Frances Violet Alexander Lewis, 79, of Raleigh, died Thursday, October 11, 2001.
Funeral service was held on Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel in Raleigh.
Burial followed in Montlawn Memorial Park.
Surviving: sister, Ada Mae Garner of Raleigh; nieces and nephews, Ester Eason of Raleigh, Rosa Garner and husband, Jim of Madison, WI, Edward Garner and wife, Elaine of Newport, Ben Garner and wife, Cristina of Garner; special friends, John Killebrew of Wake Forest and Juanita Taylor of Raleigh; seven great-nieces and nephews; six great-great-nieces and nephews.
John E. Foster, II
John E. Foster, II, of Kure Beach, died Thursday, October 11, 2001 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center.
Funeral service was held on Sunday at Andrew Mortuary Valley Chapel.
Interment followed in Federal Point Cemetery.
Surviving: wife, Janet Foster of Kure Beach; sons, John Foster, III and wife, Sandra of Garner and David Foster of Kure Beach; daughter, Roxanne Salisbury and husband, Ted of Cary; grandchildren, Steven Salisbury, Paul Salisbury, Jordan Foster and Bryce Overton; sister, Joan Pozicky of Jupiter, FL.
LILLIE M. LYNCH
CARY -- Lillie M. Lynch, 78, of Apex and formerly of Cary, died Thursday, July 9,1998, after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Lynch was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a member of the XYZ Club of Cary.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Mausoleum Chapel at Raleigh Memorial Park.
Surviving are: daughters, Gail Zadell of Apex, Barbara Langley of Maryland; brothers, Curtis and Insley Humphreys of Maryland; sister, Mary Dodson of Maryland; and three grandchildren, Lisa Kempf, Kim Walker, and Brad Zadell.
Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Lynch.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Mary's Street, 4th floor, Raleigh, N.C. 27605.

SUZELLE "SUE" ADAMS
WILSON -- Suzelle "Sue" C. Adams, 72, died Friday, July 10, 1998.
Graveside service 2 p.m. Sunday, Fairview Cemetery, LaGrange, N.C., with Rev. Jim McKinnon officiating.
She was retired from Reuben H. Donnelley Corp. and until her illness, she was office manager of Hilton's Men and Ladies Shop.
Surviving: daughters, Alice A. Bass of Wilson, Suzanne A. Hughes of Piedmont, S.C.; son, Ray M. "Skip" Adams Jr. of Charlotte; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray M. Adams.
Visitation from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 US 264 West; other times the family will beat 101 Dryden Place.
TRAVIS P. BETTS
FUQUAY-VARINA -- Travis Phillip Betts, 76, died Thursday.
Funeral 11 a.m. today, Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

JAMES N. "JIM" FLOWERS
SELMA -- James N. "Jim" Flowers, 68, a retired inspector with the Department of Agriculture, died Friday.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
Entombment will be in Selma Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are: his wife, Dina Brown Flowers; two sons, James N. Flowers, Jr. and his wife, Janet of Cary, John Flowers and his wife, Sheila of Wilson's Mills; two daughters, D.C. Flowers and DiDi Flowers, both of Selma; his mother, Olivia Jones Flowers of Smithfield; a sister, Ann Lee of Smithfield; and two grandsons, Boone Flowers and Ben Flowers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday night from 7-9 p.m.
ROY L. HONEYCUTT, JR.
GREENVILLE -- Roy L. Honeycutt, Jr., 78, died Thursday, July 9, 1998.
The funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Burial will be in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Honeycutt, a native of Raleigh, served in the U.S. Army during World War II. ,
He moved to Greenville from Wilson in 1954 and soon after, established Honeycutt Beauty Supply Company, now Honeycutt Salon Services, Inc. The company, with offices in Greenville, Raleigh, and Virginia Beach, Va., now serves all of North Carolina, and parts of both Virginia, and South Carolina.
In 1995, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the National Cosmetology Association of North Carolina.
He was a member of St. Pauls Episcopal Church.
Mr. Honeycutt had served in leadership roles in both the Boys and Girls Club of Pitt County and the Eastern District of the Boy Scouts of America.
He is survived by: wife, Elizabeth (Lib) Wells Honeycutt of Greenville; sons, Rhett Honeycutt and wife, Joanne Honeycutt of Greenville, Roy Honeycutt and wife, Blake Honeycutt of Greenville; step daughters, Joyce M. Davenport and husband, James Davenport of Louisburg, Lee M. Vann and husband, Tom Vann of Washington, Lynn M. Forbes and husband Glenn Forbes of Greenville; grandchildren, Mark Honeycutt of Greenville, Brooks Honeycutt of Greenville, Garrett Honeycutt of Greenville, Miles Honeycutt of Greenville; step grandchildren, Rob Davenport of Raleigh, Mary D. Seegert of Raleigh, Phillip Vann of Washington, Rebecca Forbes of Greenville, David Forbes of Greenville.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
