Hildred Hendrickson
GLENFIELD, N.D. -- Hildred Hendrickson, 88, Fargo, formerly of Glenfield, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000, in Bethany Homes, Fargo.
Hildred K. Ordahl was born May 2, 1912, the daughter of Pastor M.B. and Inga (Gunderson) Ordahl, in Holt, Minn. In 1924, she moved with her family to Binford, N.D., where she graduated from high school in 1930. She married
Henry Hendrickson on June 21, 1938, in Glenfield. She taught school in Glenfield, Woodworth and Buchanan, N.D. In 1992, they moved to Riverview retirement home in Fargo. Henry Hendrickson died Nov. 27, 1996.
She is survived by sons, John (Sandy), Lewistown, Idaho, and David, Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter, Rachel (Dennis) Johnson, Moorhead; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sisters, Florence March, Dagny Vaswig, Evangeline Billingsley, all of Tacoma, Wash., and Myrtle Smith, Osceola, Wis.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Val and Esther.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Glenfield Lutheran Church.
Visitation: 11 a.m. to 8: 30 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8: 30 p.m. Thursday, Evans Funeral Home, Carrington, N.D., and one hour before services in the church.
Burial: Glenfield Cemetery.
Richard Anderson
Richard Anderson, 61, formerly of Grand Forks, died Nov. 18, 2000, in San Jose, Calif.
Richard Ray Anderson was born May 29, 1939, the son of George and Alice (Billings) Anderson, in Grand Forks, where he graduated from high school in 1957. He worked at Underwriters Laboratories in Santa Clara, Calif. He owned Music Box stores in the San Jose area.
He is survived by his wife, Carole Harper Anderson; children, Bonnie (John) Bialy, San Jose, and Timothy (Sandy), Boise, Idaho; a grandson; stepchildren, Dawn Driscal and Jack Harper; two stepgrandchildren; and sisters, Monice (William) McNutt, San Diego, and Shirley Lowe, Las Vegas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, George (Kayo).
Ethel Larson
THIEF RIVER FALLS -- Ethel E. Larson, 92, Thief River Falls, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, in Convalescent Nursing Care Unit of the Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls, where she had lived for the past two years.
Ethel E. Sorenson was born March 31, 1908, the daughter of Soren and Mattie (Larson) Sorenson, in Norden Township, Pennington County, Minn., where she attended school. She married
A. Arthur Larson on Sept. 9, 1934, in Thief River Falls. She worked at Valley Home, Thief River Falls, as a nurses aid for 10 years. Arthur Larson died in 1963.
She is survived by sons, Bruce (Marles), Duluth, Minn., Dean (Sandy), Howard, Colo., and Mark, Thief River Falls; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter; sisters, Anna Olson, Minnie Myrom, Mabel Ness, Gladys Malchow, Ina Ness, Carrie Hollander and Mary Swanson; and brothers, Henry, Charles and Sam.
Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, Green Funeral Home, Thief River Falls.
Visitation: Noon to 2 p.m. Thursday and one hour before services in the funeral home.
Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls.
Robert Chase
Robert V. Chase, 77, 1022 14th Ave. S., died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2000, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo.
Robert V. Chase was born Sept. 11, 1922, the son of Victor and Lucy (Beatt) Chase, in Grand Forks, where he graduated from high school. He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II. He returned to Grand Forks and graduated from UND. He moved to Stanley, N.D., and worked collections for the IRS based in Fargo. He returned to Grand Forks in 1952. He was office manager and an accountant for Baukol Builders of Grand Forks. He married
Gladys Johnson on Aug. 19, 1950, in Stanley.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Stephen (Mena), El Paso, Texas, Dick (Mary), Sandy, Utah, Tom (Teresa), Bismarck, and Bill (Laurie), Grand Forks; a daughter, Becky (Duane) Lutz, Freeport, Ill.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Dorothy Sullivan, Grand Forks, and Marjorie (Phil) Moynihan, Ukiah, Calif.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Calvary Lutheran Church of Grand Forks.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. today, Amundson Funeral Home, and one hour before services in the church.
Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ian Aman
BELCOURT, N.D. -- Ian L. Aman, 18, Belcourt, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, in Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility, Belcourt.
Ian Lee Aman was born April 6, 1982, the son of Steven and Sharon Aman Belgarde, in Mandan, N.D. He grew up in Williston, Gillette, Wyoming, Belcourt, and Minot. He was a talented artist, and had done several drawings and sketches.
He is survived by a son, Tyler Belgarde; his father, Steven (Terri) Belgarde, Minot; his mother, Sharon Belgarde, Devils Lake; a brother, Steve "T.T." Aman, Minot; half brothers, Aaron and Lane Belgarde, both of Devils Lake; half sisters, Shannon Aman, Dunseith, N.D., and Andrea Aman, Devils Lake; grandparents, Charlene Belgarde, Belcourt, and Steven Belgarde, Dunseith; great-grandmother, Ida Belgarde, Belcourt; and stepgrandfather, Dennis "Andy" Anderson, Belcourt.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Aman; and a great-grandfather, Francis Belgarde.
Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Turtle Mountain Worship Center, Belcourt.
Visitation: After 6: 30 p.m. today, and one hour before services both in the center.
Burial: Turtle Mountain Worship Center Cemetery

Mary Lou Bjorge
LAKOTA, N.D. -- Mary Lou Bjorge, 61, Lakota, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, at home.
Mary Lou Pesek was born May 18, 1939, the daughter of Joe and Mary (Balek) Pesek, in Sauter Township, Walsh County, N.D. She graduated from high school in Lawton, N.D., in 1957. She moved to Great Falls, Mont., where she worked in a movie theater. In 1963, she moved to Lawton, where she owned and operated a business. She married
Norris Bjorge in July 1982. They farmed near Lakota.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Heidi Fossum, Minnetonka, Minn.; sons, Bret (Beth), Katy, Texas, and Greg (Amy), Cottage Grove, Minn.; four grandchildren; sisters, Rose Marie (Laddie) Pecka, Lawton, and Katsy (Larry) Long, International Falls, Minn.; and brothers, Herbie (Lillian), Great Falls, Mont., and Joey (Katie), Edmore, N.D.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Alice Paul and Agnes Bina; and brothers, Bennie and Laddie.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Lakota Lutheran Church.
Visitation: After 1 p.m. today, Aaker Funeral Home, Lakota, and before services Friday in the church.
Burial: Lakota Cemetery.
Cathrine Chaput
LANGDON, N.D. -- Cathrine Chaput, 75, Langdon, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, in Cavalier County Memorial Hospital, Langdon.
Cathrine Klemisch was born May 16, 1925, the daughter of William and Theresa (Clodt) Klemisch, in Langdon, where she attended school. She also attended Valley City (N.D.) State Teachers College. She taught school in Perry Township, Cavalier County, N.D. She married
Raymond Chaput on Jan. 27, 1947, in Langdon. They lived and farmed in the Langdon area. She worked at the Langdon Creamery and DeVold's Variety Store. Raymond Chaput died Dec. 2, 1974.
She is survived by a son, Donald (Linda), Boonville, N.Y.; daughters, Sharon Lorenz, Thief River Falls, and Sandra (Ken) Haraseth, Riverdale, N.D.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe (Arlene), Langdon, Patrick (Retta), Thief River Falls, and James, Seattle; and sisters, Margaret (Odin) Swanson, Cavalier, N.D., Nancy Boldt, Riverside, Calif., and Audrey (Bennett) Spenst, Langdon.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; and a sister.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Langdon.
Visitation: 2 to 5: 30 p.m. today, Brooks Funeral Home, Langdon, and 7 to 9 p.m. today, with a 7: 30 p.m. prayer service, in the church.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Langdon.
