Clarence Michalski
LOUP CITY -- Clarence J. Michalski, 85, of Loup City, formerly of St. Paul, died Wednesday, July 15, 1998, at the Rose Lane Nursing Home in Loup City.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul. The Rev. Michael McDermott will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery in St. Paul.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at Jacobsen Funeral Home and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church with a 7:30 p.m. wake service.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or to the donor's choice.
Mr. Michalski was born on March 8, 1913, in Sherman County near Rockville to Frank and Anna (Stenka) Michalski. He was raised on the family farm near Rockville and attended rural schools. He then moved to Chicago, where he worked in a foundry. He worked in the hay fields in Nebraska.
He married
Lucienne Dethlefs on Oct. 9, 1939, at Ravenna. The couple moved to Minnesota, where he worked on a farm. The couple moved near Chapman, where they farmed until 1968, when they moved to a farm west of St. Paul. He entered Rose Lane Nursing Home on Dec. 12, 1994.
His hobbies included fishing, and he played in a polka band for 65 years. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul and served as an usher there.
Survivors include his wife, of St. Paul; three daughters, Ann (Mrs. Ron) McKown of Grand Island, Elaine (Mrs. James) Watson of Dannebrog and Sharon (Mrs. James) Tuma of Ogallala; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Helen (Mrs. Louie) Kaslon of Loup City, Matilda (Mrs. Albert) Matejka of Sherburn, Minn., and Irene (Mrs. Arnold) Vieth of Grand Island.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd and Leo; and one sister, Verna Schultie.
Rev. Harold Snow
ST. PAUL -- The Rev. Harold L. Snow, 84, of St. Paul died Wednesday, July 15, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in St. Paul. Ellen Campbell will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery at St. Paul.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church.
Jacobsen Funeral Home of St. Paul is in charge of arrangements.

The Rev. Snow was born on April 15, 1914, at LeSueur, Minn., to Howard and Myrtle (Little) Snow. He graduated from LeSueur High School in 1933. He graduated from Gustavas Adolphus College in 1938 in St. Peter, Minn.
He graduated from the Omaha Presbyterian Seminary in May 1941 and was ordained to the Gospel ministry.
He married
Louise Asell on Sept. 30, 1941, in Omaha. He served pastorships at Keystone, 1941 to 1944; Blue Springs-Wymore, 1944 to 1948; Bancroft, 1948 to 1959; St. Paul, 1959 to 1970; and Elsworth, Minn., from 1971 to 1976. He last served at the Divide Center, Lyons and Craig Churches, from 1976 to 1979.
The couple moved to St. Paul in June 1979 upon his retirement. He still preached for funerals, weddings and church services when asked.
His wife died on Dec. 18, 1988.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of St. Paul
Survivors include three sons, David of Grand Forks, Minn., James of Sacramento, Calif., and Marcus of Grand Island; one daughter, Janet (Mrs. Robin) Elstermeier of St. Paul; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen (Mrs. Albert) Heath of Palatka, Fla., and Ruth Tellijohn of LeSueur, Minn.; and three brothers, William and Raymond, both of Minneapolis, and Leon of LeSueur, Minn.
Albert Wunderlich
ERICSON -- Albert H. Wunderlich, 78, of Ericson, formerly of Columbus, died Wednesday, July 15, 1998, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church in Columbus. The Rev. Anthony Espinosa will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn cemetery at Columbus with military services by the Hartman Post 184 American Legion Honor Guard.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. vigil, Friday at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Further visitation will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Ericson First Responders or the donor's choice.
Mr. Wunderlich was born on Sept. 18, 1919, at Columbus to Chris Sr. and Rosa (Lang) Wunderlich. He lived in Ericson from 1920 to 1934, when he moved to Columbus. He graduated from Kramer High School in 1937.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps in January 1941. He attended Officer Candidate School in Miami. He served in both theaters of operation and was discharged in August 1945 as a first lieutenant.
He married
Emogene "Em" Kemnitz on Aug. 21, 1946, in Columbus. Mr. Wunderlich and his father operated Wunderlich's Friendly Bar in Columbus until 1963. He started ABC Coating Co. in 1963 and retired in 1976. He moved back to Ericson in January 1991.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Thomas and Jerry Wunderlich, both of Columbus, and Al and Bill Wunderlich, both of Omaha; three daughters, Carol Brezina of Bellwood and Jean (Mrs. Dennis) Armstrong and Joan Wunderlich, both of Columbus; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson; three brothers, Bill, Chris and Max Wunderlich; and two sisters, Louise and Rose Galley.
'Grace' Tyson
WILLMAR, Minn. -- Esther "Grace" Tyson, 76, of Willmar, Minn., formerly of Grand Island, died Tuesday, July 14, 1998, at the Rice Care Center in Willmar.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Grand Island. The Rev. Terry Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Tyson was born on Dec. 13, 1921, at New Raymer, Colo., to Howard and Esther (White) Ducker. She grew up and was educated in Broken Bow.
She married
Bufford "Shorty" Tyson on Oct. 28, 1938, at Ord. The couple lived in Broken Bow and later moved to Milburn, where they farmed. The couple moved to Grand Island in 1965. Mr. Tyson died in 1988. She lived in Willmar, Minn., for approximately five years to be close to her family.
She was a member of Abundant Life Christian Center in Grand Island, where she was very active. She found fulfillment in helping and teaching at the church. She enjoyed oil painting, hand crafts and traveling.
Survivors include three sons, Howard Tyson of Grand Meadows, Minn., Dennis Tyson of Grand Island and Timothy Tyson of Willmar, Minn.; four daughters, Patricia (Mrs. Henry) Mohn of Lincoln, Carolyn (Mrs. Walter) Radespiel of Lincoln, Ill., Nancy (Mrs. Steve) Mohn of Des Moines, Iowa, and Kathy (Mrs. Wallace) Iliff of Willmar, Minn.; 30 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one brother, Leonard Ducker of Broken Bow; and one sister, Betty Shultz of Merna.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Ducker.
Dorothy Becker
Dorothy B. Becker, 83, of Grand Island died Thursday, Jan. 8, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The Rev. Joel Schroeder will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Becker was born on Dec. 1, 1914, at Grand Island to Henry and Emma (Wulf) Voss. She grew up and attended school in Grand Island, graduating from Grand Island High School in 1932. Following her education, she worked in various retail stores in Grand Island.
She married
Walter Becker on April 19, 1935, at Grand Island. The couple farmed southwest of Grand Island until 1975, when they retired and moved into Grand Island. Mr. Becker died on Sept. 9, 1985.
Mrs. Becker was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Richard of Palo Alto, Calif., and Joseph of Evanston, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by eight sisters and four brothers.
Louise Kully
Louise B. Kully, 89, of 2419 W. Anna died Thursday, Jan. 8, 1998, at Community Care of America.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. Cantor Erik Contzius will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Mrs. Kully was born on Aug. 26, 1908, in Grand Island to Max and Flora (Gretz) Greenberger. She grew up in Grand Island and graduated from Grand Island High School in 1926. She attended business college in Omaha and worked for Brandeis Department Stores.
She married
Stan Kully on March 17, 1935, in Grand Island. She assisted her husband at Greenberger's clothing. Mr. Kully died in April 1997.
Mrs. Kully was a member of Tiffereth Israel Synagogue in Lincoln, Andrew Chapter 41 of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Does.
Survivors include one son, Mike Kully of Grand Island; one daughter, Sandra Freed of Omaha; and five grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sarah Frances; and one sister, Miriam Abrams.
