Helen Koziol
LOUP CITY -- Helen V. Koziol, 93, of Loup City died Saturday, May 23, 1998, at Rose Lane Home in Loup City.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church in Loup City. The Rev. Reggie Urban will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery in Loup City.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with a 7:30 p.m. vigil service.
Memorials are suggested to Rose Lane Home or the donor's choice.

Alice Dunlap
LOUP CITY -- Alice Dunlap, 90, of Loup City, formerly of Ord, died Friday, May 22, 1998, at the Rose Lane Home in Loup City.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord. The Revs. Jim Warner and Stanley Gorak will officiate. Burial will be in the Ord Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8:30 p.m., with a rosary at 7:30 p.m., Monday at Ord Memorial Chapel.
Memorials are suggested to the Rose Lane Home Chapel Fund or to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Mrs. Dunlap was born on Oct. 13, 1907, to Joseph and Anna (Zikmund) Polak in the Geranium Township of Valley County. She was raised in the Geranium Township and attended the Hillsdale rural school in the Geranium Township.
She married
Elwin Dunlap on Feb. 7, 1933, at the Geranium Catholic Church, west of Ord. She worked along with her husband in their business, Dunlap Refrigeration at Ord. Mr. Dunlap died Nov. 6, 1966. She then worked for 13 years at Helen's Dress Shop before retiring. She moved to the Rose Lane Home in Loup City in September 1989.
Survivors include two daughters, Lorraine (Mrs. Ron) Peters of Lincoln and Rosalie Barry of Seward; a son, Gerald Dunlap of Ventura, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Emma Geneski, Agnes Novosad, Antonia Austin and Alma Yancey; and a brother, Steven Polak.
Maxine Bramble
Maxine R. Bramble, 86, of the Grand Island Veterans Home died Thursday, July 2, 1998, at the home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the All Faiths Chapel at the veterans home. The Rev. Robert Harms will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Monday at the veterans home.
Kleine Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Bramble was born on May 4, 1912, in Nebraska to John and Lillian Compton. She grew up and was educated in Nebraska.
She married
Clifford R. Bramble, and they lived in Grand Island. He died on March 24, 1989. She was a homemaker all her life. She moved to the Grand Island Veterans Home in 1996.
She was a member of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Humbert of Canton, Ohio; two sons, Romaine Kane of Grand Island and Manuel Kane of Omaha; five grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Mays of Arvada, Colo., and Betty Stumbaugh of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and a special friend and caregiver, Sandra Benson.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Kane; two brothers, Gordon and Charlie; and one sister, Iris.
Ryan Pochop
Ryan T. Pochop, 11, of 2323 Bellwood Drive No. 193 died Wednesday, July 1, 1998, near his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Kleine Funeral Home. The Rev. Roger Ridley will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Ryan T. Pochop Memorial Fund.
Ryan was born on Sept. 5, 1986, in Hastings to Paula Osbahr and Russell Pochop I. He moved to Grand Island at age 3 and attended Wasmer Elementary School. He would have been a sixth-grader this fall. He enjoyed football and other sports.
Survivors include his mother, of Grand Island; his father, of Omaha; one brother, Michael Pochop, and one sister, Jamie Osbahr, both of Grand Island; two stepbrothers, Tom Lodge and Russell Lodge, both of Lincoln; grandparents, Don and Ardyce Osbahr of Hooper, Milton and Jill Pochop of Fremont and Jerome and Edie Snitker of Hastings; and great-grandparents, Adella Koopman of Hooper, Myron Osbahr, William and Genevieve Pochop of Norfolk and Mrs. Oliver Snitker of Waukon, Iowa.
Josephine Brink
BROKEN BOW -- Josephine Brink, 79, of Broken Bow died Friday, July 3, 1998, at Jennie Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Mrs. Brink was born on Aug. 2, 1918, at Broken Bow to Robert Lee and Henrietta (Smith) Snider. She attended school in Broken Bow. She lived in California for several years and worked as a nanny. She later returned to Broken Bow.
She married
Alvin Brink on June 7, 1968, in Broken Bow. The couple lived in Broken Bow.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Broken Bow.
Survivors include six sisters, Carol Huddleston of Tuscon, Ariz., Donna Pflaster of Cozad, Georgia Lee Bollwitt of Broken Bow, Grace (Mrs. Art) Holland and Faye (Mrs. Harry) Woolstrum, both of Ansley, and Shirley (Mrs. Lee) Richardson of Phoenix; and one brother, Howard Snider of Overton.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Rob Roy, Charles and Paul; and one sister, Patricia.
Phillip 'Bud' Morris
MASON CITY -- David Phillip "Bud" Morris, 87, of Mason City died Thursday, July 2, 1998, at his home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Berean Fundamental Church in Broken Bow. The Rev. Steve Hicks will officiate. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Mr. Morris was born on Nov. 8, 1910, at Seneca to Louis Oscar and Olive Belle (Moore) Morris. He grew up at Seneca among the railroad crews and cowboy-ranchers in the area. He attended grade school in Seneca and went to high school at Thedford. He dropped out of high school when his father was struck by lightning and received serious injuries, followed by a long recovery.
He married
Naomi E. Peltzer on Aug. 18, 1934, at Julesburg, Colo. They moved to Missouri in spring 1935 and returned to Nebraska later that year. They lived in various towns in Nebraska while he worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps. They settled in Custer County in 1942 and moved to Mason City in 1979.
He enjoyed working with cattle and horses. He was an avid reader.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, MaryAnn Hauser of Broken Bow, Roberta (Mrs. William) Dunn of Ainsworth and Genieve (Mrs. Duane) Christiansen of Ansley; two sons, Louis Morris of Marana, Ariz., and Leon Morris of Purdum; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Haney of Mullen and Pauline Carter of St. George, Utah; and one brother, Robert Morris of Broken Bow.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Flossie Walker and Ruth May; and one brother, Paul Morris.
Margaret Vocke
Ashton -- Margaret E. Vocke, 80, of rural Ashton died Friday, July 3, 1998, at the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in St. Paul. The Rev. Larry Lepper will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Jacobsen Funeral Home in St. Paul.
Memorials are suggested the church or the donor's choice.
Miss Vocke was born on Oct. 5, 1917, at Grand Island to William Sr. and Rebecca (Leiser) Vocke. She moved with her family to Litchfield in 1929 and was educated in Hall and Sherman counties. After her schooling, she continued to live on the family farm. She moved to Ashton in 1947 and continued to live on her farm until her death.
She enjoyed gardening and raising African violets.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and the Esther Circle.
Survivors include one brother, Frank of Sargent, and two sisters, Irene Tacl of Kearney and Marian (Mrs. Roman) Maciejewski of Broken Bow.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Robert Vocke.
