Robert loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He was a member of the United States Air Force from September 23, 1954 to March 22, 1958 and was a member of the reserves until September 22, 1962.
He is survived by his wife K. Elizabeth Domingo; Sister, Dorothy Dennis; Sisters-in-law Thelma Domingo and Flossie Domingo; Sons, Michael (Judy) Domingo of Hay Springs, James (Leslie) Domingo of Crawford, Nebraska, David A. Domingo of Wahoo, Nebraska; Daughter Lisa (Jeff) Cook of Hammond, Louisiana.; Grandchildren, Megan, Jeffrey, Brittany, Zachary, Jeremiah, Aspen, Evan, Jessie, Boe, Toi, Tristan, and Katie; Great grandchildren Gabriel, Leila, Jayalyn, Shayla, Krystyn, Jayden and Aubrianna, also numerous nieces, nephew and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Julie (Hitchman) Domingo; Sister Elizabeth Domingo; Brothers, Eugene E and Harold J. Domingo; Son, Brian E. Domingo, Brother-in-law Robert Dennis; and Nephew Nolan Dennis.

Dolores C. Nydahl
January 23, 1930 - March 25, 2018
Dolores C. Nydahl, 88, of Lincoln, Ne, formerly of Chadron, Ne, died Sunday, March 25th, 2018 at The Arbors in Lincoln, Ne. Graveside services were held Saturday, March 31st at Greenwood Cemetery in Chadron.
Dolores was born January 23, 1930, on the family farm outside of Gordon, Nebraska, to CJ and Florence (Glover) Cunningham. She grew up on the farm, attended District 80 Meadowvale School until 8th grade and graduated from Gordon High School in 1948. On December 30, 1950 she was united in marriage to William (Bill) Nydahl in Gordon, Nebraska. She and Bill made their home in Chadron where the raised their four children. In 2008 they moved to Lincoln to be near their children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, a sister, Marva Holst of Gillette, Wyoming, and sister-in-law, Helen Kling and Norma Nydahl of Gordon; he children, Brad Nydahl of Bend, Oregon, Kirk (Kathy) Nydahl of Phoenix, Arizona, Laurie (Randy) Fahey and Scott (Kristi) Nydahl of Lincoln, Nebraska; Grandchildren Kristin, Joe and Tom Nydahl, Melissa and Tracy Madsen, Allison, Spencer and Turner Fahey, and Alex, Aubrey, and Alayna Nydahl. She was blessed with 8 great-grandchildren; Logan, Clara, Emma, Audra, and Wyatt Sweeney, Lily and Ike Nydahl, and Everly Fahey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Wayne Cunningham, sisters and brothers-in-law, Hope (Hugh) Saxton, Doris (Harlan) Carpenter, Bonnie (Johnie) Stephens, Floyd Kling, Claude Nydahl, and Larry Holst.
Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron Nebraska, is in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established for the United Methodist Church in Chadron, Nebraska.
Jean Lemmon
February 10, 1944 - March 29, 2018
Funeral services for Jean Lemmon, age 74, of Chadron, NE will be at 2:00PM, on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Crawford, NE, with Pastor Tim McCreary officiating.
Jean passed away on March 29, 2018 at the Crestview Care Center in Chadron, NE. She was born February 10, 1944 in Crawford, NE to Calvin and Florence Lemmon.
She graduated from Chadron Assumption and attended Rapid City Business School. She worked at the Chadron Hospital, Hemingford Rest Home, and McDonald’s in Alliance.
Jean is survived by; brothers, Calvin Jr. (Marilyn) of San Antonio, TX, Lon (Carolyn), Tom (Emily) of Crawford, NE, and Tim (Karen) of Whitney, NE, sister Mary Ann (David) Ebmeier of Maywood, NE, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and twin brother Jerry.

Karen Kay Serres
November 16, 1944 - March 20, 2018
Funeral services for Karen Kay Serres will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 9:00AM, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Crawford, Nebraska. Rosary will be Friday evening at 7:30. Burial will be at Montrose Cemetery in Sioux County.
Karen died March 20, 2018 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, following a brave battle with a neurological disorder known as myasthenia gravis.
She was born in Crawford on November 16, 1944 to Luther Clayton (Red) and Catherine Corbin. Karen was the third child of four born to this union. She was raised in Crawford and attended Crawford High School, and married Floyd J. Serres on May 29, 1963. The couple lived in various locations including Fort Robinson, Crawford and Sioux County until they settle in Crawford to raise their family. They were married 54 years, and had three sons.
Karen was the Site Manager for Western Nebraska Aging Office and Director of the Dawes County Senior Center for over 35 years. She was devoted to the people she served at the Center, and nurtured and cared for them. She had a lot of fun thinking of special activities for them. Karen was community minded and involved in man organization and events. She had a lot of fun line dancing with the Galloping Grannies, and being part of the Red Hat Society. She has been a member of St. John’s Catholic Church since 1963 and was active in the Altar Society.
Family was very dear to Karen. She always had time to attend any activities that involved her children or grandchildren. She sat in the bleachers to many, many events. Her family was very fortunate because she showed her loving by preparing special foods for them (like her potato salad and deviled eggs). She was always up for a game, or just to have a nice phone chat, or just to sit and enjoy their company. She was very excited and looking forward to the birth of her first great grandson in May. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Floyd and Karen enjoyed camping, and really liked serving as camp hosts for campgrounds. Karen loved traveling, and spending time with her family in Idaho and Washington. Karen will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Serres, and by her sons Larry (Deb) of Potter, Nebraska; Neal of Crawford; and Casey (Nancy) of Mitchell Nebraska; seven grandchildren--Bryant (Amanda), Brittany, Clint, Cody (Nicole), Clayton, (Tara) Mitchell and Mackenzie. She also leaves her brother, Bruce Corbin; sisters, Shirley Deichert and Janice German, and step brother, Ronnie Leetch. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers-in-law, Tony Deichert and Bryan Sanford.
A memorial has been established for the Dawes County Senior Center. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel.
Kenneth "Buzz" Anderson
November 19, 1936 - March 27, 2018
Kenneth “Buzz” Anderson was born November 19, 1936 in Gordon, NE to Oscar and Christina Anderson. He passed away March 27, 2018 at Countryside Care.
Buzz lived his entire life in Gordon where he farmed on the family farm south of Gordon, first with his father and later on his own. He married DeOnna Matula on June 10, 1956 and to this union two sons were born, Ashley and Shelley.
Buzz loved the country life, raising alfalfa and cattle, terrorizing the neighbors with motorcycles while racing with his sons, shooting pool, playing golf and watching Nebraska and Denver Broncos football. In 1975 Buzz moved his family to town due to health reasons. At this time, he bought the Pit Stop, he also purchased a semi-truck and hauled fuel for Brown Trucking. He sold his truck and purchased the bowling alley and renamed it King Pin Lanes. He later worked for CO-OP where he retired in 2008.
Buzz joins his father Oscar, mother Christina, brothers Leonard and Dick in his heavenly home with the Lord.
Buzz is survived by his loving wife DeOnna, sons Ashley (Gloria) and Shelley (Daneen), grandsons Derek, Broc (Jordan) Jayc & Kyle, great-grandson Braxton, sisters Evelyn Brehm, Helen Finnley, Mildred Dugger and many nieces and nephews.
