Parker
Perry Hardison Parker, Sr., 63, of Maysville, died Saturday at his home.
He was the father of Susan Leigh Parker of Hubert.
Memorial services took place Monday at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Walter Ketchum and Joe Haas officiating.
Other survivors include his wife, Christine Morton Parker of the home; three other daughters, Gloria Parker Baker of Beulaville, Lydia Parker Monette of Cove City and Mary Magalena O'Donnell of Jacksonville; three sons, Wilbur Lee Parker and Perry Hardison Parker, Jr., both of Jacksonville, and Bobby Joe Parker of Belgrade; two sisters, Ruby Jones of Ft. Barnwell, and Vidalia Futrell of Jacksonville; five brothers, Roy C. Parker and Jerry Parker, both of Maysville, Jacob Parker of Columbia, John Parker of Jacksonville, and Jesse Parker of Elizabeth City; and six grandchildren.

Krahenbuhl
Kathryn Louise Krahenbuhl, 83, of Ray City, Ga., and formerly of Swansboro, died Thursday at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Ga.
Services were Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Swansboro, with the Rev. Mike Wilkinson officiating.
Burial followed at Seaside Memorial Park in Swansboro.
Krahenbuhl served in the United States Marine Corps.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Swansboro, where she was also a member of the Joy Group.
She was currently a member of First Baptist Church of Ray City.
She was a member of the Ray City Senior Citizen Group and a member of the South Georgia Class Car Club in Valdosta.
She was a former member of the Friends of Swansboro Library, and was a librarian at the Swansboro Public Library.
Survivors include four daughters, Dawn Fitts of Greenville, Fair Eason of Ray City, Judy Aitken of Durham, and Kathryn Kirschmann of Durham; a sister, June Christianson of Bloomer, Wis.; and six grandchildren.

Persaud
Khemraj Persaud, Jr., infant son of Khemraj and Virginia Persaud, Sr. of Hubert, died Thursday at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services were Tuesday at Onslow Memorial Park.
Other survivors include two brothers, Warren and Ryan Persaud, both of the home.

Tate
Gerald William Tate, 46, of Beaufort, S.C., died Thursday at his home.
He was the grandson of Richard Moreland of Hubert.
Services were Monday at Community Bible Church in Beaufort, S.C.
Burial followed at Beaufort National Cemetery.
He served in the U.S. Army with the 101st Airborne Division in Kentucky.
He was previously employed with Brays Island Plantation.
He was a member of Community Bible Church.
Other survivors include his wife, Esther Fannin White Tate of Beaufort, S.C.; a daughter, Melissa T. Bauer of Crystal Falls, Mich.; two sons, Alex Tate and Keegan Tate, both of Seattle; his parents, Charles and Rose Pettigrew of Beaufort, S.C.; four brothers, Merrill Tate, Kenneth Tate and Richard Tate, all of Beaufort, S.C., and Ronnie Tate of Sistersville, W.Va.; one sister, Mary T. Holley of Beaufort, S.C.; and two grandchildren.

Downs
Maurice Wesley Downs, 76, of Fayetteville, died Nov. 29 at Heritage Suites.
He was the brother of Samuel M. Downs of Emerald Isle.
A memorial service took place Friday at St. James Lutheran Church in Fayetteville, with the Rev. Louise Hilbert officiating.
He wass the city clerk of Fayetteville, for 32 years and a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Other survivors include his wife, Beverly D. Downs of the home; two sons, Terry L. Downs and Ray Downs, both of Fayetteville; another brother, Lawrence R. Downs of Jacksonville; and two grandchildren.

Cannon
Michael Richard Cannon, 18, of Hubert, died Nov. 28 at Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital.
Services were Saturday at Jones Funeral Home in Swansboro, with the Rev. Rudolph Outlaw officiating.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Roy and Lori Cannon of Hubert; his mother and stepfather, Darlene Riggs and James Matt of Hubert; another stepmother, Nancy Owens of Swansboro; five sisters, Tiffany Riggs, Tina Riggs and Emily Cannon, all of Hubert, and Niles Turner and Crystal Turner, both of Emerald Isle; his maternal grandmother, Bertie Thurlo of Hubert; and his paternal grandfather, Royal Cannon, Sr. of Hubert.

Willis
Johnny B. Willis, 57, of Emerald Isle, died Sunday at Carteret General Hospital.
Services were today (Wednesday) at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City, with the Rev. Clay Olson officiating.
Burial followed at Seaside Memorial Park in Swansboro.
He retired from the Air Force after 23 years of service and from Civil Service at Cherry Point, after 10 years.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Diana D. Willis of Emerald Isle; two sons, Douglass Earl Willis of Goldsboro and John Scott Willis of Kinston; his mother, Irene Nelson Dixon of Emerald Isle; his father, Earl D. Dixon of Emerald Isle; and three grandchildren.

Tripp
Robert Edward Tripp, 85, of Dunn died Saturday at Sunnybrook Health Care in Raleigh.
He was the father of Edith Holcomb of Swansboro.
Services were Tuesday at Lee's Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with the Revs. Randy Beasley and Hubert Morgan officiating.
Burial followed at Devotional Gardens.
He was a graduate of Dunn High School and a U.S. Army National Guard Veteran.
He was also a retired farmer and a retired employee of Burlington Industries.
Other survivors include his wife, Vennie Moore Tripp of the home; a son, Charles E. Tripp of Coats; three other daughters, Gerry Hicks of Pine Knoll Shores, Delores Teel of Raleigh, and Pam Stoops of Dunn; two brothers, Moses Tripp, Jr. of Dunn, and Leonard Tripp of Shoals, Ind.; a sister, Jessie Tripp of Dunn; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Ennett
Andrew Dulaney Ennett, Jr., 81, of Cedar Point died Friday at his home.
Services were Monday, at Swansboro United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ray Broadwell officiating.
Burial followed at the Ennett Family Cemetery in Cedar Point.
Mr. Ennett was born in Morehead City on April 3, 1919.
A graduate of North Carolina State College with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, during World War II, he worked for Grumman Aircraft Corporation on Long Island, N.Y.
He subsequently returned to Swansboro, and began working at Cherry Point.
He retired several years ago as the Superintendent of Engineering at the Naval Air Rework Facility in Cherry Point.
He was a member of the Swansboro Town Board of Commissioners for more than 20 years and a founder and original member of the Cedar Point Town Board of Commissioners.
He was an active member of the Swansboro United Methodist Church and had served on various administrative boards.
He previously served on the Board of Directors for First Citizens Bank and Trust Company in Swansboro, and Onslow County Airport Commission.
Mr. Ennett was preceded in death by his father, Andrew D. Ennett, Sr., his mother, Pearl Langdale Ennett, and two brothers, Bill Ennett and Tommy Ennett.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy R. Ennett of the home; a son, Andy Ennett and his wife, Jeannie of Swansboro; a daughter, Andrea Wilmoth and her husband, Randy of Cedar Point; a sister, Margaret Hurst of Swansboro; and two grandchildren; Ryan Wilmoth and Alison Ennett.
