Simmons
Fannie Mae White Simmons, 48, of Midway Park, died Friday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
She was the sister of Idella Taylor of Hubert.
Services were today (Wednesday) at First Baptist Church Georgetown in Jacksonville, with the Rev. James Brown officiating.
Burial followed at Georgetown Memorial Park.
Other survivors include her husband, Charlie Simmons; her father, Gary Lee White of New York; her mother, Ruth M. White of Midway Park; four daughters, Glorlene White of Portsmont, Va., Tonilene Ward and Aisha Brown, both of Jacksonville and Amy F. White of Fort Lee, Va.; two brothers, Roy White and Frankie White, both of Jacksonville; two other sisters, Mary Jones of New York, N.Y., and Arlene McCarter of Jacksonville; and her grandmother, Everlene Ruffin of Midway Park.

Brownley
Robert Foy "Snookie" Brownley, Sr., 50, of Hubert, died Sunday in Wilmington.
Services will take place Thursday at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Methodist Church with the Rev. Andy R. Brownley and the Rev. Roy Wayne officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Brownley of Hubert; a son, Robert Brownley, Jr. of Wilmington; two daughters, Tabitha Brownley and Tamera Howell, both of Ohio; a granddaughter, Kayla Moore of Ohio; a grandson, Logan Howell of Ohio; his mother, Lena Brownley of Hubert; three brothers, Tommy Brownley of Hubert, Andy Brownley of Georgia and Leonard Brownley of Bear Creek; a sister, Judy Cannon of Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Kim Brownley of Wilmington; his mother-in-law, Ruby Wilson of Hubert; and extended family and many, many loving friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight (Wednesday) at Jones Funeral Home in Swansboro.

Hubert
Paul Louis Hubert, 38, of Swansboro, died Sunday in Havelock.
No services are planned.
Survivors include two daughters, Ariana Hubert Saunders and Olivia Hubert Saunders, both of Newport; his mother, Carol Hubert of Newport; three brothers, Thomas J. Hubert of Evansdale, Iowa, Bryan Keith Hubert of Newport and David L. Hubert of Coronado, Calif.; and his maternal grandmother, Florence Williams of Newport.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Miles
Robert "Bob" Waldo Miles, 68, of Maysville, died Sunday at his home.
He was the father of Robert "Bob" W. Miles, Jr. of Hubert.
Services will take place Thursday at 11 a.m. at Sayland Funeral Home in Maysville, with the Rev. Joseph C. Parker officiating.
Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
A native of Middlesex, Vt., he was an Army veteran and a retired carpenter.
Other survivors include his wife, Marion Barclay Miles; a daughter, Marjorie A. Parker of Jacksonville; a sister, Barbara Alexander of Burbank, Calif.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight (Wednesday) from 7:30 to 9 at the funeral home.

Lucille Gore Brown, 77, of Warsaw, died Saturday at Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville.
She was the sister of Eloise Lanier of Hubert, and Annie Grace Futrell and Angeline Collins, both of Swansboro.
Services were Monday at the Padgett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Farrell Miller officiating.
Burial followed at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw.
She was a native of Duplin County and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Other survivors include her husband, Henry Brown of the home; two daughters, Henrietta Baxter of Rose Hill and Jane Pridgen of Warsaw; one brother, Ray Gore of Warsaw; and seven grandchildren.

Juanita Huffman Stanley, 85, of Swansboro, died Saturday at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
Services were Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home in Swansboro, with the Rev. Chris Driggs officiating.
Burial followed at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Charles Douglas Stanley of Swansboro; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Sullivan Stanley of Wilmington; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Robert James Barrowman, 62, of Cape Carteret, died Friday at his home.

He was a member of Cape Carteret Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joann L. Barrowman of the home; three sons, Kevin Barrowman of St. Augustine, Fla., and Edward Barrowman and Charles Barrowman, both of Cape Carteret; two daughters, Roberta Layne of Mooresburg, Tenn., and Rebecca Riggs of Coeburn, Va.; a brother, David Barrowman of Winston-Salem; a sister, Virginia B. Adkins of Coeburn; his mother, Ruby R. Barrowman of Coeburn; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Carol L. Clark, 53, of Bogue, died Friday at Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City.
Services were Sunday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City, with the Rev. Dr. Randy Outland officiating.

Survivors include her husband, James Clark of the home; two sons, Jim Clark of Newport and John Clark of Bogue; her mother, Agnes Heers of Almon, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.

Frank Robert Laird, 69, of Hubert, died Monday at his home.
