Donna Mae Race
PIERCE - Services for Donna Mae Race, 68, Pierce, will be at Christ Lutheran Church at Pierce on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with burial in Prospect View Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday at Stonacek Memorial Chapel at Pierce.
She died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at her home.
She was born May 28, 1938, at Pierce to Gus and Margaret (Bargstadt) Wragge. She was baptized Aug. 14, 1938, at Christ Lutheran Church at Pierce and confirmed March 21, 1951, at Christ Lutheran Church at Pierce. She attended Pierce Public Schools and graduated from Pierce High School in 1956.
She married
Lyle Race on May 13, 1962, at Christ Lutheran Church. They farmed near Hadar and in 1977 moved to Pierce.
She had been a cook at Pierce Public Schools. Later on, she worked as a cook at Pierce Manor and Pierce American Legion. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid and Pierce American Legion Auxiliary
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Race of Pierce and fiance Todd Werner of Norfolk; two sons, Mike and wife Sandra Race of Stanton and Scott and wife Laurie Race of Pierce; five grandchildren; two brothers, Dale and wife Illa Mae Wragge of Pierce and Val Jean and wife Ruth Ann Wragge of Pierce; one sister-in-law, Beverly Wragge of Norfolk.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on June 14, 1982; three brothers, Robert, Lyle, Richard; and sister-in-law, Ina Mae.
The Rev. Matt Bahnfleth will officiate.
Casket bearers will be Rick Hartman, Rob Hartman, Rob Hans, Verle Jensen, Dave Korth, Roger Magnussen, Randy Wragge, Rich Wragge and Mitch Wragge.
Honorary casket bearers will be grandchildren, Nichole Race, Ashley Race, Leslie Race, Hailey Race and Tyler Race.

CLARKSON - Services are pending at Miller Funeral Home for LaVae Svitak, 75, Clarkson. She died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Clarkson.
Duane Tramp
CROFTON - Duane J. Tramp, 73, of Crofton died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at the Yankton Care Center.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Crofton with burial at the parish cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a vigil at 7:30 p.m. at Wintz Funeral Home in Crofton.
Hilbert Libengood
Services for Hilbert C. Libengood, 88, Norfolk, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Home for Funerals with burial in Pleasant View cemetery at Winside. Visitation will be one hour before service at the funeral home.
He died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at Beverly Healthcare in Norfolk.
Emil Hegr
Services for Emil Hegr, 93, of Norfolk will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Norfolk Veterans Home Chapel with burial in Crown Hill cemetery at Madison and military rites by American Legion Post 16 and VFW Winter-Munson Post 1644 of Norfolk.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Howser-Fillmer Mortuary and one hour prior to service Saturday at the Veterans Home.
He died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, at the Norfolk Veterans Home.
Korbin Kitto
Graveside services for Korbin Larry Michael Kitto, infant son of Shari Kitto of Creighton, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Prospect Hill cemetery in Norfolk. Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Home for Funerals.
Korbin is survived by his mother of Creighton; one brother, Jordan Davis of Norfolk; one sister, Jennifer Kitto of Creighton; grandmother, Shirley Muhsman of Norfolk; grandfather, Mike Kitto of Rockville, Md.; grandparents, Lyle and Barb Gullicksen of Wausa; two great- grandmothers, Cecilia Kitto of Niobrara and Gloria Rowland of Wausa.
He was preceded in death by three great-grandfathers and one great- grandmother.
The Rev. Mark Eisenhower will officiate.

Formerly of Norfolk, she died July 2, 2006, at Red Oak, Iowa.

WAUSA - Services for Heather L. Norman, 35, of Kearney, formerly of Wausa, will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Thabor Lutheran Church in Wausa with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brockhaus Funeral Chapel in Wausa.
She died Saturday, July 8, 2006, at Wausa.
Heather Lea Norman, daughter of Darrel and Carol (Schuett) Norman, was born Oct. 17, 1970, at Creighton.
Heather attended Wausa Public Schools, graduating in 1989, and the University of Nebraska-Kearney, graduating in 1993. She began her career with Cable USA in Kearney and then worked for Charter Communications as the data processing coordinator.
Heather was baptized and confirmed and a member of Thabor Lutheran Church in Wausa.
Survivors include her parents, Darrel and Carol Norman of Wausa; brother, Heath Norman of Denver, Colo.; boyfriend, Bradley Hansen of Kearney; and grandfather, Marvin Schuett and his wife, Dorothy of Bloomfield.
Inez Smith
CLEARWATER - Services for Inez J. Smith, 97, Wakefield, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Huffman’s Snider Chapel here with burial in the Clearwater Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour before service.
She died Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Wakefield Health Care Center.
Anna Dostal
HOWELLS - Services for Anna Dostal, 100, Howells, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John’s Catholic Church here with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 2:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the church, with rosaries at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., and continue after 9:30 a.m. Friday. Humlicek Funeral Home is in charge.
She died Monday, July 10, 2006, at Colonial Manor in Clarkson.
Marie Gregor
ELGIN - Services for Marie Gregor, 101, of Elgin will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Boniface Catholic Church here with burial in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Thursday at Huffman’s Brooks Chapel and at the church after 7 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. wake.
