Marjorie Seamann
CEDAR RAPIDS -- Marjorie Delores Seamann, 79, of Cedar Rapids died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids. The Rev. Jim Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset cemetery at Cedar Rapids.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday at Levander Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids.
Mrs. Seamann was born on March 8, 1918, 12 miles west of Cedar Rapids to John Blaine and Wilhelmenia (Kolm) Dickey. She attended Greeley County Enfield District 13 School and Cedar Rapids High School.
She married
Michael Seamann on April 15, 1947, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Spalding. They lived and farmed near Bartlett. Mr. Seamann died on Nov. 1, 1950. Mrs. Seamann then returned to live at Cedar Rapids.
She was a member of the Cedar Rapids United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Michael of Beatrice.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Dale.
Eileen Sorensen
ST. EDWARD -- Eileen Sorensen, 72, of St. Edward died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, at Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church at rural Lindsay. The Rev. Vernon Knight will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller-Levander Funeral Home in St. Edward.
Edward Heimbuch
Norfolk -- Edward J. Heimbuch, 66, formerly of Pierce, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, at Faith Regional Health Services West Campus.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church in Pierce. The Revs. Gordon Bruce and Hans Trinklein will officiate. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Stonacek Memorial Chapel of Norfolk is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Heimbuch was born on July 19, 1931, at Pierce to Alex and Margaret (Liebsack) Heimbuch. He attended Pierce High School.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He served overseas from Feb. 25, 1953, to Dec. 31, 1954.
He farmed northwest of Pierce all his life. He had lived at Norfolk for the past two years.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Pierce.
Survivors include two brothers, Elmer Heimbuch of Iselin, N.J., and Raymond Heimbuch of Grand Island.
Evelyn Meyer
LEXINGTON -- Evelyn I. Meyer, 83, of Lexington died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, at Tri-County Hospital in Lexington.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Lexington. The Rev. Tom Reynolds will officiate. Burial will be in the Cozad City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington.
Memorials are suggested to the Elks Crippled Children's Fund or the donor's choice.
Mrs. Meyer was born on June 9, 1914, in Custer County near Oconto to James and Fannie (Martin) McNulty. She grew up and lived most of her life in the Oconto area, attending school there.
She married
August Meyer on Dec. 1, 1931, at Kearney. She assisted her husband in the farming and ranching business until retiring in 1980 and moving to Lexington.
Mrs. Meyer was a member of the Church of Christ in Lillian and the First Christian Church in Lexington. She was past president of the Does in Broken Bow, as well as a past member of many farm organizations. She was an Ak-Sar-Ben Good Neighbor, volunteered for the crippled children's clinic, made Christmas boxes for the needy and volunteered for the bloodmobile for more than 20 years. Her hobbies included bowling.
Survivors include one son, Dietrich Meyer of Lexington; one daughter, Mary Lou (Mrs. Edward) Mueller of Grand Island; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Ralph McNulty of Bend, Ore.; and three sisters, Rosa (Mrs. Fred) Stott of Rapid City, S.D., May Ahrens of Coachella, Calif., and Margaret Mounts of Cashmere, Wash.
Her husband died in 1983. She also was preceded in death by one great-great-granddaughter, two sisters and one brother.
Randell Wagner
HICKMAN -- Randell R. Wagner, 21, of Hickman, formerly of Hazard, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, in Lincoln as the result of a traffic accident.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church in Hazard. The Rev. Dean Hanson will officiate. Burial will be in the Hazard Cemetery.
Rasmussen Mortuary of Ravenna is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wagner was born on Sept. 21, 1976, in Kearney to Richard and Rose Marie (Matejka) Wagner. He was educated in Hazard and at Ravenna High School.
He worked in construction and carpentry for several companies.
Survivors include his parents, of Hazard; one sister, Rebecca Swearingen of Hazard; and his grandmothers, Mary Wagner of Schuyler and Sylvia Matejka of Hickman.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Frank Matejka Sr. and Clyde Wagner.
Edward Baade
AURORA, Colo. -- Edward John Baade, 77, of Aurora, Colo., formerly of Shelton, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, at a hospital in Aurora, Colo.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home.
Mr. Baade was born on July 28, 1920, on the family farm near Shelton to Charles and Anna (Ahrens) Baade. He played baseball and then went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad.
He served in the U.S. Army in the 749th Railway Operation Battalion during World War II.
Mr. Baade married
Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Walahoski on June 29, 1943, in Grand Island. After his military service, he returned to work for Union Pacific in Cheyenne, Wyo., Sidney and North Platte. He retired with 39 years of service in 1980.
He was a member of the Union Pacific Old-Timers Club and Eagles in North Platte. He enjoyed sports, hunting and tinkering with tools.
Survivors include his son, Randolph of Littleton, Colo.; one daughter, Diana (Mrs. Jim) Martin of Aurora, Colo.; two sisters, Helen Walters of Papillion and Edna Waddington of Grand Island; and two brothers, Walter of Cairo and Earl of Colorado Springs, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his wife; one sister, Minnie Hadenfeldt; and four brothers, Herman, Richard, Floyd and Rudolph.
Dianne Larsen
Dianne M. Larsen, 44, of Grand Island died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1998, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church. The Rev. Daniel Bremer will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Larsen was born on March 19, 1953, at Grand Island to Clyde and Leona (Wiese) Bullis.
