Josh McKillip
Services for Josh J. McKillip, son of Russ and Bev McKillip of Norfolk, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Mountain time, at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Broadwater. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery at Broadwater. Ann Bairn will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Jolliffe Funeral Home at Bridgeport. Age 31, he died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005, in a traffic accident in the Phoenix, Ariz., area.
Aron Luckert
Aron S. Luckert of McGinn’s Lake near North Bend died Jan. 30 at Fremont Area Medical Center. Aron was born Nov. 24, 1978, to Kenton and Sherry (Hale) Luckert in Fremont.
He attended school in North Bend and was baptized at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in North Bend. He worked for the National Parks Service which allowed him to relocate to many different parks in many different states including Yellowstone National Park. He has lived in the McGinn’s Lake area since 2006, having moved there following the death of his brother in 2006.
Aron married
Barbie Ulmer on Feb. 10, 2012, in St. Joseph, Mo. She survives. Other survivors include his parents, Kenton and Sherry Luckert of Effingham, Kan.; daughter McKenna Mendenhall of Clinton, Mo.; step-son Skylar Berry of North Bend; step-daughter MaKayla Berry of St. Joseph, Mo.; brother Logan (fiancé, Maggie) Luckert of Tonganoxie, Kan.; and extended family.
A funeral service was held Feb. 4 at Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend with the Rev. Scott Jensen, Chaplain at Fremont Area Medical Center, officiating.

Services for Edwin Renner, 88, Norfolk, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church. The Rev. Chip Winter will officiate with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park and military rites by VFW Post 1644 and American Legion Post 16. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday at Home for Funerals. He died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at Faith Regional Health Services.

EWING - A memorial service for John T. Auman, 81, Verdigre, was conducted Dec. 22 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. The Rev. William Safranek and Doug Scheinost officiated. He died Dec. 1, 2005, at Alpine Village in Verdigre.

NELIGH - Services for Berniece Bartak, 98, Neligh, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Catholic Church. The Rev. Mark McKercher will officiate with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Jack Erwin
LAUREL - Services for Jack Erwin, 85, Laurel, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran church here with burial in the Concord Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the church with family present 6-8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. He died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at Hillcrest Care Center.
Gordon Gentzler
TEKAMAH - Gordon E. Gentzler, 73, of Tekamah died Monday, Dec 26, 2005, at Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha. The funeral will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Tekamah Herman High School gym with military honors by American Legion LaFrenz Post 15 and VFW Bataan Post 3304. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery in Creighton. The Rev. Jane Boeschen will officiate.
