William Francis Holdsworth
William Francis Holdsworth, 85, of Youngsville, died January 26, 2007. He was born May 13, 1921, the son of William Roland and Germaine Robert Holdsworth in St. Nazaire, France. He moved to New Jersey in 1923 and grew up in Elizabeth and New Brunswick.
He raised his family with his late wife, Shirley C. Covert, in Piscataway, N.J. He was a founder of the Piscataway Little League; a past member of the Boy Scouts of America; a past member and president of the Kilmer Lion’s Club and a member and president of the
Piscataway Republican Social Club. He retired as Vice President of Accounting and Taxation after 47 years of employment with the Personal Products Division of Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals. He served part time as a tax assessor for Piscataway. He had resided in Lake Aerial, Pa., Gainsville, Fla., and Youngsville.
Survivors include his brother, Ralph Holdsworth, Arlington, Va; his daughter, Sherian B. Epstein, Youngsville; son, William W. Holdsworth, Gainsville, Fla.; daughter, Renee E. Bennett, Kittrell; son, Brian J. Holdsworth, Stewartsville, N.J. and daughter, MaryBeth Herrmann, Morganton. Additionally, he is survived by 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, his sister-in-law, Rose Holdsworth, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, John Holdsworth; sister, Germaine Holdsworth and one infant grandchild, James Herrmann.
A Mass of Resurrection was held at 10:00 AM Wednesday morning, January 31, 2007, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Wake Forest, with Father John Parish officiating.

Julia Virginia Williams Bell
Julia Virginia Williams Bell, 80, of 809 Louisburg Road, Wake Forest, died Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at her home. She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Viola Wall Williams and Claude Williams and was a member of New Life Church in Rolesville. Mrs. Bell was retired from Hudson Belk Department Stores.
A private burial will be held in the Williams Family Cemetery at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil L. Bell; god-children, Daniel and Kimberly Rose, both of Wake Forest; sisters, Clarine Hodge of Wake Forest, Marie Nunnery of Stedman and Linnette Brisson of Rolesville; 14 nieces and nephews, Clarence Williams, Lois Denton, Jessie W. Cordeau, Carolyn W. Pendleton, Judy H. Lockleair, Roy Williams, David Hodge, Nelda H. Rose, Faye H. Laxton, Ron Brisson, Brenda B. Gillum, Denise N. Tanner, Steve Nunnery and Rose B. Williams; 27 great-nieces and great-nephews and 24 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by a foster daughter, Sue Pulley; brothers, Emerson Williams and Jessie Vernon Williams; and by a nephew, Jimmy Darrell Hodge.

Grace Arena Bonderer Busam
Grace Arena Bonderer Busam of Wake Forest departed this life on January 25, 2007. She was born in Trenton, Mo., on December 31, 1931, the daughter of Herman and Winnie Bonderer.
She graduated St. Mary's High School in Sandusky, Ohio, in 1950. On September 1, 1952, she married James Charles Busam at Holy Angels Church in Sandusky. They began their married life in Milwaukee, Wis., where their six children were born. The family moved to Raleigh in 1972.
Grace was a creative and loving homemaker, who enjoyed painting, playing the piano, and knitting. She was a gatherer of family oral history and wrote some delightful memoirs that passed along many treasured moments from years ago. We will miss her laughter and her excellent cooking and the bountiful tables she set. She treasured her time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Lloyd Bonderer; her sisters Leota Ohlemacher, Eula Colvin, and Celeste Hacker; her son, Kurt Busam; and her grandson, Mathew Busam.
The center of a large, loving family, Grace is survived by her husband, James Busam of Wake Forest; her daughters, Anne (William) Dowling of Wendell and Carol (David) Norris of Wilmington; her sons, Paul (Anita) Busam of Ellicott City, Md., Eric (Angela) Busam of Rocky Mount, and Lyle (Cathy) Busam of Youngsville; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Resurrection was conducted at 10:00 AM Monday, January 29, 2007, at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church with Father John Parish officiating. Burial was in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

Robert Earl Timberlake, Jr.
Robert Earl Timberlake, Jr., 70, of 1484 Tarboro Road, Youngsville, died Saturday morning, January 27, 2007 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. He was born in Franklin County, The son of the late Hallie Mae Johnson Timberlake and Robert E. Timberlake, Sr.
Mr. Timberlake was a retired a Lab Technician with Wake Finishing and was a member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, January 29, 2007, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Faile officiating. Burial was in the Harris Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Wall Timberlake; sister, Jean Brown of Marathon, Fla.; nephew, Marty Brown of Mebane, Fla.; step-mother, Mildred Timberlake of Youngsville, and a special friend, Irene Timberlake of Youngsville.
Pallbearers were Danny Blake, Junior Alford, Rodney Bright, Ray Wall, Jerry Kinton and Kenny Timberlake.

Sarah Ellen Corbin Langley
Sarah Ellen Corbin Langley, 65, of 364 South Franklin Street, Wake Forest, died Sunday, January 28, 2007, at Wake Medical Center. Mrs. Langley was born in Fremont, N.C., the daughter of the late Charlotte Byrd Corbin, Hubert A. Corbin and Sarah Lee Davis Corbin and was a 1962 graduate of Wilson School of Nursing.
Mrs. Langley is survived by her daughter, Amy Davis of Garner; siblings, Emory T. Corbin and wife, Jean, of Kansas City, Mo., Atha Corbin Bledsoe of Charlotte, Hubert D. Corbin and wife, Margaret, of Benson and Nancy Corbin Narron and husband, Wayne, of Wilson. Mrs. Langley was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Nolan Duke.
A gathering of family and friends was held on Wednesday evening, January 31,2007, at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Cathy Lee Reagan, 53, of 1211 Ser. J Drive, Franklinton, died Monday at her home.
She was born in Mecklenburg County, the daughter of the late Nancy Castle Stilwell and Andrew Jackson Stilwell.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Reagan; daughters, Deanna Alberts of Wake Forest and Danielle O’Neal of Franklinton; son, Brandon Daniels of Franklinton; grandchildren, Amber Alberts, Vincent Cone, Hayley O’Neal and Erica O’Neal.
