Davis
William Anderson "Junior" Davis, Jr., 75, of Rose Hill, died Jan. 9 at Mary Gran Nursing Center.
He was the brother of Peggy Lee-Handley of Hubert.
Services were Friday at Evergreen Baptist Church with the Revs. Billy Todd and Duane Caldwell officiating.
Burial followed at the church cemetery.
He was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church and a transport driver with Mental Health.
Other survivors include two daughters, Laura Sue Lowry of Pembroke and Carolyn Shannon of Laurens, S.C.; a son, David Daniel Davis of Delway; another sister, Helen Sutton of Indianapolis; a brother, Franklin D. "Bill" Davis of Rose Hill; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Figaro
Alice D. Figaro, 64, of Swansboro, died Jan. 9 at Carteret General Hospital.
Services were Monday at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Long Branch, N.J.
Survivors include her husband, William S. Figaro of Swansboro; two sons, William B. Figaro of Salem, Va., and Scott D. Figaro of New Bern; two brothers, William Haskins of Brick Town, N.J., and John Haskins of Asbury Park, N.J.; two sisters, Rita Murphy of Brick Town and Trudy Sintic of Oakhurst, N.J.; and eight grandchildren.

Antoinette Irene Lasco, 58, of Jacksonville, died Jan. 9 at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
She was the mother of Randy Johnson of Hubert.
Services were Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Other survivors include her husband, Stanley Beattie of the home; two daughters, Wanda Daniels of Denison, Texas, and April Daniels of Sherman, Texas; a brother, Marvin Daniels of Michigan; three sisters, Sylvia Vanwickel of Richlands, Josephine LaJeunesse of Norfolk, Va., and Sandra Potter of Michigan; and five grandchildren.

Moss
William C. Moss Sr., 84, of Emerald Isle, died Jan. 9 at Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City.
A memorial service took place Thursday at Emerald Isle Chapel by the Sea.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He owned and operated Moss' Ladies Shop.
He was a member of First Christian Church and Elks BPOE in Wilson, and served on the Arts Council in Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Moore Moss of Emerald Isle; a daughter, Margaret Moss Boles of Greenville; two sons, William Cobb Moss JR. of Beaufort and Benjamin B. Moss of Cape Carteret; and two grandchildren.

Stephen and Jonathan Mehan; service was private
Infant twins Stephen Reid Mehan and Jonathan Henry Mehan of Newport, died Sunday at Carteret General Hospital.
A private family service was held Tuesday at Gethsemane Memorial Park with the Rev. David Banks officiating.
The children are survived by their parents, Mark and Mary Ann Mehan; maternal grandmother, Mary Adams of Broad Creek; and paternal grandparents, Harold and Carol Mehan of Newport.
Arrangements were by Munden Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. of Morehead City.

Eleanor Alice Hinds, 72; service will be Monday
Eleanor Alice Hinds, 72, of Newport, died Wednesday at Carteret General Hospital.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Jones Funeral Home Chapel, Swansboro, with the Rev. Donald Baribeau officiating.
Burial will follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hinds is survived by her husband, Albert Hinds; a daughter, Jean Kaufmann and husband, Pete, of Freehold, N.J.; four stepdaughters, Louise Hinds of Cleveland, Ohio, Eva Hinds of Toms River, N.J., June Hinds of Colorado and Joyce Hinds of Union City,Calif.; a sister, Tess Humphres of Sheffield, Ala.; a brother, George Petrusky of Matawan, N.J.; 23 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Jones Funeral Home of Swansboro.

Minda Zukowski, 51, of Emerald Isle, died Tuesday at Carteret General Hospital.
Services will take place Friday at 3 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Swansboro, with the Rev. Walter Conger officiating.
Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial park in Swansboro.
She was an assembler at MSA in Jacksonville.
Survivors include her husband, Phil Zukowski of the home; and a son, Anthony "A.J." Roberts of Loveland, Colo.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
