Sandra Schnabel
YUTAN -- Sandra Kay Schnabel, 40, of Yutan died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at Yutan.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Yutan High School. The Rev. Carold Anderson will officiate. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Mamre cemetery in Hordville.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Reichmuth Funeral Home in Yutan. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to an educational fund for her children or to Yutan High School for scholarships.
Mrs. Schnabel was born on Feb. 18, 1959, at Central City. She was a teacher and coach at Yutan High School.
Survivors include her husband, Mark of Yutan; two daughters, Courtney and Sarah, both of Yutan; a son, Trevor of Yutan; her mother, Eileen Louise Chader of Hampton; and a sister, Tena (Mrs. Dwight) Comer of Hordville.
Kevin Kolm
CEDAR RAPIDS -- Kevin K. Kolm, 43, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, March 22, 1999, in rural Cedar Rapids.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids, with the Rev. John Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Levander Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the family.
Mr. Kolm was born March 10, 1956, in Albion to William and Ruth Irma "Tudy" (Allison) Kolm. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. He attended elementary school at District 47 and graduated from Cedar Rapids High School in 1974.
He married
Doris A. Salber at Peace Lutheran Church in rural Belgrade on Dec. 16, 1983. They lived north of Cedar Rapids. Mr. Kolm farmed and raised livestock. He was a strong environmentalist. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, canoeing and boating.
Mr. Kolm was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids and was serving as the president of the church council.
Survivors include his wife; four children, Corinne, who is attending college in Wellesly, Mass., and Michelle, Scotty and Christopher, all of Cedar Rapids; his parents, Bill and Tudy Kolm of Cedar Rapids; and a brother, Butch, of Primrose.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother, Gary.
Agnes Kosmicki
ASHTON -- Agnes M. Kosmicki, 81, of Ashton died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul.
Services are pending with Peters Funeral Home of Loup City.

ST. EDWARD -- Ed Krings, 88, of Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at the Boone County Health Center in Albion.
Services are pending with Levander Funeral Home of Cedar Rapids.
Rose Musil
RAVENNA -- Rose Musil, 98, of Ravenna, died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Ravenna. The Rev. Rod Pruss will officiate.
Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery in Ravenna. Rasmussen Mortuary of Ravenna is in charge of arrangements.
Frank Podraza
SILVER CREEK -- Frank A. Podraza, 93, of Columbus and formerly of Silver Creek, died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at the Columbus Manor.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek, with the Rev. Joseph Miksch officiating. Burial will be in the St. Lawrence cemetery in Silver Creek.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday at McKown Funeral Home in Silver Creek, with a 7 p.m. vigil. Visitation will continue from 9:30 a.m until service time Tuesday at the church.
Mr. Podraza was born Jan. 23, 1906, in Chicago to Joseph and Katherine (Novak) Podraza. He attended school in Chicago.
He married
Eleanor A. Valasek on Oct. 25, 1936, at Saints Peter and Paul Church of Krakow in rural Genoa. Mr. Podraza lived in Chicago, Silver Creek and Santa Ana, Calif., where he was a machinist for Disneyland until 1975, when he retired and returned to Silver Creek. He lived in Lexington from 1991 through 1996. He moved to Columbus in 1996.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor of Columbus; a daughter, Katherine (Mrs. Philip) Gray of Hooper; three sons, Bill of Columbus, Charles of Sterling, Colo., and Frank of Hitchcock, S.D.; two sisters, Lillian Moscinski of Bensonville, Ill., and Elsie Yelli of Elm Hurst, Ill.; and two brothers, Joseph of Schaumburg, Ill., and Walter of McHenry, Ill.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Viola Remboldt
CHAPMAN -- Viola Rembolt, 89, of Chapman, died Saturday, May 22, at Lakeview Nursing Center in Grand Island.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Chapman Baptist Church, with the Rev. Lloyd Boyce officiating. Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park cemetery in Grand Island.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Solt Funeral Home in Central City. Memorials can be made to the donor's choice or the church memorial fund. Solt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rembolt was born Feb. 24, 1910, in Chapman to Albert and Stella (Aurand) Schmutz. She attended Chapman school, graduating from Chapman High School in 1928.
She marred Harvey F. Rembolt on Aug. 10, 1928. The couple lived in the Chapman area.
Mrs. Rembolt was a member of the church and a charter member of Pleasant Ridge Extension Club. She sang in the church choir, enjoyed sewing and knitting, and was an avid reader.
She is survived by a son, Delbert of St. Libory; two daughters, Stella Mae (Mrs. Richard) Schaffert of Aurora and Joyce Kay (Mrs. Eugene) Nitsch of Boelus; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, a brother, a grandson and a granddaughter.
Viola Rembolt
Viola Rembolt, 89, of Grand Island, died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at Grand Island.
Services are pending at Solt Funeral Home in Central City.

Vina West
LOUP CITY -- Vina West, 90, of Loup City, died Friday, May 21, 1999, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Mason City. Rev. Victor Crawford will officiate. Burial will be in the Ansley Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Dagmer Andersen
AURORA -- Dagmer Andersen, 96, of Aurora died Thursday, May 20, 1999, at Memorial Hospital in Aurora.
Memorial services will be at a later date.
Sandra Cook
Sandra Lee Cook, 55, of Grand Island died Wednesday, May 19, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Mrs. Cook was cremated. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cottonwood cemetery in Burwell.
Eberle-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Mrs. Cook was born on Jan. 9, 1944, in Greeley to Harry and Orvetta (Crumrine) Schamp.
She married
Dale Cook on Nov. 24, 1962. He died in 1984.
She enjoyed fishing and was an Elvis Presley fan.
Survivors include four sons, Wayne Cook of Sioux City, Iowa, Bryan Cook of Aurora and Pryce Cook and Clyde Cook, both of Grand Island; two grandchildren; her father, of Elyria; one brother, Joe Schamp of Kimball; and one sister, Cathy Schamp of Axtell.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Randy; an infant daughter, Cindy; her mother; and one brother, Chuck Schamp.
