LYNCH - Services for Irene Steinbach, 91, Verdel, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lynch. The Rev. Tom Gall will officiate with burial in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Verdigre with a 7 p.m. wake. Mrs. Steinbach died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at Alpine Village in Verdigre.

SPENCER - Services for Orlyn Wells, 71, Spencer, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at the Wesleyan Church. The Rev. Grant Graff will officiate with burial at a later date and military rites by American Legion Post 78. Mr. Wells died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, at Niobrara Valley Hospital in Lynch.

Last door-to-door milkman in Norfolk Services for Alfred E. Bretschneider, 76, Norfolk, will be Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 10:30 a.m. at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley cemetery in rural Norfolk. The Revs. Glen Gutz and Frank Brink will officiate with military rites by American Legion Post 16 and VFW Post 1644. Visitation will be Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson-Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk. Mr. Bretschneider died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at his home in rural Norfolk.

Services for Cheryl Hirschbach Pierson, 59, Punta Gorda, Fla., formerly of Norfolk, were Feb. 5 at the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jim Wallasky officiated with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery. She died of natural causes Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, in Miami.

Larry Pearson will officiate with burial in the Greenwood cemetery in Creighton. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton. Mr. Gershon died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, at his residence in Osmond of natural causes, possibly of a heart attack.

On Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m., graveside services will be held at Prospect cemetery in O'Neill. Mr. Oetter, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, at Good Samaritan Center in Atkinson.

GRAND ISLAND - Services for Anita F. Moody, 81, of the Nebraska Veterans Home in Grand Island, were held Saturday at the chapel of the home. The Rev. Bill Forbes officiated. At her request, Mrs. Moody's body was donated to the anatomical board. Burial will be in the Greeley cemetery at a later date. Curran Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Services for Micaela "Mickey" Rubio, 52, Norfolk, were held Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Dermot Dunne officiating. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Music was by the Bound For Glory Choir, with Sherri Murphy, soloist, and Mary Bruckner, organist. Bearers were Pilar Vazquez, Ruben Lemus, Rudy Arreola, Frank Arreola, David Delgado, Eduardo Ramirez, Tiego Vazquez, Devin Delgado and Tavian Vazquez. She died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, in a car accident.
