She is survived by a daughter, Marvis Landburg, Fargo; and brothers, Wallace Christopher, Hillsboro, N.D., and Emmons Christopher, Grand Forks.

Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo.

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today, Ivers Funeral Home, Fargo.

Ira Aafedt Services

FORDVILLE, N.D. -- Ira Aafedt, 91, Windsor, Conn., formerly of Fordville, died July 2, 2000, in Windsor.

Memorial services: 2 p.m., Thursday, First Presbyterian Church, Fordville.

Guy Johnson

MCVILLE, N.D. -- Guy Johnson, 75, McVille, N.D., died Friday, July 7, 2000, in Nelson County Health System-Care Center, McVille, where he had lived since 1995.

Guy Johnson was born Aug. 24, 1924, the son of William and Lilly (Alertson) Johnson, in Kennedy, Minn., where he attended school. He served in the Army during World War II. He worked recapping tires in Minneapolis. He moved to McVille where he owned and operated the barbershop.

He is survived by daughters, Gwen Molsborger, Grand Forks, and Linda Jenkins, Warren, Minn.; brothers, Gary, St. Cloud, Minn., and David, Minneapolis; and a sister, Diane Olson, Waukegan, Ill.

He was preceded in death by a son, Terry; daughters, Arlys and Marcie; and six brothers.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Stanley-Iverson Funeral Home, McVille.

Visitation: One hour before services in the funeral home.

Burial: McVille Cemetery.

Military Rites: Ole Semling American Legion Post No. 135.

John Paulsrud

BINFORD, N.D. -- John Paulsrud, 90, Devils Lake, formerly of Binford, died Saturday, July 8, 2000, in Heartland Care Center, Devils Lake, where he had lived since 1995.

John Pernell Paulsrud was born Nov. 27, 1909, the son of Albert and Ida (McFarland) Paulsrud, in McVille, N.D., where he attended school. He also attended school in Pekin, N.D. He married Myrtle Beck on Sept. 18, 1934, in Fargo. He worked on the farm for H.S. Ewen, Carrington, N.D. In 1935, they moved to Binford. He worked for WPA and he worked for Burlington Northern Railroad as a section man from 1943 to 1975. Myrtle Paulsrud died Jan. 20, 1992.

He is survived by a son, Thomas (Nancy), Beulah, N.D.; daughters, Carolyn (Leon) Gilbraith, Crary, N.D., and Marjorie Paulsrud, Devils Lake; a daughter-in-law, Luci Paulsrud, Menahga, Minn.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by sons, Duane and an infant; a brother, Albert "Bud" Jr.; and a sister, Kate Johnson.

Services: 2: 30 p.m. Thursday, Trinity Lutheran Church, Binford.

Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Stanley-Iverson Funeral Home, McVille, and one hour before services in the church.

Burial: Binford Cemetery.

David Waxvik

David J. Waxvik, 60, 503 Oak St., died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at home.

David Jerome Waxvik was born March 28, 1940, the son of George and Marie (Kossow) Waxvik, in Grand Forks, where he attended school. He worked as a laborer in Grand Forks.

He is survived by sisters, Judy (Harley) Wagner, Elizabeth, Colo., Sharon Keith, Athol, Mass., and Carol (Alvin) McGeorge, Cottage Grove, Ore.; and a sister-in-law, Marlene Waxvik, Grand Forks.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Diane Terry; and brothers, Richard and Donald.

Memorial Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Gregory J. Norman Funeral Chapel, S. Washington St.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Grand Forks.

Hope Triggs

FARGO -- Hope Christina Triggs, infant daughter of Chris and Sara Triggs, Fargo, was born and died Monday, July 10, 2000, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo.

She is survived by her parents; grandparents, Lee and Sheryl Vinje, Mayville, N.D., John Triggs and Diane Domes, both of Winnipeg; and great-grandparents, Lenore Qualey, Fargo, and Bernie and Josephine Domes, Winnipeg.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Thursday, Mayville Lutheran Church.

Paul Paulson

PORTLAND, N.D. -- Paul M. Paulson, 84, Chicago, formerly of Portland, died Friday, July 7, 2000, in Illinois.

Paul M. Paulson was born Nov. 18, 1915, the son of Ole and Bertha Paulson, in Portland. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He moved to Chicago in 1948. He worked as a real estate agent for 35 years in Oak Park, River Forest and Forest Park areas.

He is survived by a brother, Harold (Eleanor), Homewood, Ill.; and a sister, Annie Larson, Minneapolis.

Services: 10: 30 a.m. Thursday, Perry Lutheran Church, Portland.

Burial: Perry Cemetery, Portland (Baker, Mayville, N.D.).

David Waxvik

David J. Waxvik, 60, 503 Oak St., died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at home.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Diane Terry; and brothers, Richard and Donald.

Memorial Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Gregory J. Norman Funeral Chapel, S. Washington St.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Grand Forks.
