Emma Bergemann
Funeral services for Emma Bergemann, 83, Lisbon, were held on Wednesday, October 17, 2001 at Zion Lutheran Church, Gwinner. Reverend Kirk Douglas officiated. Mrs. Bergemann died Sunday, October 14, 2001 at the Lisbon Medical Center Nursing Home, Lisbon.
Emma Zwetzig, daughter of Jacob and Eva K (Meier) Zwetzig, was born on July 4, 1918 in rural Lisbon. She attended rural Lisbon school.
On June 15, 1938, she married Clarence Bergemann in rural Gwinner. They farmed near Gwinner for three years; then farming near Lisbon for 34 years. They moved to Lisbon in 1975. They spent some winters in Arizona. Emma was active in Zion Lutheran LWML and was a member of Bale Fiesta Homemakers for 50+ years.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Bergemann, Lisbon; three sons, Ron (Sandi) Bergemann, Duane (Sheila) Bergemann and Dennis (Gail) Bergemann, all of Lisbon; one daughter, Eileen (LeRoy) Putnam, Alexandria; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; four sisters, Freda Rehborg, Henning, Minn., Esther (Charles) Asp, San Marcos, Calif., Ruth (Richard) Sanderson, Lisbon, and Marion (Lloyd) Milligan, Fargo. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Aleck Zwetzig.
Pallbearers for the funeral were Kendall Johnson, Loren Bergemann, Daniel Bergemann, Curtis Bergemann, Aaron Putnam, Tyler Putnam, Rita Bergemann and Heidi Jamison.
Music was provided by organist LaVonne Nelson and soloist Heidi Jamison.
Interment at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Gwinner.
Armstrong Funeral Home, Lisbon, was in charge of arrangements.

Mackenzie Alexis Troyer
Funeral services for Mackenzie Alexis Troyer, 5 weeks, Fargo, were held on Tuesday, October 16, 2001 at First Assembly of God, Fargo. Mackenzie died Saturday, October 13, 2001 at Minneapolis (Minn.) Children’s Hospital.
Mackenzie Alexis Troyer, daughter of Todd and Kelly Troyer, Fargo, was born on Tuesday, September 4, 2001 in Minneapolis.
She is survived by her parents; one brother, Matthew, Fargo; her grandparents, Keith and Lois Troyer, Waterloo, Iowa, and Duane and Flora Sulerud, Cherokee Village, Ark.; and her great-grandmother, Helen Sulerud, Lisbon. She was preceded in death by her sister, Taylor Troyer, who died in 2000.
Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
Korsmo Funeral Service, Moorhead, was in charge of arrangements.

Janice M. Ingebretsen
Funeral services for Janice M. Ingebretsen, 56, Verona, were held on Thursday, October 25, 2001 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sabin, Minn. Pastor Daniel Wagner officiated. Mrs. Ingebretsen died Monday, October 22, 2001 at her home.
Janice M. Maier, daughter of Charles and Viola Maier was born on November 1, 1944 in Verona. She moved with her family near Hawley in 1955. She attended schools in Hawley and Glyndon and graduated from Glyndon High School in 1963.
On March 25, 1965, she married Burl V. Ingebretsen at Kragnes, Minn. They lived at Sabin all their married life.
She is survived by her husband, Burl Ingebretsen; three sons, James (Tammy) Ingebretsen, Glyndon, Steven (Kim) Ingebretsen, Fargo and Jerrod Ingebretsen, Sabin; two brothers, Dennis (Nancy) Maier, Barnesville and Robert (Carolyn) Maier, Moorhead; a sister, Marcellyn Erlandson, Oakes; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Ava Lynn and a brother, Richard Maier.
Pallbearers for the funeral were Jeffrey Maier, Jason Maier, Barry Shaw, Chris Ingebretsen, Kyrie Coleman, and Sara Shaw..
Music was provided by organist Anne Morris and soloists Jerry Wetterlin and Darrin Shaw.
Interment at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sabin.
Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, was in charge of arrangements.

Anna M. Olson
Funeral services for Anna M. Olson, 78, Lisbon, were held on Monday, October 22, 2001 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lisbon. Reverend Norman Anderson and Reverend David Killeen officiated. Mrs. Olson died Wednesday, October 17, 2001 at her home in Lisbon.
Anna M. Olson, daughter of Oliver and Bertha (Miller) Lund, was born on April 8, 1923 in Enderlin. She attended rural Enderlin School and graduated from Lisbon High School.
On November 3, 1941, she married Earl V. Olson in Enderlin. They lived in Lisbon where Anna had worked at Ben Franklin, Anthony’s and Vogue Cleaners.
She is survived by two sons, Vernon (Alice-Lynne) Olson, Minneapolis and Roger (Verla) Olson, Bloomington, Minn.; one daughter, Janet (Brian) Bohnsack, Hillsboro, N.D.; one brother, Lorne (Clara) Lund, Enderlin; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Olson, who died February 5, 1996; and one brother, John Lund.
Pallbearers for the funeral were Stephen Olson, Mitchell Olson, Ryan Bohnsack, John Bohnsack, Nathan Meyers and Scott Meyers.
Music was provided by organist Marj Vangsness and soloist Jan Hansen.
Interment at Fillmore Lutheran Cemetery, rural Enderlin.

Edna L. Flaagan
Funeral services for Edna L. Flaagan, 86, Fargo, were held on Friday, October 26, 2001 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo. She died Friday, October 19, 2001 at ManorCare Health Services, Fargo.
Edna Lucille Pederson, daughter of Isak and Anna (Isakson) Pederson, was born August 31, 1915 at Englevale. She was raised in the Fort Ransom area where she received her education.
She married Gilman Stewart Flaagan in Fargo and they made their home in the Fargo-Moorhead area, except for a brief time in Minot. Edna worked in the men’s department of Sears Roebuck and Company for many years in Fargo and Minot. Edna was a gifted vocalist, having performed as a church soloist, a member in numerous choral groups and also led sing-a-longs in nursing homes and senior centers.
She is survived by two daughters, Anita (Gerald) Dederick, Minneapolis, and Maureen Flaagan, Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, Martin Flaagan, Los Angeles; two sisters, Eva Erdman, Sun City West, Ariz. and Thora Danielson, Phoenix, Ariz; one brother, Leonard (Margaret) Pederson, Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister-in-law, Mabel Pederson, Fargo; brothers-in law, Benhard (Viola) Flaagan, Pekin, N.D., Gordon Flaagan, McVille, N.D., and A. Kenneth (Constance) Flaagan, Fargo; and sisters-in-law, Irene (Ernest) Spidahl, Kenyon, Minn. and Amie (Clayton) Aaser, McVille. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Evelyn B. Pederson, Clarence Pederson, Arthur Pederson, Isak M. Pederson, Jr. and Walter Pederson; one sister, Mildred Shockman; and one sister-in-law, Erva Spidahl.
Interment at Moorhead Memorial Gardens, Moorhead.

Eileen L. Wood
Funeral services for Eileen L. Wood, 61, Harmony, Md., were held on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 at Easter Shore Veterans Chapel, Hurlock, Md. She died Sunday, October 21, 2001 at the Memorial Hospital, Easton, Md.
Eileen L. Kreczmer, daughter of Louis and Agatha R. (Frankewicz) Kreczmer, was born July 4, 1940 in Baltimore, Md. She attended and graduated from Sparrows Point High School, class of 1958.
She married Joseph T. Wood. She worked in Data Entry, was tracering clerk at Waverly Press and was last working in the emergency room at Easton Hospital as a Patent Registration Representative. She was an active member of the Cub Scouts, serving as Den Mother and District Manager. She was an artist and writer, and assisted in the Adult Literacy Program.
She is survived two sons, Joseph T. (Deena) Wood, Jr., Hurlock, Md., and John D. (Mona) Wood, Harmony, Md.; two daughters, Teresa K. (John) Liszewski and Shelly R. (John) Silvernail, Lisbon; ten grandchildren; one sister, Maria Hall, Bridgeville, Del.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joseph T. Wood, Sr., who died August 22, 1994.

Henrietta J. Onsum
Funeral services for Henrietta J. Onsum, 103, Enderlin (formerly Dilworth, Minn.), were held on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 at First Presbyterian Church, Dilworth. Reverend Rick Larson officiated. Mrs. Onsum died on Sunday, October 21, 2001 at Hillcrest Manor, Enderlin.
Henrietta J. Jolly, daughter of James and Catherine (Pender) Jolly, was born on April 22, 1898 in Glyndon, Minn. She attended school in Sabin, Minn.
On February 14, 1923, she married Bert Onsum in Moorhead. They lived in Sabin, Glyndon and Dilworth. Henrietta worked at Isaman Grocery in Dilworth for several years. In 1985, she began living with her daughters, six months with each. She entered Hillcrest Manor in Enderlin in 1996. She had been president of the American Legion Auxiliary in Dilworth and was also a Gold Star Mother.
She is survived by one son, James Onsum, Dilworth; two daughters, Evie (Hubert) Bleese, Enderlin, and Kathryn Erstad, Broken Arrow, Okla.; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bert Onsum, who died in 1957; one son, Walter Onsum; one grandson, Bruce Onsum; three brothers and three sisters.
Pallbearers for the funeral were Larry Onsum, Wallie Bleese, Gene McManus, John McManus, James Jolly, David Lamb and Brad Lamb.
Music was provided by organist Mark Frisco and soloist Rev. Rick Larson.
Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Glyndon.
