Timothy P. "Timmy" McGraw, 24, of Morehead City, died Sept. 20 at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
He was the son of Deborah McGraw of Hubert.
Services were Sunday at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City, with the Rev. Peter Minks officiating.
Burial followed at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Other survivors include his wife, Michai "Miki" McGraw of Morehead City; a daughter, Danielle Li-Bat Boaz McGraw of Morehead City; his father, Jim McGraw of Newport; a sister, Melonie King of Morehead City; two brothers, Jimmy McGraw, II of Morehead City, and Michael McGraw of Wilmington; his paternal grandmother, Mary McGraw of Beaufort; and his maternal grandfather, Howard Hunnings of East Point, Fla.

Robert Lee Phillips, 59, of Swansboro, died Tuesday at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern.

Lyons
Arther Lyons, Jr., 74, of Hubert, died Saturday at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be handled by Grise Funeral Home in Chicopee, Mass.
He was a retired postal worker, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans and a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Lyons, his father, Arther B. Lyons, and his mother, Kathryn Bagley.
Survivors include two daughters, Louise King of Chicopee and Katherine Brown of Jacksonville; two sons, David Lyons of Hubert, and Arther B. Lyons, III of South Hadley, Mass.; and five grandchildren.

Smallwood
John D. Smallwood, Sr., 68, of the Bear Creek Community in Hubert, died Saturday, Oct. 30 at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
Services were Tuesday at Bear Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Terry Golden, Robert Hall and Vernon Denning officiating.
Burial followed with full military honors at Seaside Memorial Park.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served with the Marine Corps.
He later retired from civil Service at Camp Lejeune.
Survivors include Retha Bell Smallwood; four sons, John D. Smallwood, Jr. of Bear Creek, James Nelson Smallwood of Bogue, Alvin Ray Smallwood of Bear Creek and Gary "Tootie" Smallwood of Bear Creek; five stepchildren, William Bell of Currie, Ebin Bell of Wilmington, Gloria Cribb of Wilmington, Teresa Brown of Hubert, and Helen Dawson of Kinston; three brothers, Lawrence Edward Smallwood, Venus Lee Smallwood and Scotty Smallwood, Jr., all of Bear Creek; five sisters, Velma Kathrine Thomas of Destin, Fla., Pearl Madelin Gillette of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., Geraldine Phillips and Ruby Jean Phillips, both of Swansboro, and Irene Gibson of Betsy Lane, Ky.; two grandchildren; Sedena Gatlin and Gary Baline Smallwood, Jr., both of Hubert; nine step-grandchildren, Johnny Alvarez, Allen Ipock, April Cribb, Brandi Cribb, Iris Rosenburger, Patrick Bell, Angie Bell, Stephanie Welk and Samantha Welk; seven step-great-grandchildren, Coral Mills, McKaitlyn Ipock, Travis Archer, Katie Rosenburger, Joey Rosenburger, Ryan Bell and Woody Bell; many nieces and nephews, in-laws, friends and his best buddy, "Lucky."

Donald "Pete" Walston, Jr., 45, of Cedar Point, died Thursday at his home.
Services were Sunday at Chapel By The Sea in Emerald Isle.
Burial followed at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Verda M. Walston.
Survivors include his parents, Donald and Patsy Walston of Cedar Point; two brothers, William Michael Walston of Stella, and Randy Feagle of Beaufort; and one sister, Marti Feagle of Cape Carteret.

Kathy Ann Willis, 36, of Hubert, died Thursday at Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City.
Services were Sunday at Bear Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Golden officiating.
Burial followed at Matthews-Reed Cemetery in Bear Creek.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Annie C. and Doug Walston of Hubert; two sisters, Sandy Gurganus of Jacksonville, and Brenda Zuccaro of Lynchburg, Tenn.; and a brother, W. Jerry Willis of Hubert.

Bland
Marie Buffum Bland, 73, of Atlantic Beach, died Oct. 27 at Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City.
She was the mother of Samuel S. Bland of Emerald Isle.
Services were Friday at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church with the Rev. King Cole officiating.
Other survivors include her husband, Milton E. Bland; two daughters, Nancy Ebert of Salisbury, Md., and Patricia Bland of Beaufort; three other sons, George S. Bland of Wilmington, Milton E. Bland, Jr. of Simpson and Richard K. Bland of Brevard; and 10 grandchildren.

Gray
Harvey Lewis Gray, 100, of Swansboro, died Oct. 27 at Cedar Point Medical Center in Swansboro.
Services were Sunday at Johnson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, with the Rev. James McLean officiating.
Burial followed at Onslow Memorial Park in Jacksonville, with military graveside honors.
Gray was recently honored by the National Order of the Legion of Honor, France's highest honor, for serving alongside of French soldiers in World War I.
He was also in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Margaret Gray, and a son, Harvey Edward Gray.
Survivors include a son, John J. Gray of Madison, Ohio; a daughter, Mary Margaret Gray Moore of Wellesley, Mass.; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
