Leo Daniel Garner, 82, of Broad Creek, died Sunday at home.
A graveside service was to be at 11 a.m. today at Broad Creek Community Cemetery with the Rev. Alan Stocks officiating.
Mr. Garner is survived by a daughter, Barbara Jones of Broad Creek; a sister, Idel Mann of Newport; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Judy Pulliam, 44; service was today
Judy Pulliam, 44, of Beaufort, died Tuesday at Carteret General Hospital.
Her funeral was to be at 2 p.m. today at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rusty Willis officiating.
Burial was to follow in Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Mrs. Pulliam is survived by her husband, John Hartsough of Beaufort; two sons, Samuel Todd Pulliam of Atlantic Beach, and John W. Hartsough, III of Beaufort; her mother, Laverne Whitt Hughes of Burlington; two sisters, Ellen Hughes Boone of Burlington, and Stacie Hughes of Moyock; two brothers, Scott Hughes of Burlington and Kelly Hughes of Texas; and one grandchild.

Harvey L. Banks, 57; service to be Saturday
Retired Master Sgt. Harvey L. Banks, 57, of Havelock, died Thursday at Carteret General Hospital.
His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Fleet Reserve Association, Havelock.
Mr. Banks retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after 22 years of service.
He was a life member of the VFW.
He is survived by his wife, Janie E. Banks of Havelock; three daughters, Renee Elting and Michelle Reynolds, both of Oregon, and Denise Maskiewicz of Toulon, Ill.; two sons, Dwayne Banks and Timothy Mitchell, both of Oregon; a sister Elizabeth Tasios of Detroit, Mich.; and 13 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday following the service.

Roger Mills, 32; service was today
Roger Mills, 32, of Newport, died Friday.
His funeral was to be at 2 p.m. today at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Conner officiating.
Burial was to follow in Amariah Garner Cemetery, Newport.
Mr. Mills was a graduate of West Carteret High School and attended UNC-Wilmington.
He was the manager of Ionni's Restaurant for one and a half years and was presently employed aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point.
He is survived by his parents, Victor and Lilo Mills of Newport; a sister, Victoria Currie and husband David of Newport; a brother, Stephen Mills and wife Marda of Jacksonville; paternal grandmother, Margaret Mills of Newport; and two nieces, Ashley and Hannah Currie.

Shirley W. Pittman, 68; service was Tuesday
Shirley W. Pittman, 68, of South River, died Saturday at Craven Regional Medical Center, New Bern.
Her funeral was Tuesday at Edwards Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, South River, with the Rev. Paul Harris officiating.
Burial was in the Cannon Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Pittman was a health care assistant with Harborview Health Care Center for 28 years.
She was a member of Edwards Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and Eastern Star, Chapter 128, Beaufort.
She is survived by two daughters, Iva Marie Snyder and husband Lee of Raleigh, and Sandy Starnes of South River; a sister, Dorothy Cojocari of Havelock; two brothers, Charlie Wallace and William R. "Tinker" Wallace, both of South River; a half sister, Nancy Helms of Connecticut; eight grandchildren, Heather, Aaron and Casey Snyder, all of Raleigh, Mitchell Fulcher and wife Crystal of South river, Stacey Fulcher of Morehead City, and Stephen, Jeffrey and David Starnes, all of Newport; and a special friend, Don Doyle of Merrimon.
Mrs. Pittman was expecting her first great-grandchild in January.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivey Pittman.

Robert Lewis Rowe, 76, of Pine Knoll Shores, died Tuesday.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Ahoskie, with Dr. Jesse Croom officiating.
Mr. Rowe is survived by his wife, Lottie Rowe; two daughters, Rendy King and husband Winston of Kitty Hawk, and Freda Ballard and husband Tom of Kannapolis; a son, Robert Lewis Rowe, Jr. and wife Karen of Ahoskie; a stepdaughter, Jane Wilkinson and husband Dan of Rockwell; a stepson, Jim Harner and wife Nancy of Raleigh; a brother, William Mercer Rowe, Jr. of Wilmington; a sister, Lena Rowe Jackson of Winston-Salem; seven grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Richard Alan Yeager, 67; service to be Thursday
Richard Alan Yeager, 67, of Dudley, died Monday.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, Goldsboro, with the Rev. Johnny Sasser and Chaplain Lawrence Daughtry officiating.
Burial, with military honors, will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Yeager was a native of Beaufort County.
He was the son of the late Ernest E. Yeager and the late Evelyn Cole Yeager.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, VFW and the Moose Lodge.
He was a member of Emmaus Baptist Church, Dudley.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Block Yeager; a daughter, Lynn Yeager Salter and husband Frank of Beaufort; two sons, Richard Yeager and wife Michelle of Goffstown, N.H., and Raymond Yeager and wife Beth of Goldsboro; a sister, Esther Guthrie of Morehead City; two brothers, Ebenezer Yeager of Morehead City, and Robert O. Yeager of Fayetteville; eight grandchildren, Rebecca Waddell, Richard Weippert, Mikaela Allard, Brandon Yeager, Jessica Sabino, Ben Yeager, Marissa Yeager and Jonathan Yeager; and three great-grandchildren, Madison Allard, Meaghan Allard and Brianna Stephens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Seymour Funeral Home of Goldsboro and at other times, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Yeager, 108 Spring St., Goldsboro.
