Dennis Wilson
HARVARD -- Dennis L. Wilson, 53, of Harvard died Monday, Aug. 10, 1998, at his home.
Services were on Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Harvard. The Rev. Bernard Lorenz officiated. Burial was in Harvard cemetery with military rites at graveside.
Alberding-Wilson Chapel in Harvard was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Mr. Wilson was born on Feb. 15, 1945, at Hastings to Dale "Bud" and Mary (Van Arsdale) Wilson. He graduated from Harvard High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy from August 1963 to November 1972 and served in Vietnam for four of those years.
He married
Joyce Randall on Jan. 25, 1980. He had worked for Hastings Industries for the past 12 years.
He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Monica (Mrs. Ken) Elbe of Riverton; one son, Rick Randall of Hastings; 13 grandchildren; his parents, of Harvard; four sisters, Mary Sue (Mrs. Albert) Nelson of Cable, Wis., Sheila (Mrs. Bob) Yohe of DeWitt, Beth (Mrs. Royed) Hollick of Gilbert, Ariz., and Jennifer (Mrs. Jim) Williams of Chapman; and three brothers, Jim and Tom, both of Grand Island, and Bob of Harvard.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, an infant brother and a sister.
Edith Felske
Edith M. Felske, 88, of 614 W. Ninth in Grand Island died Friday, Sept. 25, 1998, at Park Place Nursing Center.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Martin Schmidt will officiate. There will be a family prayer service at 10:15 a.m. Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Mrs. Felske was born on June 14, 1910, in Howard County to Bertel and Anna (Larsen) Mortensen. She attended school in Howard County and then worked on farms.
She married
Elo Hansen in 1928 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She worked at the box factory and at the Koehler Hotel in Grand Island.
She married
Edgar Felske Sr. on Jan. 11, 1956, in Grand Island.
Her hobbies included sewing, making quilts and participating in the Senior Center Swingers Band.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors include one son, Gene Hansen of Grand Island; two daughters, Diann Lehn of Rio Rancho, N. M., and Agnes Page of Albuquerque, N.M.; one stepson, Edgar Felske Jr. of Grand Island; one stepdaughter, Elaine Sinsel of Romoland, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both husbands; one infant son; one infant grandson; one brother, Einor Mortensen; and two sisters, Clara Christoffersen and Lila Jensen.
Morris Kauk
Morris M. Kauk, 75, of Grand Island died Friday, Sept. 25, 1998, at his home after a lengthy illness with cancer.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Grand Island. The Rev. Roger Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in the West Lawn Memorial Park cemetery in Grand Island. Military rites will be provided by the Carl Mogensen American Legion Post No. 119 of St. Paul. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Jacobsen Funeral Home in St. Paul. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the church.

Mr. Kauk was born Nov. 5, 1922, at Saronville to Benjamin and Ella (Rauscher) Kauk. He was raised on a farm northwest of Sutton. He attended District No. 5 rural schools and Sutton High School.
He married
Helen Troutman April 16, 1944, in Harvard. The couple farmed north of Saronville. He served in the U.S. Army from March 1945 to Sept. 1946 in the Fourth Air Force. He returned to rural farming near Sutton until 1967 when the couple made their home near Farwell and continued to farm.
In 1986, he retired and the couple moved to Grand Island where they lived with their daughter Betty Jo.
His hobbies included woodworking, fishing, traveling, playing cards, antiquing and rodeo.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Grand Island, the Platt-Duetsche and the Carl Mogensen American Legion Post 119 in St. Paul.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Melvin of Lincoln, Russell of Colorado Springs, Colo., Randy of Farwell and Howard of Underwood, Iowa; four daughters, Beverly (Mrs. Ray) Hurt and Bonnie (Mrs. Tim) Kosmicki both of Dannebrog, Betty Jo Kauk of Grand Island and Barb (Mrs. Allan) Simmons Jr. of Boelus; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three great-step-grandchildren; and one brother, Don of Sutton.
Anna Pollock
Anna Pollock, 82, of 6238 N. North Road in Grand Island died Saturday, Sept. 26, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Services are pending with Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home.

FULLERTON -- Richard "Duke" Allington, 63, of Fullerton died Saturday, Sept. 26, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Services are pending at Palmer's Funeral Home in Fullerton.
Alma Brandt
WOOD RIVER -- Alma Augusta Brandt, 93, of Wood River died Friday, Sept. 25, 1998, at the Good Samaritan Center in Wood River.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Boxelder cemetery in Mason City. The Rev. Jim Ferguson will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Kleine Funeral Home in Grand Island. The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Diabetes Association.
Mildred Cooley
BROKEN BOW -- Mildred L. Cooley, 91, formerly of Ansley, died Friday, Sept. 25, 1998, at the Sandhills Manor Nursing Home in Broken Bow.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Ansley. The Rev. J. Green will officiate. Burial will be in the Box Elder cemetery south of Ansley. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Govier Brothers Mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.
Donald Murray
ARCADIA -- Donald Murray, 84, of Arcadia died Friday, Sept. 25, 1998, at the Valley County Hospital in Ord.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ord Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Arcadia City Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to service time on Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the Arcadia Rescue Unit.
Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Margaret Nicholas
PALMER -- Margaret Nicholas, 42, of Palmer died Friday, Sept. 25, 1998, at the Litzenberg Hospital in Central City.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Palmer United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ken West will officiate. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Palmer's Funeral Home of Palmer is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Nicholas was born Dec. 16, 1955, in Grand Island to Robert and Helen (Schlueter) Wegner. She grew up and attended school in Archer and Palmer. She graduated from Palmer High School in 1974. She attended Doane and Kearney State College. She worked at Schuppans in Grand Island for a time.
She married
Bob Nicholas on Dec. 11, 1976, in Palmer. They lived in the Palmer and Archer area. She worked at several jobs and was a housewife.
She enjoyed bowling and loved all types of sports.
She was a member of the Palmer Methodist Church, United Methodist Church Women, Palmer Booster Club, 3-G card club and bridge club.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Andrea of Lincoln, Kristin of Wayne and Victoria at home; and her parents.
