LINCOLN - Terry L. Trenkle, 68, formerly of Alliance, passed away July 20, 2015, at Omaha.
He was born Nov. 5, 1946, at Alliance, to Forest P. and Lucile P. (Tschudin) Trenkle.
He was a high school teacher at Alliance.
Terry was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
His survivors include his daughters Tiffany (Maynor) Leal and Stephanie Trenkle of Denver, Colo., and Heather Danekas of Lincoln; and eight grandchildren.
He also is survived by his brother Gary Trenkle of Alliance.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Maynor.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 24, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 510 South 33rd, with Pastor Mark Ebert officiating.
Burial in Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation one hour prior to service time.

Michael L. Stange, 45
Died: Thursday, January 08, 2009, in Fremont
Michael was born July 1, 1963 in Wahoo to Leon and Jennie (August) Stange. He was baptized and confirmed in St. John's Lutheran Church in Yutan. Michael grew up on the farm in the Yutan area and worked with his father on the farm.
He graduated from Fremont High School in 1984, and moved with his family into Fremont in 1988. After his father retired, he enjoyed going with his father to their afternoon coffee at Hy-Vee with the gang. And he participated in Special Olympics.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Leon in July of 2008.

A memorial service will be 10:30 AM Monday (January 12th, 2009) in St. John's Lutheran Church in Yutan with the Rev. Glenn Schacht officiating. The committal will be later in Hollst-Lawn Cemetery. There is no
public viewing, however the family will be at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont on Sunday (Jan. 11th) to receive friends from 3 to 5 PM.
Memorials are suggested to the Special Olympics.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - George Gene Rothwell, 79, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Colorado Springs.
A memorial service will be Saturday, May 30, at Colorado Springs, and Hyannis memorial services are pending.
Alyce Mae Smith, 80
Died: Tuesday, January 06, 2009, in Fremont
Alyce Mae was born on August 6, 1928 in Fremont to Joseph and Lily (Olson) Green. She was a lifetime resident of Fremont, except for a few years when she and her husband lived in Fontanelle, Nebraska. She was a 1946 graduate of Fremont High School and attended Midland College for 2 ˝ years.
She grew up in the family floral business in Fremont, Greens Greenhouse, and worked there all her life until just a month ago when her health failed.
On January 14, 1949, Alyce Mae Green was married to William H. Smith. They were married in Fremont in her grandparent's home, the same home where her father and mother 'Carnation' Joe & Lily Green were married and where her daughter Sue was married to Randy Reyzlik.
Alyce Mae was a life long active member of The Presbyterian Church. She had served her church as an Elder, taught Sunday School, was active in the United Presbyterian Women, member of Circle 4, and taught Bible School. She also had been secretary of the DAR (Daughter's of the American Revolution), a member of the Joslyn Art Guild, the Fremont Area Art Association, and she was a supporter of Keep Fremont Beautiful.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law – Randy Reyzlik in January of 2006.
The funeral service will be 10 AM Saturday (January 10th, 2009) in The Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. William Lewis officiating. The committal will follow in Ridge Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Keep Fremont Beautiful and to The Presbyterian Church. Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont will be on Friday from 2 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM. Visitation at the church Saturday morning will be for an hour before the service.
Rosemary Zuniga, 41
ALLIANCE - Rosemary Zuniga, 41, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015, at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln.
She was born Nov. 16, 1973, in Lincoln, to Jose and Mickie (Gariboy) Zuniga.
Rosemary went to Alliance High School but became a mother at an early age and received her GED in 1995. Rosemary became a stay at home mom to raise her daughters. She later attended Kaplan University in 2005 to become a nurse, but had a change of interest and decided to have her own catering business.
Music, cooking, cosmetology and spending time with her family and friends were Rosemary’s favorite pastimes. She gave the room life when she would walk in with her smile and laugh. Rosemary will be truly missed and remembered for the bright spirit she had in her. She loved and cared for everyone. Rosemary always saw the good in people when everyone else didn’t. She was very caring and willing to help when she could.
She is survived by her daughters Micaela Adam of Omaha and Brittney Sanchez of Lincoln; parents Jose and Mickie Zuniga of Alliance; and brothers Gerardo (Irene) Zuniga and Reynaldo (Vanessa) Zuniga of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Jose Zuniga, Alta Gracia Valdez, Pedro Gariboy and Henya Ocha; uncles Victor Garivay, Reynaldo Zuniga and Raul Zuniga; and aunt Maria Avila.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 24, at the Alliance United Methodist Church, with Jeanie Sedivy officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
