of Salter Path and Donna Lowery of Newport; two sons, Dennis Willis of Salter Path and Johnnie Willis, Jr. of Broad Creek; and seven grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Munden Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. of Morehead City.

Sylvia Willis Dillon, 67; service to be Thursday
Sylvia Willis Dillon, 67, of Morehead City, died Monday at Carteret General Hospital.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City, with the Rev. Jerry Lewis officiating.
Burial will be in Bayview Cemetery.
Mrs. Dillon is survived by three daughters, Ella Faye Hess of Stafford, Va., Pamela Dugan of Sterling, Va., and Phyllis Turner of Richmond, Va.; three sons, Glyn Worrock of Portsmouth, Va., Jessie Turner of Alexandria, Va., and Michael Turner or Suffolk, Va.; her mother, Ella Willis of Morehead City; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

James "Lee" Adams, 82; service to be Friday
James "Lee" Adams, 82, of Newport, died Tuesday at home.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m .Friday at St. James United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Susan Lindblade officiating.
Burial will be in Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Mr. Adams was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after 26 years of service.
He served during World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Newport Masonic Lodge 706, Scottish Rite and the Sudan Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Scoggins Adams; two sons, James Elwood Adams of Newport, and John Clayton "Jack" Adams of Carolina Pines; three stepsons, Bryan Scoggins and Dennis Scoggins, both of Marietta, Ga., and Thomas Scoggins of Powder Springs, Ga.; a sister, Betty Brosie of Zanesville, Ohio; a brother, Charles Edward Adams of Zanesville, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Margaret Tedder, 92; service to be Friday
Margaret McDonald Tedder, 92, of Cape Carteret, died Tuesday at Britthaven of Havelock.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Waxhaw Cemetery, Waxhaw, with the Rev. Charles Kirkpatrick and the Rev. John Gerstenmier officiating.
Mrs. Tedder, a native of Waxhaw, was the daughter of the late William Russell and Mary Sims McDonald.
She was a retired elementary school teacher, having taught in Union County.
She was a former member and elder of Waxhaw Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Tedder Fredeen of Cape Carteret; a son, Henry M. Tedder, Jr. of Chicago, Ill.; two grandsons, Les A. Fredeen and John M. Tedder; and a granddaughter, Kristine Tedder.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Miles Tedder.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Jones Funeral Home of Swansboro.
Memorial donations may be made to the Waxhaw Presbyterian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 39, Waxhaw, N.C. 28173.
