Arthur Bausch
AURORA -- Arthur E. Bausch, 90, of Aurora, formerly of Lincoln, died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at Hamilton Manor in Aurora.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Those attending the services are to meet at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (Gate 3) before the service.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.
Mr. Bausch was born on May 14, 1909, on a farm near Hazard to Richard and Johanna (dela Motte) Bausch.
He married
Olive Wille in 1935. They lived in Grand Island for several years and then moved to Lincoln. Mrs. Bausch preceded him in death.
Mr. Bausch worked in sales for Fairmont Creameries and Omar Bakeries in Lincoln. He also worked in maintenance for the Lincoln public schools, the Nebraska State Capitol and Nebraska Wesleyan University before retiring.
He loved gardening, reading and traveling. He traveled across the United States, Canada and Israel.
Survivors include his second wife, Beulah (Johnson) Bausch of Lincoln; one son, Arden of Tiberias, Israel; one daughter, Connie Bibian of Grand Island; and three grandchildren.
In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Adele Siebenlist, Freida Buckner and Ella Eisenmann; and four brothers, Lawrence, Ernest, Raymond and Carl Bausch.
'Joe' Bubak
ANSLEY -- Anton Joseph "Joe" Bubak, 94, of Ansley died May 5, 1999, at Jennie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Methodist Church in Ansley. The Rev. J. Green will officiate. Burial will in the Ansley Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Firemen's Museum of Nebraska.
O'Brien-Straatmann-Apfel Funeral Home of Kearney is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bubak was born on March 11, 1905, in a sod house on the family farm outside of Ansley to Frank and Clara (Topil) Bubak. He attended Valley View and Ash Grove schools.
He married
Irene Royle on Nov. 23, 1932, at Ansley. He was a fireman, policeman, electrician and train conductor. He worked in highway bridge construction and worked at the Ansley Power Plant. He took care of and lived with Mary Hamm for 19 years.
He was a member of the Masons, Odd Fellows, Nebraska Police Officers Association, Rebekah, LEA, Canton Militant, Eastern Star and the Ansley Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
He was the oldest member of the State Firemen's Association. He attended the fire school and convention almost all his years of membership.
Survivors include his son, Arthur of Kinston, N.C.; four daughters, Joann (Mrs. Keith) Hauck of Mitchell, Peggy Paben of Kearney, Pati Dady and Paula Corbin, both of Ansley; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; four brothers, Paul, Tom, Hank and a baby brother, Tony; a half brother, Frank; and two sisters, Grace Berniklau and Fannie Story.
Robert 'Bud' Fuller
HASTINGS -- Robert "Bud" Fuller, 76, of Hastings died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at Perkins Pavillion in Hastings.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Hastings. The Rev. Carl W. Utley will officiate. Private family burial will be at Parkview cemetery in Hastings.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon and one hour before services Tuesday at Butler-Volland Funeral Home in Hastings.
Memorials are suggested to the church, Hastings Public Library or Mary Lanning Hospice.
Mr. Fuller was born on May 20, 1923, at Gresham to Terri G. and Erma (Ingerson) Fuller. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1941 and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1941 to 1942. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1945.
He married
Marjorie Johnston on Dec. 9, 1945, in Newport, R.I. He began working for Home Federal Savings and Loan as the executive secretary in the early 1960s. He continued with the company, reaching the position of president, before retiring in 1987.
He was a past president of the Rotary Club, Hastings school board, Hastings Public Library board, First Presbyterian Church board and Mary Lanning Board of Trusts.
Survivors include his wife; a son, William of Lincoln; two daughters, Barbara Jo Golden of Hastings and Jeanne Glover of Sidney; five grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Jane Coleman of Homosassa, Fla.
Agnes Kosmicki
ASHTON -- Agnes M. Kosmicki, 81, of Ashton died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Ashton. The Rev. Larry Coulter will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis cemetery in Ashton.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. vigil service, Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are recommended to the donor's choice or the cemetery fund.
Peters Funeral Home of Loup City is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kosmicki was born on Nov. 7, 1917, in Valley County near Ord to John and Rose (Benben) Knebel. She attended Ord public schools and graduated from Ord High School in 1935.
She married
Clemence Kosmicki on April 20, 1936, at Ord. They farmed east of Ashton and later moved to Grand Island. She worked for Twin Rivers Co. for 13 years before becoming an inspector/grader for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She traveled throughout Central Nebraska in her work. Mr. Kosmicki died on June 8, 1984. Mrs. Kosmicki moved to Ashton in 1985.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and its altar society.
Survivors include one sister, Mary (Mrs. Jerome) Carkoski of Loup City.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded by one brother, Ed Knebel; and one sister, Irene Conway.
Edmund Krings
ST. EDWARD -- Edmund M. Krings, 88, of St. Edward, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at the Boone County Health Center in Albion.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids. The Rev. Jurdan Counts will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday at Levander Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids.
Mr. Krings was born on Feb. 10, 1911, on a farm west of Cedar Rapids to Emil and Anna (Thelen) Krings. He was educated at Cedar Rapids schools.
He married
Evelyn Bourn on June 14, 1931, at Cedar Rapids. They lived and farmed southwest of Cedar Rapids throughout their marriage. She died on Aug. 19, 1986. He moved to Cloverlodge Care Center in April 1998.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids and served on the Farmer's Co-op board and the District 29 School board.
Survivors include three sons, Dwain Krings and Francis Krings, both of Omaha, and Ron Krings of Cedar Rapids; five daughters, Mary (Mrs. Derek) Moffett of Omaha, Diane (Mrs. Gerald) Osantowski of Clarks and Gwen (Mrs. Marv) Murcek, Beverly (Mrs. Jon) Weil and Barbara (Mrs. George) Sturgill, all of Columbus; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Cox of Omaha and Regina Langan of Marengo, Ill.; and one brother, Richard Krings of Cedar Rapids.
Other than his wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond; and one sister, Irene.
Rose Musil
RAVENNA -- Rose Musil, 98, of Ravenna died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Ravenna. The Rev. Rod Pruss will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery in Ravenna.
Wake service will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the church or the Ravenna Emergency Unit.

Mrs. Musil was born on Jan. 23, 1901, in Buffalo County to Albert and Mary (Kriha) Macek. She was educated in rural Buffalo County.
She married
Edward Musil on April 11, 1920, in Ravenna. They lived on a farm south of Ravenna. They retired to town in 1970.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, South Ravenna Women's Club and many card clubs. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting.
Survivors include two sons, Leonard of Ravenna and Bernard of Augusta, Ga.; one daughter, Alice (Mrs. Larry) Cox of Ravenna; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers.
