JOHN MARSHALL HENDERSON, SR.
DURHAM -- Funeral services for Mr. John Marshall Henderson, Sr., 78, of 5322 Peppercorn St., will be held on Thursday, 2 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church, with Rev. Cecil Mitchell officiating.
Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
Mr. Henderson was born April 25, 1919 in Durham County, to the late John and Lessie Henderson.
He departed this life on June 16, 1997.
He was educated in the Durham Public School System.
He retired in 1984 from Wachovia Bank after 43 years of service.
He was a member of Northside Baptist Church, where he was actively involved throughout the years, in the following activities and organizations; member of the Deacon Board, serving as chairman for a period of time, church treasurer, Sunday School and Missionary member, secretary of the Ministers and Deacons Union Board, member of New Home-In Durham Association and Sunday School Convention, member of the Male Chorus and Pastor's Aid Club.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Tazzie Henderson of the home; daughter, Saundra (John) Quick of Durham; four sons, Larry (Betty) Henderson, Gerald (Estelle) Henderson, Ronald (Gloria) Henderson all of Durham and Bobby (Thelma) Henderson, Ronald (Gloria) Henderson all of Durham and Bobby (Thelma) Henderson of Rydal, Pa.; sister, Jessie (Devorn) Exum of District Heights, Md.; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home this evening.

STANLEY K. KETCHAM
CARY -- Stanley K. Ketcham, 86, a retired self-employed carpenter and former resident of Pine Bush, NY, died Sunday, June 8, 1997, at Western Wake Medical Center, Cary.
The son of the late Norman and Anna Baldwin Ketcham.
He was born March 1, 1911, in Farmingdale, NY.
Survivors include his wife, Ada E. Bodle Ketcham of the home; sons, Stanley Ketcham of West Palm Beach, FL, Allen J. Ketcham of Cary; one grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 1997 at Brick Church Cemetery, Montgomery, NY.
Rev. Donna Hankins Hulley of the United Methodist Church, Weldon, NY, officiated.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.

LIZA M. LANG
KINSTON -- Mrs. Liza Murdoch Lang, 86, died Tuesday, June 17, 1997 at the Albemarle in Tarboro.
She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church and a retired school teacher, having taught at Grainger High School and Southwood School.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from St. Mary's Episcopal Church with Rev. Joshua T. MacKenzie officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Farmville.
Surviving include her daughters, Mrs. Harriett L. Hornthal of Elizabeth City, Mrs. Ann L. Blackmon of Montgomery, AL.; sisters, Mrs. Josephine M. Faust of Arlington, VA., Mrs. Della M. Carlton of Salisbury; brothers, Major General Retired Francis J. Murdoch of Bedford, VA., Mr. William S. Murdoch of Salisbury; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home in Kinston, Wednesday, 5:30-7 p.m.

CHARLES W. "BILL" McCLUSKEY
GREENSBORO -- Charles William "Bill" McCluskey, 83, formerly of Pleasant Garden Road, died June 16, 1997, at Wesley Long Community Hospital.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Hanes-Lineberry North Elm Chapel with interment at Alamance Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Bill was a member of Alamance's Presbyterian Church.
He was retired after 45 years with Fisher-Harrison Printing Company.
Bill is survived by daughter, Phyliss D. Marshall of Cornella, Ga.; son, Larry D. McCluskey of Garner, N.C.; sister, Esther Gorrell of Greensboro; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; special friend Mozelle Shaw.
NATHAN J. MELTON, SR.
ENFIELD -- Mr. Nathan Josh Melton, Sr., 78, of Rt.2, Box 96-A, died Monday, June 16, 1997 at his residence.
Mr. Melton was born August 10, 1918 in Halifax County, a son of Dan and Mary Brake Melton. He was a farmer and was employed as a carpenter with Huttig Industries.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Joyner Melton; son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Charlene Melton of Sharpsburg; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Lou and Robert Griffin of Red Oak, Susan and Mike Hughes and Debbie and Perry Newman, all of Raleigh; grandchildren, Michael Hughes of Raleigh, Joshua and Sara Melton of Sharpsburg; sister, Melissa Edwards of Rocky Mount.
Gravesi de service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday by Elder D.B. Stokes in the Elmwood Cemetery.

LEXINGTON -- Clara Bruton Miller, 90, memorial service 2 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 1997, at Grace Episcopal Church.
Surviving: son, Seth Miller of Lexington.
She was preceded in death by one son, Donald J. Miller.

JAMES E. MULRINE
CHAPEL HILL -- James Edward Mulrine, 75, died suddenly, Friday, June 13, 1997, in London, England.
Mr. Mulrine retired from Foster-Wheeler, where he was a Chemical Engineer.
He was a veteran of the Army Air Force and served as Gunner in WW II.
A memorial service will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Saturday, at the Church of the Holy Family.
Mr. Mulrine is survived by his wife, Prudence K. Mulrine; three daughters, Cathy Wright of Paris, Nancy Mulrine of London, Mary Lisowsky of Kansas; son, Philip Mulrine of Cary; sister, Peggy Fisher of Philadelphia; two grandchildren, Samantha and Markham Lisowsky, both of Kansas.
