Stoner - William Martin Jr., 78, Madeira Beach, Fla., formerly Lincoln, died Friday (1/1/2002). "Bill" was born in Lincoln. Attended Lincoln High School. Graduated, Wentworth Military Academy, Lexington, Mo. Army veteran, World War II, served with 7th Infantry Division in Philippines and Okinawa; earned two Combat Infantry Badges, the Bronze Star for bravery in action and two Purple Hearts. In Lincoln, owner and president, Western Sand and Gravel Co. Member, Rotary Club of Lincoln and First Presbyterian Church. In 1970 moved family to Madeira Beach, where he was owner/manager, Wit's End Motel and later served as director, building and zoning, city of Madeira Beach. Member, Gulf Beaches Rotary Club and Church by the Sea where he served on board of trustees, foundation board and as church treasurer for many years. During his lifetime, was very active in civic activities including the Motel-Hotel Association, board of directors of the Madeira Beach Chamber of Commerce, Madeira Beach Board of Adjustment. Volunteer firefighter.
Survivors: children, spouses, Carol and Bob Decker, North Redington Beach, Fla., Kay and Ivan Senia, Indian Rocks Beach, Fla., William III and Cindy Stoner, St. Petersburg, Fla., Marilyn and Barry Wynocker, Margaret and Pete Simmons, Tom and Judy Stoner, all Seminole, Fla., John and Judy Stoner, Plantation, Fla.; nephew, Don Sherwood, Lakewood, Colo.; 17 grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife of 57 years, Patricia Becker Stoner.

Suda - Melvin R., 75, Crete, formerly Milligan, died Friday (2/1/2002) in Lincoln.

Worthman - Russell W., 68, Gering, died Jan. 16, 2002 at home after a brief battle with cancer.

Zoubek - Abbie D., 91, Wilber, formerly Crete, widow of James, died Sunday (2/3/2002). Born near Wilber. Worked at various places in Crete. Lived on farms near Western and Milligan.
Survivors: son, Kenneth J., Milligan; daughter, Gladys M. Tyser, Wilber; brothers, Joe Duba, Wilber, Frank Duba, Western; sisters, Bertha Duba, Rose Boden, Mildred Behrens, all Crete; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Anderson - Dr. Robert G. "Bob," 76, Lincoln, died Monday (2/4/2002).
