Daniel Loessin, 76, Veraele, Wash., died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at his home.
There will be a private burial at a later date.
Daniel was born at Lidgerwood to Otto and Elizabeth Loessin. He served in the military for 25 years.
He is survived by: his wife, Janice; one daughter, Kimberley; two sons, Daniel Jr. and Scott; sisters, Cora (Ulrich) Lovdokken, Ilene (John) Rich, and Rosellen (Paul) Rusconi; brother, William Loessin.
Andrew J. "Andy" Dunn, 24
Andrew J. "Andy" Dunn, 24, rural Lidgerwood, N.D., died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, in rural Lidgerwood.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21 at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Geneseo, N.D. Visitation will be from 5-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. all at St. Martin's Catholic Church. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be at St. Martin's Cemetery, Geneseo. Frank Family Funeral Home, Lidgerwood, is in charge of the arrangements.
Irene M. Finnie, 89
Irene M. Finnie, 89, Wahpeton, N.D., formerly of Emerado, N.D., died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at St. Francis Healthcare Campus of Breckenridge, Minn.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30 at Emerado Presbyterian Church in Emerado.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29 at Amundson Funeral Home in Grand Forks, N.D. Visitation will continue Tuesday one hour prior to the service in the church.
Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery
of Grand Forks.
Irene M. McGrath was born March 17, 1921, the daughter of Tim and Minnie McGrath. She graduated from high school in Emerado. On April 14, 1941, she married
Donald P. Finnie and they farmed near Emerado until 1968. Irene worked part time for the Emerado School System and for the post office in Emerado. In 1969 she began working at Twining School at the Grand Forks Air Force Base, retiring in 1987.
In August 1990, she moved to Grand Forks and in 2002 she moved to Wahpeton.
Irene was a member of the Emerado Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Grand Forks County Homemakers of 50 years.
She enjoyed life on the farm, gardening, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by: her son, Duane (Diane) Finnie, Wahpeton; two grandsons, Brian Finnie, Thief River Falls, Minn., and Brent (Brittany) Finnie, Wahpeton; two great-granddaughters, April Finnie, Thief River Falls, and Gwen Finnie, Wahpeton; sister, Elaine (Donnie) Nelson, Yuma, Ariz.; sisters-in-law, Edith McGrath and Vivian Finnie, Grand Forks; and several nieces and nephews.
Irene was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Donald; and brother, Gerald McGrath.
Arrangements are with Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks.
Sister Mathiulde Pichlmeier, 98
Sister Mathiulde Pichlmeier, 98, Hankinson, N.D., died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at St. Franics Convent, Hankinson.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at St. Francis Convent Chapel, in Hankinson.
A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 at St. Francis Convent Chapel. Frank Family Funeral Home of Hankinson is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Diane Boll, 60
Diane Boll, 60, Wahpeton, N.D., died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at St. Francis Healthcare Campus, Breckenridge, Minn.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Wahpeton, with the Rev. Dale Lagodinski officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1 with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Hankinson, N.D., at a later date.
Arrangements are with Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.
Diane was born March 18, 1950, to Frank and Mary (Campbell) Theede in Breckenridge. She was raised on the family farm near Hankinson and attended and graduated from St. Francis Academy in 1968. She went on to attend the University of North Dakota and eventually received her associate's degree.
Diane was united in marriage to Arden Boll on Feb. 28, 1970, and they raised their three children on the farm near Hankinson. She was a longtime employee of 3M/Imation in Wahpeton and worked for EMCO Building Products, Wahpeton, until the present time.
Diane enjoyed spending time at the cabin and fishing, crocheting and hitting an occasional jackpot at the casino. She was known for her good cooking, baking and being there for others. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends.
Diane is survived by: her daughter, Carrie Boll, Corpus Christi, Texas; her sons, Boyd (Amy) Boll, Fargo, N.D., Guy (Nancy) Boll, Englewood, Ohio; her grandchildren, Rachel, Natalie, Josephine and Cecelia Boll; her parents, Frank and Mary Theede, Wahpeton; her brother, Alton (Mary) Theede, Hankinson; her sisters, Kathy (Don) Emde, Blue Grass, Iowa, Jean (Bill) Wurl, Hankinson, Teresa (Kelly) Meyer, Mooreton, N.D.; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her granddaughter, Angie Bernard.
