ED C. COLEMAN
LENOIR - Ed Cobb Coleman, 83, of Old North Road, died July 25, 2000, at Caldwell County Hospice.
Born May 29, 1917, in Caldwell County, he was a son of the late Robert L. and Annie Henley Coleman.
A Baptist, he retired from the furniture industry and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anomi McNeil Coleman; and four brothers, Nelson Henley, John Coleman, Henley Coleman and Coolidge Coleman.
Survivors include a brother, Frank Coleman of Sweeney, Texas; and a number of nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Kevin Broyhill at 11 a.m. today in Coleman Cemetery.
The family will be at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. today.

LENOIR - Debra Marlene Dula, 47, of North Anderson Street in Morganton, died July 23, 2000, at her residence.
Born Dec. 13, 1952, in Burke County, she was a daughter of Harlen E. and Pearl Smith Dula Sr. of Lenoir.
A member of Union Grove Baptist Church, she was employed by Kimble Glass.
Survivors, in addition to her parents, include a brother, Harlen Edward Dula, Jr. of Morganton; and a niece, Donna Renee Dula of Morganton.
A graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Mark Poe at 2 p.m. today in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

CLARENCE F. KELLER
GRANITE FALLS - Clarence Franklin Keller, 66, of Driftwood Drive, died July 26, 2000, at Caldwell County Hospice.
Born April 28, 1934, in Caldwell County, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Jane Emily Holman Keller.
A member of Poovey's Grove Baptist Church, he retired as a custodian from Granite Falls Middle School.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Garrett and Marie Brooks.
Survivors include his wife, Mable S. Keller; a son and daughter-in-law, Perry and Tina Keller of Hildebran; a daughter and son-in-law, Regenia and Douglas Miller of Dudley Shoals; a brother, Lloyd Junior Keller of Granite Falls; a sister, Estelle Keller of Granite Falls; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted by the Revs. Roger Mercer and Jim Robbins at 2 p.m. Friday at his church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

CAROLE A. PRITCHARD
MORGANTON - Carole Annette “Sissy” Pritchard, 32, of Sundown Road, died July 24, 2000, at Grace Hospital.
Born Sept. 9, 1967, in Burke County, she was a daughter of Howard W. Pritchard of Morganton and the late Fredia Caroline White Pritchard.
A member of McDowell Independent Presbyterian Church, she was an employee of Kathy Rest Home. A supporter of the Gleaning for the Hungry Program, she served as a softball coach for the Glen Alpine Recreation Department for 15 years.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Bryan Mode.
Survivors, in addition to her father, include a brother, Howard Douglas Pritchard of Kannapolis; a sister, Christy Mode of Morganton; a nephew; a niece; and a number of uncles, aunts and cousins.
The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Paul White at 3 p.m. Friday at her church.
The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

WILMA M. SIGMON
LINCOLNTON - Wilma Dora Mae Sigmon, 88, of Wilma Sigmon Road, died July 25, 2000, at Brian Center in Lincolnton.
Born Oct. 27, 1911, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Anna Smith Sigmon.
A member of Boger City Baptist Church, she was a self-employed farmer.
Survivors include a sister, Edna Crouse of Lincolnton; and a number of nephews and nieces.
The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. David Carter at 2 p.m. today at E.F. Drum Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

COZETTE L. KENNEDY
NEWTON - Cozette Linebarger Kennedy, of Hudson Chapel Road in Catawba, died July 26, 2000, at Catawba Memorial Hospital.
Born May 5, 1911, in Catawba County, she was a daughter of the late Wade and Sarah McCombs Linebarger.
A member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, she retired from Broyhill Furniture. She also was a member of Court 14 Heroines of Jericho and Martha Chapter 11 Order of the Eastern Star of Catawba.
She was preceded in death by a son, Clifford Linebarger; five brothers, Glenn Linebarger, George Linebarger, John Q. Linebarger, Calvin Linebarger and Waddell Linebarger; and six sisters, Bretie Connor, Annie Mundey, Mandy Brown, Agnes Linebarger, Cordell Linebarger and Margaiet Linebarger.
Survivors include her husband, Prince Harold Kennedy; a son, Artis F. Linebarger of Newton; two daughters, Sadie L. Gibbs and Alma “Peggy” Linebarger of Catawba; an adopted daughter, Lois Daniels of Newton; a brother, James L. Linebarger of Newton; three sisters, Ethel L. Brice, Marie L. Davis and Margie Linebarger of Catawba; a foster sister, Louise McIntyre of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 23 grandchildren; 34 great- grandchildren; and nine great-great- grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Rodney Stevenson and Pastor Reuben Linebarger at 3 p.m. Saturday at her church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Tracy A. Tuttle, 25, of Newton, N.C., died July 24, 2000, at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, N.C.
Born Nov. 1, 1974, in Louisville, she was a daughter of the Rev. Lonnie D. and Jeanetta Overbay Tuttle of Newton, N.C.
A member of the Faith Baptist Church in Newton, N.C., she was an emergency room technician.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, James “Jim” Millard Overbay; and her paternal grandparents, Jack and Mary Tuttle.
Survivors, in addition to her parents, include two brothers and a sister-in-law, Randall Dwaine Tuttle of Conover, N.C., and Doyle L. and Theresa Tuttle of Claremont, N.C.; a grandmother, Charity Setser Overbay of Cannon; a niece, Holly Denise Tuttle of Claremont, N.C.; and a number of uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted by the Revs. Vernon Morris and Brian Hacker at 11 a.m. today at Hopper Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Sizemore Cemetery.

STONY POINT - Eli Murphy Mitchell, 84, of Daniels Ridge Road in Taylorsville, died July 27, 2000, at Alexander Community Hospital after a period of declining health.
Born Oct. 10, 1915, in Alexander County, he was a son of the late Marvin and Lizzie Kerley Mitchell.
He was a member of Mount Hebron Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Herman Mitchell, Henry Mitchell and Clifford Mitchell; and a sister, Rosa Mitchell.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Davidson Mitchell; a brother, Edgar Mitchell of Lincolnton; and a number of nephews and nieces.
The funeral will be conducted by the Revs. Tim Smith, Al Smith and Perry Link at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at his church.

Inez White Williams, 70, of Forty- seventh Avenue Place, NE, died July 25, 2000, at Frye Regional Medical Center.
Born April 19, 1930, in Alexander County, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Kate Reid White.
A member of Springs Road Baptist Church, she retired from Centel.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Alan White; and two brothers, Fred Wilkie and Maurice Wilkie.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gary L. and Pamela Watts of Taylorsville; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy W. and Charles Poole of Taylorsville; two brothers, Perry White and Paul White of Bethlehem; a sister, Ruth Johnson of Hickory; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
