James W. Wilson Jr.
James W. Wilson Jr., 85, died Sunday, June 4, at the Rex Hospital Hospice Unit in Raleigh.
Bill was born in Franklin County, the son of James and Alice U. Wilson. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a sergeant and earned two bronze stars. He received his B.S. in Agriculture at N.C. State Universit, was a teacher for 14 years and was a regional sales rep for Northrup King for 20 years.
Survivors include Hettie Stallings, wife of 61 years, daughter Alice Curtis and husband Jim both of Sparks, Nev., son Steven Wilson and wife Martha Ikeda of Cary, one grandson, Brian Walker of Dallas Texas, and his sister, Kitty Blackley of Cary. He was preceeded in death by his sisters Jane Montague and Rebecca Richardson and his mother Alice.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Cary on Friday, June 8. Internment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Mary's St., Raleigh 27605 or Joe Smith Sunday School Class c/o FUMC, 117 So. Academy St., Cary 27511.

Catherine D. Zimmerman
Catherine D. Zimmerman, 90, of Cary passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at WakeMed Raleigh. She was a member of the Kirk of Dunedin, Fla., and a graduate of Bloomsburg University. She taught school for 25 years in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Survivors are a son, David, of Cary; a daughter, Rebecca, and a grandson, Zachary, both of Columbus, Ohio. A memorial service was held in Sunbury, Pa., on Tuesday, May 8, with the Rev. H. F. Showers, cousin of the deceased, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

Jordan Michael Dearani, 3 months, died May 18, 2007, at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill. A memorial mass will be held at noon Saturday, May 26, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 804 High House Road, Cary.
Jordan is survived by his mother, Kahli Patricia Dearani; grandfather, Michael Joseph Dearani of Cary, grandmother, Rhonda Walker Szapiel of Epping, N.H.; aunt, Alyssa Marie Dearani of Quincy, Mass.; uncle, Kyle Roman Szapiel of Quincy, Mass. He is also survived by his great-grandparents.
Francis William Blue
Francis William Blue, 61, of Court Garden Way, Cary died Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Kitty Atkins Hospital, Goldsboro.
Mr. Blue was a loving husband to his wife, Cecilia R. Blue of Cary; a devoted father to his son, Frank P. Blue and wife, Theresa of Long Island, N.Y.; a cherished brother to his twin brother, David P. Blue and wife, Linda of New Jersey and sister, Barbara Bollettierri and husband, Franklin of Staten Island, N.Y.; endeared grandfather to his granddaughter, Morgan Taylor Blue; and several nieces and nephews. He was a special friend to all who knew him.
The family will hold private services.
Robert Angelo "Kito" Bizieff
Robert Angelo "Kito" Bizieff, 17, of Apex, died at his home on Sunday, May 27, 2007. Kito was a sophomore at Panther Creek High School. Kito was involved with the football and wrestling teams.
Kito is survived by his mother, Kimberly Guerrero of Apex; father and his wife, Robert and Mary Catherine Bizieff of Apex; brothers, Patrick and Samuel Bizieff, both of Apex; grandmother, Margaret Guerrero of Fresno Calif.; uncles, Eddie and Angel Guerrero of Fresno, Calif.; and his aunt, Sandra Clem of Fresno, Calif. Kito is also survived by a host of cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. (N.C. 55), Apex. There will be a memorial service following the visitation at the funeral home on Thursday.
In addition there will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Peace Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends follow that service.
Inurnment will be at a later date in St. Peter's Cemetery, Fresno, Calif.

Gary Lee Pendergraft
Gary Lee Pendergraft, 46, of Apex, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at his home. He was born on Jan. 29, 1961 to Billy K. and Maggie Johnson Pendergraft. Gary, a Wake County native, was a retired mechanic with Southern Tire Company in Apex.
A funeral service conducted by Rev. Lalon Barnes was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 26, at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St. (N.C. 55), Apex. The family received friends prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m., and at all other times at the home of Ron and Mary Cameron, 318 White Oak Drive, Cary.
He is survived by his brothers, Danny Pendergraft, David Pendergraft, Mickey Pendergraft and wife, Kathy, all of Apex, and Kevin Pendergraft and wife, Beth of Fuquay-Varina; sisters, JoAnn Jackola and husband, Randy of Durham, twin sister, Mary Cameron and husband, Ron of Cary, Gail VanDeusen and Kevin of Morrisville. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews. Gary leaves behind a brother at heart, Brent Burns of Fuquay-Varina and many extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Billy K. Pendergraft on Feb. 22, 2006 and his mother, Maggie Ethel Johnson Pendergraft on Oct. 25, 2002.

Mildred Smith Boyette
Mildred Smith Boyette, 81, of Cary passed away into the sweet arms of Jesus on June 4, 2007 at Rex Health and Rehab in Apex after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.
She was a longtime Cary resident and had retired from Exide Electronics after 23 years of service. She was also a vendor at the N.C. State Fair for over 50 years.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Boyette of Cary; sons, James Ronald Smith and wife, Janice of Raleigh, Kenneth R. Smith and wife, Brenda of Cary, and Glenn R. Smith and wife, Linda of Raleigh, daughter: Patricia S. Newton and husband, Richard of Cary. Sisters; Geraldine Clewis of Pensacola, Fla., Lucille Taylor of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Peggy Cotten of Moncure; and brother, Earl Long of Durham. She had seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and other special relatives.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. (N.C. 55), Apex; and at all other times at the home of Glenn Smith at 1324 Medfield Road, Raleigh, 27607.
Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 7, at Apex Funeral Home and graveside service will Follow at Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Cary.

Arthur R. Roller
Arthur R. Roller, 87, of Morrisville, passed away on May 14, 2007. He was born in Astoria, N.Y. on Oct. 12, 1919.
Art is survived by a son, a daughter and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cary.
In lieu of flowers, contributions for a memorial may be made in Art's name to Christ the King Lutheran Church.
Elizabeth Lee (Betty) Foster
Elizabeth Lee (Betty) Foster passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, May 24, 2007 in Cary.
Betty was the loving and devoted wife of 51 years to the late William A. Foster Jr. She is the mother of Theresa Gimpel and her husband, the late K. Craig Gimpel of Langhorne, Pa.; Daniel Foster and his wife Karen of Auburn, Calif.; Rita Kopp and her husband Rodney of Glenside, Pa., and William Foster and his wife Sheila of Cary, with whom she has resided with and been lovingly cared for over the last 14 months. She is the dear grandmother of Christine Corcoran and her husband Paul, Marie Carlson and her husband John, Stacey Grauel and her husband Joe, Karl Gimpel, Jonathan Foster, Jennifer Foster, Jason Foster, Stephen Rittler, Dan Rittler and his wife Jessica, Katie Rittler and Sarah Kopp, Matthew Foster and his wife Emily, Andrew Foster, Christopher Foster, Elizabeth Foster and Ethan Foster. She is the loving great-grandmother of Ashley Lawrence, Tiffany Corcoran, Lillian Carlson, Joseph Grauel, Rachel Rittler and Nathan Rittler.
Prior to residing in Cary, Elizabeth was a 30-year resident of Levittown, Pa, and member of Queen of the Universe Parish. After raising her family, Betty was employed by the Internal Revenue Service of Philadelphia. Betty and her husband Bill retired to Bradenton, Fla., where they enjoyed 12 wonderful years. Both Betty and Bill were active members of the community and Saints Peter and Paul Parrish. She was an avid reader, enjoyed a good debate, classical music and Broadway shows. She was quite gifted in crocheting and knitting and took great pleasure in long walks. She cherished time with family and friends and loved spending time at the beaches of New Jersey, Florida and North Carolina. She was one of Notre Dame's biggest fans for over 50 years.
A vibrant person who loved life and the people in her life, she will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 1, at 9:30 a.m. in Saints Peter and Paul Church, 75th St., Bradenton, Fla. Interment will follow in the parish gardens.
