Lillian Krustinger
BENKELMAN-Services for Lillian Krustinger, 86, of Parks were Friday, June 16, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Haigler with burial at the Benkelman Cemetery in Benkelman.
Visitation was Thursday, June 15, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Forch Funeral Chapel in Benkelman. The family was present to receive friends.
Arrangements were made by Forch Funeral Chapel of Benkelman.
She was born Sept. 10, 1919, in a farm home north of Haigler to John and Bertha (Kinnett) Phifer and attended school near her home.
On Oct. 10, 1936, Lillian was united in marriage to Clarence LaVerne “Bus” Krutsinger, and to this union, four children were born.
Lillian was a full-time wife and mother. She was an active member of the Haigler United Methodist Church and received her 50-year membership pin. She was also active in the United Methodist Women and helped with Y-Teens, and played piano and organ for church and other special occasions for many years.
Most of her happy memories were of spending time with her loving family, music, cooking, sewing, gardening, family dinners and watching her grandchildren. Her favorite pastime was playing the piano or organ.
Preceding her in death are her parents, John and Bertha Phifer; her husband, Clarence “Bus” Krutsinger; and brothers, Tom and Glen.
Survivors include her children, Marilyn Hust and husband, Byron of Imperial, Ron Krutsinger and wife, Carol of Norfolk, Garry Krutsinger of Parks, and Judy Krutsinger of McCook; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Alice Alba of Benkelman; brother-in-law, Jerry Krutsinger and wife, Louise of Alliance; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbors.
A memorial was established in Lillian’s memory.
Howard Morlan
CREIGHTON-Funeral Services for Howard Morlan, 83, of Norfolk are pending at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton.
Mr. Morlan died Friday, June 30, 2006, at Beverly Healthcare Center in Norfolk.
Lois Ruhlman
CREIGHTON-Funeral services for Lois M. Ruhlman, 77, of Creighton will be Monday, July 3, at 2:30 p.m. at the Faith Hope and Love Church in Creighton. Casey Nelson will officiate with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery in Creighton.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton.
Mrs. Ruhlman died Friday at Whispering Pines assisted Living in Plainview.
Lois Ruhlman, daughter of Fritz and Ruth (Bent) Misfeldt, was born May 25, 1929, at Faulkton, S.D.
She graduated from Faulkton Public School. On Sept. 12, 1947, she was married to Donald Ruhlman at Faulkton. Four children were born to them, Sheila, Randy, Rodney, and Pamela.
Lois was a member of the Faith, Hope, and Love Fellowship in Creighton.
She died Friday, June 30, 2006 at Whispering Pines Assisted Living in Plainview at the age of 77.
Survivors include her children, Sheila Moser of Norfolk, Randy and his wife Barbara of Gainsville, Texas, Rodney of Creighton, and Pamela Synovec and her husband Roger of Creighton; six grandchildren, Gina Schwindt (Roger) of Syracuse, Troy Moser (Sara) of Tekemah, Kim Bokamper (Dan) of Lincoln, Chelsi Pehrson (Nate) of Beemer, Shaun Waldow and Chad Waldow of Creighton, Don Cunningham of Germany, and Troy Cunningham of Seattle; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Leota Turner of Faulkton, S.D.; and a brother, LeRoy Misfeldt of Pipestone, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Lin Snodgrass
Memorial services will be at a later date for Lin A. Snodgrass, 73, Casa Grande, Ariz., formerly of Brunswick. He died Tuesday, June 27, 2006.
Ruby Zohner
BATTLE CREEK-Funeral services for Ruby E. Zohner, 92, of Battle Creek, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 3, at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The Rev. Michael Awe will officiate. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Steffen Mortuary in Battle Creek.
Mrs. Zohner died Friday, June 30, 2006, at Community Pride Care Center.
Ruby was born on June 28, 1914, at Battle Creek, the daughter of Joseph and Rose Agnes (Reznicek) Finkral. She was baptized on Sept. 10, 1944, in Meadow Grove and confirmed at St. Peters Height’s Lutheran Church.
She attended Battle Creek Rural District 79. On Sept. 8, 1932, she married John C. Zohner at St. Peter Height’s Lutheran Church. The couple then farmed south of Battle Creek and lived there until becoming a resident of Community Pride Care Center in January 2002.
She is survived by one son, Gene Zohner of Battle Creek; one daughter, Elaine and her husband Phillip Scheurich of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Michelle and her husband Shannon Sullivan of Hoskins, Lynn Scheurich of Norfolk, and Justin Zohner of Norfolk.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1973; two sons, Milan in 1939, and Gary in 1999; four brothers and one sister.
Donna Koehler
BROKEN BOW - Services for Donna Rae Koehler, 58, Broken Bow, were July 6 at Govier Brothers Mortuary.
Formerly of Norfolk, she died July 2, 2006, at Red Oak, Iowa.
Heather Norman
WAUSA - Services for Heather L. Norman, 35, of Kearney, formerly of Wausa, will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Thabor Lutheran Church in Wausa with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brockhaus Funeral Chapel in Wausa.
She died Saturday, July 8, 2006, at Wausa.
Heather Lea Norman, daughter of Darrel and Carol (Schuett) Norman, was born Oct. 17, 1970, at Creighton.
Heather attended Wausa Public Schools, graduating in 1989, and the University of Nebraska-Kearney, graduating in 1993. She began her career with Cable USA in Kearney and then worked for Charter Communications as the data processing coordinator.
Heather was baptized and confirmed and a member of Thabor Lutheran Church in Wausa.
Survivors include her parents, Darrel and Carol Norman of Wausa; brother, Heath Norman of Denver, Colo.; boyfriend, Bradley Hansen of Kearney; and grandfather, Marvin Schuett and his wife, Dorothy of Bloomfield.
Inez Smith
CLEARWATER - Services for Inez J. Smith, 97, Wakefield, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Huffman’s Snider Chapel here with burial in the Clearwater Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour before service.
She died Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Wakefield Health Care Center.

She died Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Neligh Nursing Center.
Louie Kampschneider
DODGE - Memorial services for Louie Kampschneider, 64, of Dodge will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church here with private family interment of ashes at the parish cemetery. A vigil will be Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Dodge Memorial Park baseball field. Humlicek Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He died Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Stokely Funeral Home with a Guild and Christian Mothers rosary at 1:30 p.m and a wake at 7 p.m.
She died Monday, July 10, 2006, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital.

Laura Beyer
Memorial services for Laura M. Beyer, 57, of Norfolk will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Home for Funerals with burial at DeLand Memorial Gardens in DeLand, Fla.
Mrs. Beyer died Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Beverly Healthcare.
Laura was born on Aug. 10, 1948, in Deland, Fla., the daughter of Daniel and Dories (Moore) Knight. She graduated from Deland High School. She worked for Sherwood Medical in Deland.
She married Ron Beyer on July 4, 1995, in Norfolk. The couple resided in Norfolk, and she worked for Moyer, Moyer, Egley and Warnemunde Law Firm in Madison and the Norfolk Daily News.
She is survived by her husband, Ron; two stepsons, Joseph Beyer and Jerod Beyer; one stepdaughter, Jenna Beyer; three grandsons, Tavin Johnson, Noah Riefert and Kyrell Jordan, all of Norfolk; two brothers, Eugene Knight and Wayne Knight, both of DeLand, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one stepbrother.
The Rev. Kim Kieter will officiate.
