She died at Sunrise Country Manor Nursing Home in Milford on Tuesday, May 2, 2006.

Mrs. Werner died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at Arbor Manor in Fremont.

Memorial services for Jean M. Lininger, 82, Pickerington, Ohio, formerly of Norfolk, will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at Pickerington.
She died April 25, 2006, at Echo Manor Extended Care Center. Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home of Pickerington is in charge.

He died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, at his home.

WISNER - Services for Kathy Dennis, 81, of Bloomington, Ill., formerly of Wisner, will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wisner with burial in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the church with a vigil at 7 p.m. Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dennis died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at BroMenn Health Center in Normal, Ill.

COLERIDGE - Roger A. Hansen, 65, of Newbern, Tenn., and formerly of Coleridge, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at Oakwood Community Living Center in Dyersburg, Tenn.
Graveside services and burial of ashes will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Lawn Ridge cemetery in Coleridge. Services are under the direction of Wintz Funeral Home of Coleridge.

WEST POINT - Angeline Stratman, 91, of West Point died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at the West Point Living Center.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church here with burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery. There will be a rosary Thursday at 1:30 p.m. and wake at 7 p.m. at Stokely Funeral Home with visitation from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.

HARTINGTON - Claudette M. Uhing, 58, of Hartington died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at her residence after a fight with cancer.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hartington with burial at the Hartington City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and vigil at 7:30 p.m. at Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington.

John Poellot
John J. Poellot, 55, of South Sioux City died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be at at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church at South Sioux City with graveside services at 3 p.m. Friday at Prospect Hill cemetery in Norfolk. Visitation will be at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City from 4:30 until 8 p.m. Thursday with a wake at 7 p.m.
John was born Oct. 27, 1950, in Norfolk, the son of John Junior and Bernice Eyvonne (Silkett) Poellot. He graduated from Norfolk High School and attended Norfolk Junior College. He married
Karen A. Pelster on May 24, 1975 in Elgin. He was formerly employed as a liquidation warehouseman for Gateway.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in South Sioux City.
Survivors include his wife, Karen; three sons, Jason of North Sioux City, S.D., Justin and Joshua, both of South Sioux City; his parents, John and Bernice of Norfolk; three brothers and their wives, Ron and Sharon, Roger and Linda, Steve and Carol; nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Schrader, his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Pat Moser, Kevin Melcher, Randy Pelster, Robert Poellot, John Reznicek and Eric Rapp.
The Rev. Daniel Wittrock will officiate.
Myron Brodecky
HOWELLS - Services for Myron Brodecky, 87, of Howells will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Howells with burial in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:30 to 8 p.m. and resume Thursday after 9:30 a.m. at the church. Rosaries will be recited Wednesday at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the church. Svoboda Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. Brodecky died Monday, May 1, 2006, at Faith Regional Health Services.
Myron was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Schuyler to Sen. Emil E. and Lucille (Novak) Brodecky. He received his education in the Howells school system and graduated from Howells High School in 1936.
On July 12, 1943, he married
Grace Kuester in Howells, and they farmed until he retired in 1983. Myron played the trumpet and trombone with the Duffy Belohrad Orchastra for over 50 years and the Howells Hotshots for over 20 years. He also played with other many area dance bands, including The Solid Eight, Joe Fiala, Dwain Muller, Leon Koopman, Mustach Joe, Bud Comte, Al Houdek, Louie Hamsa and Bobby Lane.
He was a tireless volunteer in Howells doing whatever he could to improve the community. He also served on the Howells School Board for 25 years, on the Activity Center Board of Directors, and sang in the St. John’s Choir and played Taps for local veterans’ funerals for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Workmen. Myron and Grace were recipients of the Ak-Sar-Ben Good Neighbor Award. His life was a mixture of family, friends, volunteering, music, humor and laughter.
Myron is survived by his wife, Grace of Howells; two sons, Gary (Jean) Brodecky of Norfolk and Tom Brodecky of Columbus; two daughters, Pat (Mrs. John) Leavell of Des Moines, Iowa, and Lynn (Mrs. Dennis) Matthies of Norfolk; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Joseph (Lauretta) Brodecky of Akron, Ohio.
