Fuquay-Varina - Ray Behm, age 77, passed away at home on Thursday, November 6, 2014, shortly after being diagnosed with cancer.
He was born and raised in Cleveland, OH, was a 35 year resident of Media (Upper Providence) PA and currently resided in Fuquay-Varina, NC.
His working career was in the air cargo industry with Flying Tigers which was later bought by Federal Express.
After retirement he drove a school bus for Rose Tree Media School District for several years.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Sandy; son and daughter-in-law, Cliff and Taylor Behm; and grandson, Conor.
He is also survived by 2 sisters; a brother; 2 sister-in-laws; 2 brother-in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by son, Douglas Behm.
MaryJane Margaux Honeycutt

MaryJane Margaux Honeycutt of Willow Spring, NC, passed away peacefully in her parents arms on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at her home.
She was born in Raleigh, NC, on her “Mimi’s” birthday, May 19, 2011.
MaryJane is survived by her parents, Steve and Mary Katherine Talley Honeycutt.
Also her grandparents, Arthur Ray Talley and Jerry and Judy Honeycutt, all of Fuquay-Varina, NC; her aunts, Wendy Talley of Cornelius, NC, and Harriett Lacey and husband Tom, cousins Celia Grace and Silas Arthur Lacey, all of East Falmouth, MA; and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, “Mimi”, Jane Alphin Talley.
MaryJane was a beautiful child who, despite her challenges, enjoyed life to its fullest.
Her biggest love was music and playing on the floor with anyone willing.
She was so full of love and laughter and will be missed by so many.
The family is deeply grateful for the incredible support of the doctors, nurses, therapists and caregivers of MaryJane.
The family will receive all friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturday at the home of Jerry and Judy Honeycutt, 105 Braewynds Ln. (Crofts of Brackenridge), Holly Springs.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2:00 p.m., at Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, 401 N. Ennis St., Fuquay-Varina, NC.

Gary Bennett Griffin, Jr.
Gary Bennett Griffin, Jr., age 44, passed away on January 8, 2013 at Mission Hospital – Memorial Campus.
A native of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, he was raised and lived most of his life in Wake County.
He resided in Haywood County from 1995 – 1998 and since 2008.
He was the son of Mary Brown Griffin of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina and Gary Griffin, Sr., and his wife, Doris, of Sylva.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his fraternal grandfather.
Gary was employed with Tyco Corporation and was a member of High Street Baptist Church.
He worked most of his life in the lumber industry, was past minister at Laurel Grove Baptist Church and served as an interim pastor as the need arose.
Gary loved fishing and hunting and was dedicated to his family and devoted to his Christian faith.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Ginger Griffin; a daughter, Holly Griffin; a son, Colin Griffin, both of the home; grandmother, Bea Griffin of Canton; a brother, Michael Griffin and his wife, Sabrina, of Garner, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Penny Stephens of Clayton, North Carolina; mother and father in-law, Joe and Phyllis Stephens of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; and a grandson, Holton Griffin.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at High Street Baptist Church with the Reverend Chris Willett officiating.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2:15 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Eleanor Tilley Busick

Fuquay-Varina – Eleanor Tilley Busick, 84, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012.
Eleanor was born in Fuquay Springs on May 29, 1927.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvah H. and Ola B. Tilley, and her beloved husband of 49 years, Alexander Busick.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, A Horace Tilley and Philip B. Tilley; sister, Carolyn Tilley Owens; and nephew, Robert Tilley.
She is survived by a sister, Faye Tilley of the home; son, Karl Busick and wife, Judy of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Patricia Busick of Fuquay-Varina and Karen Busick Halsey and husband, Josh of Raleigh, NC; as well as nieces and nephews, Phyllis Tilley, Kathy Shaffer, Julie Tilley, Michael Owens, Sunny Owens, and Danny Owens and special friend, Patricia Wagstaff.
Eleanor was born and raised in Fuquay, and graduated from Fuquay Springs High School in 1944.
After attending business school, she worked for the Alumni Office of North Carolina State University prior to becoming Town Clerk of Fuquay-Varina, a position she held for twenty years.
Alex and Eleanor moved to North Wilkesboro, NC in 1968.
During the almost thirty years they lived there, Eleanor and Alex enjoyed golfing together.
She also indulged her love of reading and gardening as a member of the local ladies' book and garden clubs.
In 1996, Alex and Eleanor moved back to Fuquay-Varina to be closer to her family.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to long time caregivers Bonnie McEachin and Daisy McKinnon, as well as the staff and volunteers of Hospice of Wake County.

On Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., Dr. Charles Dorman will officiate at a memorial service celebrating Eleanor's life at Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, 401 N. Ennis Street, Fuquay-Varina, NC.
Visitation with the family will immediately follow the service.
Burial will be private at Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
