Jack Anderson
ALBION -- John B. "Jack" Anderson, 92, of Albion died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Albion. The Rev. Terry Otto will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery in Albion.
Levander Funeral Home in Albion is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Anderson was born on Jan. 8, 1907, at Trenton to George Arthur and Susan Belle Anderson. His parents homesteaded at Bingham and then moved to Ainsworth. At age 13, he moved to Albion and lived with his grandmother, Ph'be Bussell.
He graduated from Western Tri City Barber College in Omaha on Nov. 25, 1924. He barbered in Newman Grove for a short time and later purchased a shop in Albion.
He married
Hazel Hutchinson of Albion on June 2, 1935. The couple lived in Albion. He sold his barbershop in 1969 and bought one in Petersburg. He retired in February 1997, when he was 90.
He was proclaimed the longest practicing professional barber in Nebraska by former Gov. Ben Nelson on May 16, 1995.
He received a certificate for 75 years of membership from the First United Methodist Church in Albion on April 26, 1998. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.
He was a member of the Albion Country Club and Petersburg Commercial Club. He was an avid photographer and enjoyed making movies.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda (Mrs. Harry) Jordan of Omaha.
His wife died in 1989. He also was preceded in death by seven brothers, Orville, George, Ralph, Merrill, Clair, Chester and a baby brother.
George Keller
HASTINGS -- George M. Keller, 74, of Hastings died Friday, Feb. 26, 1999, at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. Richard A. Kothe will officiate. Burial with military rites will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Hastings.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Butler-Volland Funeral Home. Visitation will continue one hour before service time at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the church.
Mr. Keller was born on Dec. 19, 1924, in Doniphan to George and Viola (Kohl) Keller. He graduated from Doniphan High School in 1943. He served in the U.S. Navy from Sept. 23, 1943, to Feb. 11, 1946.
He married
Margaret Gerloff in 1950. He retired from Ingersoll Rand in 1988 after 42 years of service.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and served on various boards. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a past member of Ducks Unlimited.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Deborah (Mrs. Earl) Norseen of Loup City and Terri (Mrs. Max) Schurmann of Hildreth; a son, George W. Keller of Golden, Colo.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Rose Lonowski
LOUP CITY -- Rose M. Lonowski, 97, of Loup City died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at Rose Lane Home in Loup City.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church in Loup City. The Rev. Reginald A. Urban will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery at Loup City.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m., with a 4 p.m. sodality rosary, Sunday at Peters Funeral Home in Loup City. Visitation will continue from 6 to 8 p.m., with a 7:30 p.m. vigil service, Sunday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Rose Lane Home or the church.
Mrs. Lonowski was born on Sept. 25, 1901, on a farm near Elyria to Zacharias and Mary (Carkoski) Greenwalt. She grew up on the family farm and was educated in Elyria schools.
She married
Leo D. Lonowski on Nov. 15, 1920, at Ord. The couple moved in 1921 to Canada, where they farmed until November 1941, when they returned to a farm east of Loup City.
The couple retired in 1973 and moved into Loup City. Mr. Lonowski died on March 26, 1975. Mrs. Lonowski later moved to Westside Park and entered the Rose Lane Home in February 1993.
She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and dancing. She was a member of St. Josaphat's Catholic Church, Council of Catholic Women and Rosary Sodality.
Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Gappa of Grand Island; one son, Chester Lonowski of Loup City; 23 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; one brother, Louie Greenwalt of Elyria; and one sister, Dorothy Niemeyer of Wood River.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Lawrence and Floyd Lonowski; one daughter, Laura "Lorraine" Zalewski; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Edwin Greenwalt; and one sister, Magdeline Wisniski.
Hazel Nugent
CENTRAL CITY -- Hazel Nugent, 94, of Central City died Friday, Feb. 26, 1999, at her home.
Services are pending with Solt Funeral Home in Central City.
Donald Wilson Jr. CENTRAL CITY -- Donald Harvey Wilson Jr., 43, of Central City died Friday, Feb. 26, 1999, at his home.

Kai Kutschkau
MIDWAY, Utah -- Kai Randall Kutschkau, 13-month-old son of Kevin and Kris Kutschkau, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, due to complications of a hypoplastic left heart condition.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Midway Stake Center. Burial will be in the Midway City Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour before services at the center. Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home in Heber City, Utah, is in charge of arrangements.
Kai was born on Jan. 2, 1998, in Sacramento, Calif. His adoption by Kevin and Kris Kutschkau was final on Feb. 17, 1999. He had undergone two heart surgeries, with one more expected.
Survivors include his parents; a sister, Tristi; a brother, Brock; grandparents, Randy and Pam Kutschkau of Park City, Utah, and Gary and Carol Bonner of Midway, Utah; great-grandparents, Burnice Davis and Afton Ingels of Heber City, Utah, Wilma Memmott of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Esther and Dan Danaher of Grand Island.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Jolyne Kutschkau.
Zola Schudel
OGDEN, Utah -- Zola Mildred Schudel, 87, of Ogden, Utah, formerly of Ord, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at her home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Ord City Cemetery. The Rev. David Stipp will officiate. The Eastern Star will conduct additional burial rites.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Ord Memorial Chapel.
Memorials are suggested to Parkview Village.
Mrs. Schudel was born on June 24, 1911, in Tripp County, S.D., to Lewis James and Mildred Louise (Kemp) Auble. She grew up in Ord and graduated from Ord High School in 1928.
She married
William H. Schudel in Ord. She was a schoolteacher for five years in Valley County. The couple lived in North Loup and operated a thoroughbred Hereford ranch. Following their retirement, they moved to Ord. She moved to Ogden in 1990.
She was a past president of the Parkview Village Housing Authority and spent many volunteer hours with that organization.She was a member of the Ord Presbyterian Church and an active member in the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a musician and an artist.
Survivors include one brother, Elwin Auble of Ogden; and three sisters, Ruth Swopes and Keo Vallier, both of Ogden, and Myrnie Timmerman of Mesa, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Lewis Auble.
Arnold Bosselman
Arnold C. Bosselman, 91, of Chrysalis Lutheran Homes died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at St. Francis Skilled Care.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Messiah Lutheran Church. The Revs. Gretchen Diers and Martin G. Schr'der will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in the Grand Island City Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Mr. Bosselman was cremated. Kleine Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to the Donor's or Family's choice.
Mrs. Bosselman was born Jan. 25, 1908, at Worms to Henry and Ollie (Conrad) Bosselman. He grew up and received his education in the Worms area. He farmed with his father on the family farm and later worked for Fairmont Foods.
He married
Rose Marie Reher on Feb. 12, 1933, at Grand Island. They lived in Grand Island and he was a fuel distributor to Grand Island Farmers Co-op, retiring after 28 years. He lived at Chrysalis for the past 19 years.
He was an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 378.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Vem R. Salestrom of Omaha; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Victor and Clarence, both of Grand Island.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Elmer.
