CLARKS -- Ida A. Zedicher, 72, of Clarks, formerly of Osceola, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, as the result of an auto accident east of Central City on Highway 30.
Services are pending for Saturday at Kepner-Roberts Funeral Home in Osceola.
Jesus Arguello
Columbus -- Jesus Arguello, 3 months old, of Columbus died Thursday, Nov. 5, 1998, as the result of a car accident Wednesday east of Central City on Highway 30.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kleine Funeral Home in Grand Island with the Rev. Dale Sallans officiating. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
He was born on July 23, 1998, at Columbus to Sherry Elson and Miguel Arguello.
Survivors include one stepbrother, Camron of Grand Island; four stepsisters, Stacey, Casey, Alicia and Amanda, all of Grand Island; and his maternal grandparents, Cletus and Lucille Elson of Grand Island.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Elson.
Sherry Elson
Columbus -- Sherry L. Elson, 32, of Columbus, formerly of Grand Island, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, as the result of a car accident east of Central City on Highway 30.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kleine Funeral Home in Grand Island with the Rev. Dale Sallans officiating. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She was born on Aug. 20, 1966, at Norton, Kan., to Cletus and Lucille (Shearer) Elson. She grew up and was educated in the Grand Island public schools.
She married
Dave Rittenhouse, and they lived in Grand Island.
Her son, Jesus Arguello, 3 months old, died Thursday as a result of the car accident.
Survivors include one son, Camron of Grand Island; four daughters, Stacey, Casey, Alicia and Amanda, all of Grand Island; her parents, of Grand Island; and six sisters, Joy (Mrs. Lloyd) Deck of Kirwin, Kan., Salina (Mrs. Lonnie) Jensen of North Loup and Joan (Mrs. Jerry) Rapp, Cleta (Mrs. Michael) White, Karen Arens and Sue Elson, all of Grand Island.
Rosella McCoy
COZAD -- Rosella McCoy, 71, of Cozad died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church. The Rev. Don O'Brien will officiate. Burial will be in St. Ann's Catholic cemetery at Lexington.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the Rosella McCoy Memorial.
Mrs. McCoy was born on March 5, 1927, at Columbus to Michael and Rose (Krings) Dreher. She attended schools in Omaha and Grand Island and graduated from St. Mary's High School in Grand Island in 1945.
She married
Leo McCoy on Aug. 14, 1945, at Grand Island, where they lived until moving to Kearney in 1954. She worked as a seamstress and had been employed at Dot's Fabric and Ayers Clothing in Kearney. They moved in 1973 to Lexington, where she and her husband operated McCoy's Shoe Store and she later worked at Betty's Bobbins. They had lived in Cozad since 1988.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She was a member of the Grand Generation Center board and the Does. She enjoyed her blackjack and bridge card clubs.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Tom of Cozad; two daughters, Mary Lynn (Mrs. Gene) Stenson of Republic, Kan., and Cynthia Ann (Mrs. Jeff) Walters of Fort Collins, Colo.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Morris and Bob, both of Grand Island, and Elmer Dreher of Norfolk; and a sister, Alvera Irvine of Grand Island.
Her son Terry died in 1985.
'Kitty' Nansel
CALLAWAY -- Mildred I. "Kitty" Nansel, 90, of Callaway died Thursday, Nov. 5, 1998, at the Callaway District Hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Callaway. The Rev. Fred Andersen will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery at Callaway.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Timm-Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Callaway.
Memorials are suggested to the Callaway Senior Citizen Center or the donor's choice.
Mrs. Nansel was born on Feb. 13, 1908, in Dawson to Charles E. and Minnie M. (Hudson) Mason. She grew up in the Salem area. She graduated from Salem High School in 1925 and Peru State College in 1928. She taught for three years in Arnold.
She married
Charles Nansel on May 23, 1931, at North Platte. Following their marriage, she taught for 27 years at Callaway. Mr. Nansel died on Nov. 11, 1976.
Mrs. Nansel was a member of the United Methodist Church in Callaway. She served on the boards of the Callaway Senior Citizen Center and library. She was past president of the Women's Club and a member of the Nebraska State Education Association.
Survivors include two sons, Larry of Kearney and Lane of Pine Bluffs, Wyo.; two daughters, Linda Lawrence of Callaway and Lee Ann (Mrs. Kelly) Young of Omaha; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two step grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; one step great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Lillian Jackson of Edmond, Okla.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one grandchild and one sister, Eunice.
Katherine Fredrick
TACOMA, Wash. -- Katherine B. Fredrick, 70, of Tacoma, Wash., died Oct. 9, 1998, at Tacoma.
Services were on Oct. 12 at the Garden Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home in Tacoma. Burial was in Mountain View Memorial Park at Tacoma.
Mrs. Fredrick was born on Feb. 3, 1928, at Greeley to Lester and Celestia (Widmeyer) Bengel. She grew up in the Greeley area.
She married
Henry Fredrick.
Among survivors are one daughter; one grandchild; four sisters, including Helen Martens and Doris Freeman, both of Grand Island; and one brother.
Preceding her in death were one son, two sisters and one brother.
Florence Pollard
SALT LAKE CITY -- Florence Lillian Pollard, 95, of Salt Lake City, formerly of Grand Island, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998.
Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Evans and Early Mortuary in Salt Lake City. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Memorials are suggested to Christ United Methodist Church in Salt Lake City.
Mrs. Pollard was born on Jan. 30, 1903, in Clay County to Vincent Carl and Almeda (Swanson) Donelson.
She married
Clayton B. Pollard on June 28, 1925, in Holdrege. She lived most of her married
life in Grand Island. She worked for many years in the infant and children's department at Schweser's Clothing Store. She moved to Salt Lake City in 1972.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn Condon; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Her husband died in 1976. She also was preceded in death by two grandsons; one sister, LaVonne; and a brother, Glenn.
